I couldn't have wished for a better instructor, and I can't recommend her enough. The scheduling and billing were straightforward and clear too. Your experience will depend on which instructor was assigned to you. My relative had two different instructors, very different from each other. Soleiman had a nice modern car, but his heart was not in teaching the driver but more of criticizing him all the time. His attitude, I've been told, was as if this job was a side gig to him. Not passionate about teaching, and seems to not be passionate about driving in general. My relative then switched instructors to Mayela. Mayela's car was a tad outdated and kinda dirty on the inside. The good: Business owner Dee, I've been told, is a lovely woman to have a chat with. She is certainly someone who is passionate about teaching, and I'm certain most of her employees are the same. Mayela definitely was someone who shares the passion as well. Kind, patient, understanding. TLDR: Don't waste your time and money on taking driving classes with Soleiman.

One thing I really appreciated was how they tailored each lesson to my pace. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. My instructor gave clear, constructive feedback after every session, which helped me improve quickly without ever feeling discouraged. I work Monday - Friday and my availability is 4pm & after and on weekends. It's been VERY hard to find appointments that fit my schedule and I already had paid the 600 bucks. First lesson was good. Second lesson was canceled 15 minutes before it started on coastlines end. While I understand things happen, I felt completely abandoned by the fact that all they could do was schedule me 3 & 4 weeks later which is 1 week before my drivers test appointment and I still have not even been on a freeway. They didn't do anything to help compensate 1 session or find me an earlier appointment. I'm stressed and just upset at this entire situation

He was able to get his first 2 sessions in before the pandemic hit. The program is setup for your 3rd session to prepare you for the road test. But once the pandemic set in, he couldn't get an appointment for his dmv road test. Laura was kind enough to extend the last session for a period of time closer to his road test. (You have a limited time to complete all 3 sessions if you pay for the 3 session/6 hour deal). Laura was reasonably flexible, on time, and prepared my son for his road test. It was the best value I could find. She came to our house in Eastlake and picked him up in clean and safe sedan. Communication was simple and clear. No miscommunications. Laura did a great job prepping my son to drive. Needless to say, he passed his test with no issues. I recommend national city driving school to anyone looking for a legitimate learning experience, with a professional teacher, at a great value. Shop around and you will see the value in what they offer. Take the complete package, it's worth the initial investment.

From the boys perspective, she was very through with them while driving and they learned a lot from her. We already had 1 kid do their behind the wheel test and passed and the next one is in April. Only thing I didn't like was just the last minute cancels or rescheduling but I know life is hard but overall totally recommend it and will be using them again in a year or so again for the next teen in the house.
