CAVEAT EMPTOR I have a regular mechanic that could not repair my car's 'possessed' horn, due to the attachment to the airbag. I let my guard down, didn't do my due diligence, and went to Accurate Automotive. I had just purchased this 'as is' used vehicle. The problem erupted (the horn just started blowing) as I was leaving the dealership. The dealership tried to fix by installing a new clock spring twice. This worked for over a week. At that point, I could not go back to the dealership. Again, my mechanic was honest and stated that they could not handle this repair. Now...Accurate Auto told me they were certain it was the clock spring again. (red flag) Okay, I went w this. I've been w my mechanic for so long that I was estranged from places like Accurate Auto. 2 days to receive part - 3 days in shop so far. No loaner. A $400+ part that they charged my $1000 for. $600+ labor. This was now Friday and they don't work on weekends. Monday, 6 days w/o a car and no loaner. This did not fix the problem but they still forced me to pay because 'they cannot return an installed electrical part'. Now, they wanted $3400+ for a new airbag. I asked to talk to the owner...who I was told left for vacation that morning . Okay, who's 2nd in command? The svc mgr will not be back until Friday. My svc rep, Robert, was the ONLY person I could talk to. As you can imagine, I was quite upset. Yes, I spoke (not yelled) the f-bomb a few times. The owner did get contact me. I explained my frustration incl about Robert denying me speaking w the owner, Alex. The owner's response...'and yet, here I am!'. He said that when a customer cusses, they give them the car back. I said, 'that's all I want, but Robert said I now had to pay the $5k+ to get it back ! This was a miscommunication and I got my car back for a 'mere' $1600+ for NOTHING. The horn was still possessed. I asked for and did get back the original, new, and still shiny clock spring they removed. Now they had my car 7 DAYS. I then took my car to Alternative Auto Care @ 12111 N Grant St, Thornton. The owner. Dale Baca assured me they could fix my car for a few hundred $'s. Indeed, they kept my car 1-1/2 days and the fix cost me $500. The problem was electrical short(s) between the clock spring and air bag. Loaner car offered. Alternative also told me that the airbag had been previously replaced due to a recall. I fully recommend Alternative Auto Care. If you choose to take your vehicle to Accu Auto after reading about my experience, then you cannot complain about what they do to you. BEWARE!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SHOP - EVER. FACT: The Accurate dicks are NOT your friend. They are unscrupulous, a ripoff & will take advantage of your situation. My simple old 1970 chevy truck had an electrical short coming off the external regulator, I asked them to just find it. - Also asked them to fix my reverse lights (cost $1574.12) & just find where my oil leaks were (cost $229.69). - Two weeks later they charged me a whopping $1897.69 ($1400 labor, $371.32 parts & $93.88 office fees) & only repaired the reverse lights (replaced 2 light fixtures, neutral safety switch & relay). - They charged me $16.50 just for one simple nut & split washer! - Their oil leak repair estimate = additional $2212.47 I declined. - Never did they find the electrical short but said my brand-new existing O'reily's battery & regulator were bad (they had NO PROOF), needed replaced @ a cost of over $440. I declined & call BS. - I since had O'reily's test both, they passed and were fine. - Accurate could NOT give me total hours of labor on any of this, - it had to be at least $250 per hour! - After I picked up my truck, I found all the new parts @ LMC truck parts online totaled $57.88. - Accurate inflated their parts cost by @ least 640%. I will fix my oil gasket leaks this weekend myself for under $100. Bottomline - Accurate automotive gives auto repair shops a really BAD name!!! For the love of Pete don't use Accurate automotive. I brought my 2006 Mercedes S500 to Accurate Automotive to diagnose a noise coming from my passenger-side wheel. I suspected it was the wheel bearing but wanted professional confirmation before doing the repair myself. I clearly explained the noise location and also mentioned I had a torn boot on my driver-side axle. After dropping off my car, I received a text with a link to their diagnostic report, which included a video. However, the video showed a technician shaking my driver-side axle and claiming that was the source of my problem--not the passenger-side wheel noise I came in for. They quoted over $1,500 for parts and labor to replace the axle. Since I'd already purchased the axle and planned to do the work myself, I declined. That weekend, I replaced the driver-side axle and tie rod end. While doing the work, I noticed the driver-side wheel bearing was slightly noisy, so I replaced that as well. After completing everything and test driving the car, the original noise was still there--coming from the passenger side, exactly where I'd told them it was. I called to express my concerns about paying for a diagnosis that didn't address the issue I brought the car in for. It felt like they simply put the car on a lift, shook the axle with the obvious torn boot, and called it done without investigating the actual complaint. The manager, Alex, was immediately defensive and combative rather than understanding my frustration. While he did offer to look at the car again, I'd lost confidence in their diagnostic abilities. Additionally, their report claimed I needed a brake fluid flush because it was "very dark." I checked the fluid myself--it was clear, and my moisture testing device showed only 0.5% water content, well within acceptable limits. I'm also puzzled by their $1,500+ quote for an axle replacement when the part costs around $400 and took me under two hours to install. Unfortunately, due to the inaccurate diagnosis, questionable additional recommendations, and poor attitude when I raised concerns, I cannot recommend Accurate Automotive and will not be returning. read more

