These guys are the real deal. The guy cutting my keys last week seemed pretty grumpy and comes across as such. The thing is, I think he has trouble getting around and is perhaps in some pain. By the end of our transaction he was warmer and I adjusted my expectations. Give me competence over friendliness when keys with chips are cut. I tried the new ACE location in Arden and that nice fella couldn't do it. He tried and tried, but I went back to Eagle. Research their hours. Don't go after 4:00 to get chip keys cut and they'll fix you up. read more

I was in a pickle - my electronic safe battery died and I could not get into it. I emailed and got great tips for trying to get it open and guidance for next steps when that didn't work out. Took it to them, they had to keep it to work on it the next day. They got it open for me and taught me where to change battery so it won't happen again. Changing my review as I feel that this company wants your loyalty but it doesn't work both ways. I had to sound very unhappy for them to even throw me a crumb. I was told that since I wanted a lock that they didn't know they could get I could go directly to Schlage, which I did. Schlage's finishes are evidently not very uniform. They sent a very black looking knob. The person who installed didn't even mention it to me, so I realized it after he left. Schlage sent me a new knob in the correct color but locksmith didn't offer anything off to reinstall until I sounded very unhappy. Then he offered a crumb, so they lost my business. If you want my loyalty as a customer I do expect that same loyalty in return. I certainly didn't expect it for free, but I did expect just a tad more concern from them since this was their third job with me. read more

So on a Wednesday afternoon at 5:55 PM five minutes before this locksmith closed it's doors for the day I was able to get in and get some keys made for my motorcycle. Now on the average that sounds like a pretty simple task but my motorcycle is a Russian Ural and keys are very hard to find at least my previous attempts with my dealer and service business where I take the bike As I answered I had all the hope in the world they might possibly be able to cut a key that was broken from the motorcycle on a blank I purchased online. They informed me they had every single blank that I would need and I even paid too much for the blanks that I did have. They quickly cut my keys and even showed me a few products but I will deathly come back and get in the future. Throw in that guy just about every cone safe you could possibly imagine sitting all over the floors it's pretty neat place to go with some really nice folks that I will more than gladly recommend highly to anyone who is looking for someone in that field of business read more

I have a biometric safe. The batteries failed and I of course put the key in a safe place never to be found again. I took it to these guys and they first tried to get the key code but could not. I asked if they could just open it, they picked the lock in 30 seconds. Just like the movies. Great bunch of guys and well equipped to fix anything. read more

I recently had an issue with a commercial lock. I called American Eagle Locksmith after hours hit the option for their emergency option and crickets. Called again and same issue. The next day I reached out to the office during regular hours and they told me that they had some phone relay issues and apologized. I thought that may have been the case as I've known the owner Alan for many years now and he and his team are top notch. In any case, one of the techs, Daniel, came out, fixed the lock issue, told me a quick fix if it happens again and since they had recently did some work on that same lock, no charge. So while my original frustration was strong, they won me back over as their previous lack of response was due to a phone/technological issue and not due to a lack of service on their part. So, all is well that ends well and this adventure certainly ended well for me. read more

I locked myself out of my house around 3:30 pm - called American Eagle and spoke to someone who said a technician could be there in 35 to 45 minutes. Provided name, address, phone number and asked that they call me when they were nearby. I waited an hour and 15 min before calling them back to make sure someone was coming, and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Called back an additional 3 times over the next 30 or so minutes, never spoke to anyone. Ended up having to cut my screen and climb through a window because it was getting dark and my dogs were with me. At the time I am writing this review, it's been nearly 3 hours since they said they'd send someone out and it's clear that they've just.... decided not to help me. read more
