The first thing i must say is that this is a high-end business that offers original designs akin to the tailors of old. You won't be buying anything off the peg and all projects will involve consultancy and be one of a kind items. Of course, this does mean that you will be set back a fair amount, but taking into account the quality and amazing aftercare service, it is well worth saving up for that dream item you have always thought about having made. I have had Curve Couture design and make a number of items for me over the years. The most ambitious being a full length leather coat inspired by the French movie 'Brotherhood of the Wolf'. For every project, Chrissie has provided excellent expert advise, enthusiasm and top quality garments. Alternative weddings dresses, fitted corsets and performance clothing are the main focus of the studio and the website displays a good range of the work produced. Generally, a deposit is taken and then paymetns may be made on completion of the work, or by installments. You wouldn't do all your shoppinng here (I wish I could), but I guarantee that anything you choose to get made from Curve Couture will be in your wardrobe for many years to come. I cannot recommend this seamstress enough!!!

They sell lots of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, all in a unique style with very pretty designs that will make you look like the princess you are. Their bags are very nice and glam, the perfect accessory to match your dress. They also sell flower hair clips and dimante hair accessories including hair bands. In addition they sell umbrellas, underwear and sleepwear, shoes and have a childrens range. On the negative side they can be quite expensive at £6 for a hair clip. The bags themselves can be very pricey as well. They are very nice though and worth the money!

From the simple deep purple shop facade to the gorgeous, sumptuous clothing within, Tribeca is stylish and contemporary through and through. The clothing is sleek and understated- lots of earthy and muted tones, simple but elegant cuts and beautiful fabrics- velvet, silk, cotton and linen. Of course, all of this is reflected in the price tag! The colours and styles remind me a little of Hobbs, although they are somehow more youthful and not quite as reserved. They often have fantastic shoes- I once fell in love with a pair of gray suede boots, but sadly I just couldn't justify parting with £300! Accessories were displayed sparingly throughout the shop - large and stylish handbags, a few pairs of dress shoes and there was also a small collection of lingerie hanging on the wall. The shop is packed with vibrant, youthful clothing and many of the same bags and accessories you'll find at Yoma. This store is much larger than Yoma and can get quite crowded with teenagers at the weekend. The selection of stock is impressive- it doesn't particularly wow me, but I'm probably 10 years older than their average customer! (wow, that's depressing...) The bag selection is great and very up-to-the minute with lots of tote bags and holdalls. I distinctly remember Lulu Rose being one of the first places I saw metallic bags and purses (before they were everywhere), so it's probably a good place to go if you want to jump on board with the latest fashion and accessory trends. In the past I have always thought the clothing was kind off the mark, but lately I've seen a couple of good old body-con dresses (who isn't selling them, seriously, they're everywhere?!) and some pretty cardigans in the window. After much searching elsewhere, Lulu Rose was among my last options. Thankfully I managed to source a bag that was in the sale, reduced for £35 down to £16. There were perhaps half a dozen items that I considered buying, which is certainly better than the previous shops I had tried. Some of the clothes were a bit average, looking like Top Shop inspired items from 3 months previous. Still, I was able to find a good quality bag for a cheaper price than I would have expected.