The mechanics there screwed my bolts into my oil pan so tight that I had to have my truck lifted in the air and use a 2ft extension to remove the screw. When I went to let the owner know what had happened, I told him I wasn't sure if I wanted to have them do further work after my 5k miles.. and his response was, "well I don't think I want you as a customer" And well... I read several very bad reviews and was a little wary, but they're close to where I live and got me an appointment the next day. Very professional, honest, knowledgeable, offered a courtesy shuttle, and had treats for my dog. They even fixed a problem I knew I had, but didn't think it was a big deal, only it really was. I left my vehicle at accurate automotive to get repaired. I had left my wallet in the middle console of my vehicle. When we received our vehicle back I grabbed my wallet to find it not how I left it in my middle console. My wallet was on top of everything I had in my console before leaving it at Accurate automotive. This time it was suddenly located buried underneath everything in my console. After reviewing my wallet I noticed 2 of my half dollar pure silver coins were missing. In total I had 6. I was now only left with 4. I called and left Accurate a voicemail during the weekend where they then gave me a call sometime during the week. They stated they pass this up to the owner and have him review cameras to then give me a call back. I didn't receive a call back and had to call accurate myself again for an update. They stated they were still "reviewing footage" and would have the owner give me a call personally. I informed them to leave me a voicemail in case I am unable to answer. Here we are about 2 months later with no call back or update at all. I've had reoccurring issues with this shop that have even included them "inspecting the car fully" witht hat came with informing me of what needs to be repaired, giving the okay to repair vehicle, paying for repairs which perfect that's what needs to be done but it's not worth it when I pick up the vehicle to use the next day and again only for my vehicle next day to continue making noises and having issues. The vehicle was taken back only for them to tell me I basically paid for issues that weren't the main issues to my concern. It was something else that needed to be repaired and not what I had paid for. Meaning they weren't "accurate" as they claim to be and I paid for repairs that weren't needed immediately. The vehicle had to stay extra days for them to get a "second opinion" I informed them Id need to vehicle as again its my form of transportation. I don't understand how the issue that they claimed is the "main issue" to my vehicle was missed as its a huge part on the car and I do not understand how it was missed if to my knowledge again they claimed they inspected the car fully. I paid what they charged me for in regards to inspecting the vehicle fully the first time to get a diagnostic. So again accurate expects me to basically cough up more money to pay for repairs they missed and expected me to trust them still after they didnt fix my car correctly the first time. Whenever addressing issues to the people in front to help find you a solution and to fix their mistakes, they like to argue with you rather than to help you. I am still till this day waiting for a phone call and or even an email in regard to my property that was taken from my vehicle. I get they are "just coins" to others but they are pure silver coins not only that, but I don't leave me vehicle to a shop I trust only for them to take my stuff from my vehicle I am trusting and confiding in them to get my vehicle repaired and not steal from me. I don't feel as though this matter is being taken seriously because I am "Young". Please be aware of this company and look further into what they are even wanting to charge you. read more

I dropped my vehicle off for service and was told serveral days later the work was completed. Upon picking up my vehicle and driving it, it was very clear that my vehicle was not fixed as promised. The CEO, Alex Kacsh of Accurate Automotive was made aware of the situation and he became argumentative and verbally aggressive. Definitely not a positive experience, save yourself the nightmare. Brought my car in for an oil change. Got a ride home but found out when my car was ready that they do not offer a ride back. Doesn't make sense. Had to call around to see if someone could drop me off. Got a ride. So I pay for the oil change, get in my car and notice that the digital screen that tells me my speed, tire pressure and other info about the car is on a wrong screen. So I try to toggle back so I can see my speed, and it won't change. I go back in and someone comes out and looks at it Does the same exact thing I do and doesn't know why the screen won't change. Receptiont tells me there could be an electrical short and they would need me to bring it back so they can look at it again I was also told that what they did for the oil change wouldn't affect anything like that and it was probably a coincidence. I should have read previous reviews because other people complained that there were problems after they got their cars back I would strongly recommend not bring your car here. And as a side note, after I started driving the screen worked just fine. So it seems to me that they were going to charge me for looking at a supposed electrical issue when in the end there was none. Also, seems to me they either really don't know what they're doing there or they were creating a situation that wasn't necessary. read more

