As a drummer, most of my time is spent in the main room. The Hear No Evil team sets up sessions quickly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. My recording process has always gone smoothly. There are a wide range of instruments, microphones, and amps to choose from and the staff will help recommend what to use for the best result. If it's a longer session, there is a microwave and fridge to heat/store some food. Parking is on-site, free, and abundant. I give Hear No Evil my highest recommendation!

When I first started recording in my early music career, I booked a session here for about 2 to 3 hours. I was super nervous, and when I arrived at the studio, he said he had "just moved in", there were boxes everywhere. There were plenty of red flags, but being the young and nervous musician I was, I let it slide. I walked into the session on the agreement that Matthew and I would track and record several elements of an acoustic guitar and vocal arrangement. We spent the entire time tracking guitar, and he kept making me re-record even though I told him I wanted to move on. After an hour we had made zero progress, and I noticed the studio started smelling like Marijuana. He was using drugs and smoking a THC cartridge DURING THE SESSION. On top of this, he literally charged me for every minute here, down to the cent. Didn't get up from his chair once the entire session. Horrible experience, and honestly I should demand my money back. Screw this guy and his "business". Mercury definitely checks both of those boxes.
