Stay away!!!! Called for an estimate: Pierre came by and told us we need to get a whole new Lock set and then that he couldn't do it with our current locks. We said no, wanted a rekey, he then said he couldn't do it , yet it would be more and we said no the service. He then told us we owe him $150 - he doesn't work for free...never told us there would be a $150 charge for an estimate. Plenty of lock services in the area - don't use these guys. read more

They replaced the lock on my front door. Their pricing is reasonable and their staff is extremely nice. Also, made me some extra keys right in the van parked outside. Cleaned up after they were finished. A real gem in the heart of Main St Ramsey. read more

I just had a digital door lock installed by Rick from Accurate locksmiths. He is an exceptional craftsman and is a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend him more highly! read more

I stopped in the store in Ramsey to investigate keypad WiFi connected deadbolt locks. Rick was super helpful suggesting the right brand and model and even suggested that I purchase it directly and he would install it. I purchased the lock, took it to Rick, he keyed the override to match existing house keys and sent Trevor to install it. I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the lock. Trevor is a pro! He installed the lock, set up the codes we requested, and gave us a complete tutorial on the set up and phone app. Exceptional customer service! Pete read more

WOW !! Very impressive locksmith. I have a 2015 Toyota Sienna (gen 2). The key fob battery only lasts about 5 years (see picture). The dashboard will alert you when the battery is low. Swapping out the battery on the key fob is a BFD - don't do it. There is a micro-spring inside of the fob which will fly out when you open it. Short story is do not try to swap out the battery on your own. It took Accurate about 10 minutes to reassemble the fob. Save yourself the stomach acid and just bring in the fob to Accurate & have them swap out the battery. read more

Good business in downtown Ramsey for all of your locking needs. Street parking on the bustling Main Street. Had a lock cylinder re-keyed for a an existing key. Took about ten minutes. If you need them to rekey your house make sure you call because they were booking a few weeks out. read more

A very INaccurate key copy this is that put me in a MAJOR jam because my key copy did not fit the lock. Also, the fact that I was inconveniently too far from this business when I realized that the key copy was trash, is like the icing on the cake. read more

Yet again Accurate Locksmith came to the rescue. Keys went missing causing us to lose access to the garage. We spent a frantic day looking for them and retracing our steps. Knowing Accurate Locksmith is booked far in advance I called and they were able to help. Thank you. read more

Went to get keys made, the guy said they were Medeco so they were expensive. Got 2 made and went to make sure they worked. Well they did not, par for me... went back and a woman was at the counter, I explained what transpired and she looked at the keys, and said "he" made the wrong cut...and redid the keys and said they should work. They did and all is well except for the hour I lost driving back and forth unnecessarily. I am a bit jaded right now since this is a licensed locksmith. read more

Nice people, quality work, good advice. Rekeyed our new home and provided a new quality safe. I would recommend them to anyone.

They do great keys and had them out to re-key the house. Just a word of warning though if you go into the store, someone in there is smoking so the place is loaded with smoke so if you have asthma or smoke allergy, it is not fun. So thumbs up on the service, bleah on the smoke. read more

I phoned to schedule a locksmith to come to my house to fix a keypad lock. Rather than charge me the fee for a home visit, they told me what the simple fix was! No need for them to charge me for a visit. Is that customer focus or what? No doubt whatsoever that when I need a locksmith in the future, they will be the ONLY call I'll make! Thank you read more

Because I run a real estate management business, locks and security are important to me. This is the only firm that I would consider using for all of my lock / security needs. I've used them for many years and they have always been appropriately prompt (quick when I needed them to be quick). Most importantly, they always take the time to explain what they have done and are open to my (sometimes uninformed) questions. read more

Astonishingly fast key duplication. As mentioned in previous reviews they had specialty and commercial keys that I was not able to duplicate elsewhere. Highly recommended! read more

Tom and the team were extremely helpful in fixing our door and were able to secure the parts we need and finish the job much quicker than we had expected. Will definitely use them again for future work! read more

Moved into a new house and needed to have the lock re-keyed. I had this done on a previous time at another house with another locksmith and it was fast and expensive. When I called Accurate in the morning I was hoping they could do the work that day. They said they would try to fit it in at the end of the day and they were able to do it. Chris came to the house and explained that he would re-key the lock as I requested and make sure it was working the way it was supposed to work. Chris strives for perfection and I love his attention to detail. He explained the problems with the locks operation and he knew exactly how to fix it and make it work perfectly. The original parts were installed by the builder and his idea was good enough is good enough. Things were not lining up and this probably resulted in the mechanism breaking (my thought.) Chris machined out some wood to get it aligned and operating perfectly and replaced the broken parts. He had the tools and parts he needed on the truck so the job got done on this visit. The price was quite reasonable. The costs were explained well and the old parts were available so you know you were not scammed. His cost were below the cost from my previous experience. I was very satisfied with the professional service Accurate locksmith provided. read more

As customers for over 25 years, we called Accurate Security at 6:00 am because someone locked themselves out of our home while walking our dog. We were hundreds of miles away on business with no other alternative. We left an emergency message per THEIR instructions and continued to call for over 2 hours. When Denise Woelky finally answered the phone, she informed us that they do not offer emergency service, and had no explanation as to why their message stated that they do. She couldn't care less that we were in an emergency situation, or that we had been long time customers, or that we were misled by the answering machine message. She told us that her technicians already had work to do, and offered to put us on the schedule for after 5pm. She repeated, "they don't do emergency service." This is UNACCEPTABLE and I would NEVER use them again or refer them to anyone. Just horrible. read more
