If Hippocrates actually said "do no harm", Dr. John Yee has developed his own modified version of…read morethe oath. His pledge is to "do great good for those who need you most". Two years ago I spent much of my time moving through life in a wheelchair because of a serious foot injury. I was facing seemingly impossible odds when I met Dr. John Yee. While other physicians had given up on my case, Dr. Yee engaged his unending creative problem-solving skills suggesting unique treatments that resolved my problem and resulted in a much-improved lifestyle. As I began to improve, Dr. Yee suggested that an exercise program would be essential to my regaining strength and balance. He found a gym whose talented owner agreed to work with several of his patients recovering from serious medical issues. Under his direction, five of us we're pushed and challenged and we improved --- and then Covid-19 hit and the gym had to close. Dr. Yee then stepped in and offered to personally teach us martial arts strategies and techniques to continue our recovery using a virtual platform. Dr. Yee now coaches us in strength training, balance strategies and relaxation techniques and we continue to grow physically and mentally. His gentle concern has strengthened our minds, bodies and souls. Because of his concern, I am today a seventy-one-year-old woman, who had never been athletic, exercising 7 days a week, learning taekwondo and feeling stronger than ever. I am proud of myself for never giving up. I know that I owe this new life and confidence to my brilliant, challenging physician / life coach, Dr. John Yee. I will always be grateful to him for making the latter part of my life the best part!

The nurse was very thorough and the Dr. Hanna took time to ask about my needs and concerns and was familiar with my conditions. She was informative and relaxed, and addressed my concerns. Despite the difficulties I had with Florida Blue her office was understanding and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this practice.

Any referral I've asked for, she has told me I need to figure that out with my insurance, myself. She breaks everything possible into multiple visits so that billing happens as much as possible. For my last appointment, I had a urinalysis that she admitted she never reviewed, even though it was a severe issue that needed immediate care. I had to make a new appointment a week later to review those results because I still wasn't feeling well. When I told her it was unacceptable that she never reviewed my results, she said "it's Monday" and "you're not my only patient", I said it's been a week and that's a terrible way to treat a patient. She back tracked immediately and said she did review my results and never followed up because she didn't need to. She then began being very condescending to me and even told me she doesn't need to mother me or check back in (and denied telling me to call her if I needed a medication change, as my infection was a tricky one to treat). I again, told her this is very condescending as I was just following exactly what she told me to do. She actually hung up on me during this telehealth video call. She is truly the only PCP that was available when I moved here and it is clear why. The office itself is so gross and creepy. She's cared a lot more about my outfits I wore to my appointments, than my family's colorful cancer history! This was my final straw after her lack of care for 2 years, so this is probably a blessing in disguise for me!

They have a number when you call that no one returns a phone call. The Patients need their Medical Records for a new provider. Where have their Medical Records all gone? No one knows? I was a customer patient of theirs for about thirty five years. This closed up Business needs to answer the phone and release Medical Records the Owner is found nowhere!! I reached out to Sarasota Immediate Care as well as Quest Diagnostic. They said it must of got coded wrong or something and it was be taken care of. But I continued to get bills and it was going to go to collections. I reached out again to find Sarasota Immediate Care had closed. Then I read about several horrible reviews about this doctor not paying vendors or employee's. So basically he pocketed the money I paid for the service, didn't pay his vendor (Quest) so they came after me for it. Even though I had my credit card statement to prove I paid it Quest said I was still liable for the bill because the business was closed so their was no way for them to confirm that I paid it with them. So I went ahead paid the bill again to not damage my credit but this is so wrong! May this doctor be held accountable for his actions!
