I highly recommend Accredited Driving School, with Chuck Hard as the instructor. Chuck has been a…read moredriver education instructor for many years. Both of my daughters had him as their instructor, and both passed their drivers test the first time. Yes, he does take the time to talk to them and explain to them, not driving 100% of the time. But that is absolutely necessary. He quizzes them on questions they may be asked, is sure that they know where essential parts of their car are located, and provides Youtube videos that they can watch on their own time. With our first daughter, we went along for one of the lessons, and learned a lot ourselves. My younger daughter, who is very judgemental, says that she really learned a lot from Chuck, and has no problem commenting on and criticizing driving habits that I have picked up over time when I am driving. Usually prefaced by "Chuck said that you should...." He has his own hybrid car but did the lessons with my 19 year old daughter in the car that she was going to be driving for her drivers test and thereafter (which was our choice). If possible, he will take your child on an anticipated route that they will have for their drivers test to give them an idea of what they might expect. Please consider Accredited Driving School for your child's driver education.

Chuck did a great job and my son really liked him. My son felt he was really learning a lot and passed his driving test the first time! Chuck even drove down for my son's test, took him to the test, and let him use his car for the test. I definitely recommend Chuck and we will be calling him in couple years when my daughter starts to drive.

I really enjoyed my experience. Charli and Kenny were both extremely helpful and laid back - just…read moreenough to make a very serious class feel tolerable and fun. The students that were most successful were the ones that were humble and just doing their best to follow instructions. I could tell that the instructors wanted us all to enjoy our experience and pass our riding test. I passed but still have ALOT to learn. The tips i'd offer are: - Find a friend with a bike prior to the class so you can sit on it and learn the controls. Just learn whatever you can -Get on any two wheels available to warm up in the days prior to class/morning of, and practice going around corners and turns (even a bicycle) -You will get hot, wear comfy clothes and plan to sweat. The gloves, boots, helmet, and pavement roast you -Be humble and try to relax - everyone is a newbie. They will give you feedback and and constructive criticism. You're not in trouble and you probably don't suck as much as you might be thinking lol - Pack your own snacks and cold water Thanks again for the cool experience. It's much appreciated. I learned alot and will be a safer rider after attending. I do plan to take more classes.

Spencer is the greatest of all time. I'll take him over Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, and Usain…read moreBolt any day. I graduated from one of the top universities in America, and I can confidently say that Spencer is better than nearly all of the professors there. Seldom can you find a teacher who is overflowing with knowledge, is able to convey that knowledge concisely and effectively, and manages to not display an ounce of hubris. Not only is he a walking EMS encyclopedia, he genuinely cares for his students. He wants everyone to succeed, and it shows in both the way he teaches the class and how he treats his students. His lax and understanding nature creates a more comfortable environment that fosters growth and learning. After graduating from the class, I feel fully prepared for the NREMT. But more than just an EMT class, I feel that I have learned an incredible amount of practical knowledge that I can utilize for the rest of my career in medicine. For more of the logistical stuff, I took the 5 week full-time course. It's a lot, but it's manageable--especially if you have a background in science. I was able to score above average on all the exams by basically just listening to Spencer's lectures. I PERSONALLY did not feel the need to read the book or go over the PowerPoint slides, but they are both great resources for additional help. I think the fact that I was able to do well in the class simply based on Spencer's lectures is more a reflection on his ability than mine. Random tips: -There is no wifi. So if you want to be connected to the internet, consider getting a Wifi hotspot for a month if you don't have it already -There's a Keurig machine -Don't worry too much about the uniform. You need it before your ride alongs that are scheduled usually 2-5 weeks after the beginning of the course. Of course, you will look goofy if you are the only one not wearing the uniform during class, but don't worry too much if you don't have it prepared by the first day of class -You need to print a lot of things. Just be aware of this and prepare accordingly. -I highly recommend a restaurant called "Tadian". It is super close by, inexpensive, and tasty with great customer service.

We also had some skill instructors that were amazing including Mark who will soon also be teaching there too . I also had another amazing teacher named Danielle who filled in one day and helped with skills on a different day. I will miss that experience.