We have not had good luck with a few shops on trying to fix a problem with my husband's car. Not to get into a long story about the car, by the way wasn't fixed by Accurate either. Still same problem. The long and the short of it is that the owner is extremely rude and disrespectful to my husband. Bait and switch tactics, asked specifically if they charge an inspection fee for an alignment and was told NO. we take the car there and they find some issues that need to be addressed before the alignment can be done. they quote over 2000.00 dollars for the repairs, we go to leave and they bill us for an alignment that was never done. invoice states alignment NOT INSPECTION, were told if we have the repairs done and bring back within 30days they would do the alignment for which we already paid. Went to do a alignment, paid 166 dollars for it, didn't even fix the problem with the alignment and gave me some BS about how they tried to fix it and didn't even give me my spec sheet. This place is (BS)....DO NOT GO THERE!!!! I would give this company zero stars if I was able to; they charged me almost $3000 to replace my steering column with a junkyard part, And after three weeks in the shop the steering wheel position sensor is still in the wrong position and causing steering problems. I had to take it to another shop just to get the work done that they charged me for. I will never go to this shop again, and I strongly recommend that you never bring your car to these people. I was very clear that I was not satisfied with the work at the time they had me pick up the car. They also told me if I didn't pay them right now and accept the shoddy work they did at their inflated price, they would basically steal my car (lock it up in the back) from me and charge me daily storage fees. I took my SUV in because I ran a report and found many issues centralizing around the BCM. I also noted the traction light was still coming on after hub and ABS replacement and could also be related. I was told the BCM did show faulty and that a rod in engine was malfunctioning. I asked if replacing the BCM would take care of the electrical but told would not correct the traction issues, that requires the engine replacement (that makes no sense). I declined the repair and when I picked up my SUV it was no longer drivable. The engine is constantly knocking and it would not properly start. I barely made it home and the car will not start now. I spoke with Service Manager and explained I came for just electrical and had no mechanical issues this drastic. She argued that is how it was left. I showed the report I ran before bringing it and she stood her ground. I explained I came from ALAMOSA last weekend and had no issues and would have reported this for a diagnostic if I did. I was not insinuating they purposely altered my vehicle but suggested that something was off. After a lengthy discussion, I was asked to leave with no resolution. I barely made it home and the car will not start now. Below are the online reports before and after for consideration with an additiona 17 items after their service. I had very high hopes coming here, my father has been bringing all of his cars here for years, that was before the owner switch. I read the reviews and decide to ignore them (very huge mistake). The first time I took my Cadillac here i had a great experience with the mechanic and office lady and they fixed multiple problems. Upon leaving the shop my car started to lose power to engine as well as my power steering going out. I take it back to accurate where they quote me for a $3800 rack and pinion and $1400 alternator. They also try to be little me by asking if "i put lipgloss in the power steering" when I came in they were very nice to me at first till i asked for a sample of so called "lipgloss" in the power steering which they proceeded to correct themselves in-front of my father and say it was now metal shards, and why they jumped straight to the most expensive fixed. ALEX KESCH decided he was going to be very unprofessional, raise his voice, and proceed to imply my father and i were dumb for asking legitimate questions. (I don't think he understood who he was talking to and that he couldn't scam us by trying to confuse and belittle us.) TOOK MY CAR TO ANOTHER SHOP AND IT WAS A $280 FIX (just a battery) AND THESE PEOPLE TRIED TO CON ME OUT OF CLOSE TO $6,000. Really, really happy with this place so far. Had a rattling issue that Firestone described as the result of struts that needed replacing, some brake issues, and new shocks needed. I'm not a car person at all, so I usually have to go with my mechanics, but it seemed crazy to me to get a quote of $3k. Went here for another opinion and the rattling was something with the steering wheel and fixed that plus a previous window electronic issue for a few $100s instead of $1000s. Rattling and windows back to normal within a couple hours. Have another issue that needs addressing that I plan on returning for in the immediate/near future. read more

took our work van in. it was dying out and idling rough. they first looked at it and they said it needed a fuel pump and fuel pump module. after discussing it with them. they then said it had no transmission fluid in the transmission and that it needed a transmission service for 400.00 dollars. after they did the transmission service they said well the transmission is bad. at that point we picked up the van still running poorly. turns out it was only a small 30 dollar valve on the emission control and a clogged air filter! been driving it since with no issues at all whatsoever. should be inaccurate automotive. they were completly wrong on everything they tried to sell me. beware people! someone on here said they were transparent? they refused to show me the transmission filter they supposedly changed or any of the trans fluid. most shops will show you these proving that the service was needed! read more
