Easy to get apps. Congenial staff in the Bradenton site. Surgical center the attendants were brisk and task efficient. There were so many people working there that the atmosphere was hurried. Attendants were not overly friendly and reassuring. They were so busy entering data into their devices and that was their focus. read more

One recommendation: write down the follow up advice given after your treatment or ask an assistant to do so. I have been going to Ramos Pain Management for about 2 years. I just recently had a lumbar epidural steroid injection on both sides of the bottom of my back - prior to this procedure, my pain kept me from walking, standing, cooking, sleeping in the bed and i had to hire a lady to clean my house. I literally could do nothing, except sit in a recliner. After Dr. Ramos gave me this injection, by that night i was pain free and remain pain free. I tried establishing there a few years ago, I knew from the first words this wasn't the place for me. I do have a family member that does use these people. She's 70+, has done injections and therapy before with no success. Well apparently if you don't do either of those again, YOU GET YOUR MEDS CUT for refusing. So instead of continuing the treatment plan she's been on for YEARS, they cut your meds to force procedures on you!! They continuously LIE and tell you it's because of the DEA. That's total BS!! There are no guidelines and if you ask to see them they become nasty. Sometimes they don't bother to even call your meds in KNOWING its your fill day!! They write on your script "do not fill before X date" so if you are going out of town or can't get there on your fill day, NO EARLY FILLS EVER!!! I highly don't recommend this place. Patients need to know their rights and start reporting these providers that cut meds unless you do procedures!!! So basically if you don't do what they say, they will make you suffer with limited meds!!! read more

Really awful. I filled out forms before appointment, filled out more very cumbersome when I arrived. Then I was was called in to answer a lot more . The nurse was really rude and while filling out the paperwork I stood up to ask where the bathroom and she yelled I'm not done! I told I don't care I need to go to the restroom. Then I thought I went for pain management and they were ordering an MRI and back shots. I really believe All they care about is your insurance. I should have read these reviews beforehand. It's really dreadful and wasted all my time filling out stupid papers. I did not mention my back as the reason I went there, I would not recommend them to anyone. Run away! read more

I have been going to the Ramos Center now for close to 15 years, I have had many pain injections, physical therapy and Doctor prescribed pain medications. I feel I am getting the best care available anywhere. The doctors are all knowledgeable and professional. The office personnel are professional and kind. I went to Ramos for several years due to constant back pain. They tried numerous procedures with little to no success. It was basically a total waste of time. i now go to a pain center which was recommended by my orthopaedic doctor. This is a much better alternative and they are activally working on possible solutions. I would not recommend Ramos. read more

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS HORRENDOUS PAIN MANAGEMENT PRACTICE!!! All they want is to abuse your insurance for as much money as they can. Of course, NONE of the gazillion procedures they made me "try" which NONE helped me find any relieve The absolute WORST Pain Management in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. They are opening a gazillion offices and getting rich off us hurting the most. They are only interested in bilking your insurance company as much as they can!! I'm serious as a heart attack about that statement!! They are 100% uninterested in anything about your pain except to create a YUGE list of tests they can THINK OF to keep charging your insurance. This is exactly why our healthcare is off the charts in costs. The very first words out of the receptionists mouth was you have GREAT INSURANCE!! I found that a little bit odd but it explained everything I learned about them after that. I never even met with a Dr and only dealt with one of their nurses all the months I TRIED to get the help I needed. A nurse I'll call Nurse Rachet (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) was the only one (so called "professional") one I ever dealt with all the months I was supposedly getting help from. I honestly needed a Therapist after being tortured by this so called nurse. I just needed some relief from the excruciating pain I was dealing with for YEARS. At that time, I only had a full knee replaced at age 38 and a broken back from a waterskiing accident when I was 24 but lived with pain for 25 years before learning I had 2 vertebrae out of place. Finally had that surgery 6 months before turning 50!! I was BLESSED with the best spine surgeon EVAH, Dr Ryan Glasser, who is a neurosurgeon to boot. Dr Glasser was my MIRACLE. He performed surgery for my carpal tunnel after the spine surgery involving 6 screws, 2 rods & 2 fusions on my lumbar area. L4, L5 & S1. I could write a book on the CONS listing WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER USE THIS EVIL PLACE. read more

Totally changed and steadily gone down hill over the past few years. All the new staff just seems to care more about making money from expensive treatments than making the patient feel better, office visits are rushed and not personal. The nerve blocks for my knees got me completely out of pain.After i've been in a whole lot of pain for weeks

I was directed to arrive 30 minutes in advance of my appt which was totally unnecessary as I wasn't called for another 20 minutes after my appointment time. After a series of questions, It was clear no one had read any of the documentation regarding my previous treatments. The focus was on pain levels which wasn't my main concern. Finally, the last 15 minutes of my hour and a half visit got to the issue I am having. I hope going forward I will have a better experience. read more
