After setting up my home with a full security system with a signed contract, I then decided to have…read morethree video cameras installed. I flew 1,000 miles for the installation and they cancelled the appointment the SAME DAY after waiting three months for it. I changed my flight out and the installer finally came. Unfortunately, the wire fell off the video camera the next day. Now, the same camera doesn't work. The support person on the phone asked if I had checked the internet signal to see if it was OK to install the system to begin with. I said to her, you mean it's MY responsible to check this and not the installer. And, she said yes. Now, the camera doesn't work again and I suspect the wire is loose. They said they would check the outside camera after an hour of arguing, but after that, I would be charged $50 for a house visit. If you're wise, don't use CPI. They are rude, unprofessional, misleading, inept, argumentative, have no accountability and possess absolutely no level of customer care. Be forewarned!!!!! Don't be misled. You have other alternatives for security systems that would love to have your business and I suspect, do a far better job with less aggravation!

I have long-standing service issues in relation to the equipment sold initially, installed and maintained by ADT. ADT (incorrectly) maintains it has no record of any of this, as its records recite that I have only been a customer for 1 year. I have had two appointments over the last month in order for ADT personnel to repair the equipment it sold me. No one kept either appointment. I waited 5 hours on each occasion, and the earliest, further appointment is two weeks away. During this time, I cannot operate my security system, since one problem is that it frequently generates false alarms. Terrible service.
