Recovery from these surgeries requires considerable time. No other options were offered. One visit with the person I now call " Dr.Dan - the Miracle Man" resulted in considerable improvement so that I would not remotely consider surgery. I have been a patient for years and always have a very positive office experience with prompt responses about upcoming appointments. The type of care that is provided is specifically designed for clients and full one-on-one session(s) are the standard-compared to other types of PT where instructions are given but then left sitting to "exercise" independently while the PT attends to other clients. When I showed up to my appointment yesterday, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 3:30 p.m., both doors to the office were locked & one had a real estate-type padlock on it. I banged on both of the doors with no response. I called the phone number I had which was in the 516 area code (we are in Buffalo, area code 716). Someone eventually answered who did not seem to know what she was talking about & was hard to hear. She tried to get me to make another appointment. I told her to just forget about it, I want nothing to do with Advance Physical Therapy. It looks to me as though Advance Physical Therapy was evicted from the premises, as evidenced by the real estate-type lockbox on the door!!!

There was less than a 5 min wait to be taken back to a private room. The first thing that was done every visit was a heating pad applied to my shoulder, I was given some home exercises to do, and it was explained to me how to do them along with pictures. I had deep massages done every visit, and the doctor was very personable, I think I enjoyed going there more just to talk with him. Along with the therapy and cortisone shots, I have been pain-free for 3 months.

I received excellent physical therapy from Sport Rehab and have made a great recovery. They treated…read moreme with personable attention and made sure I stayed with their recommended exercises and not my variations of the correct exercises. :) Over several months I was instructed to increase the variety of exercises and duration as appropriate. I was encouraged to make notes how to do the stretches and do them on my own. After the first weeks, they suggested to come back only weekly which saved me on the co-pays. I hope I don't ever get re-injured, but if I ever need PT again, I'll be back to Sport Rehab on Transit Rd in Depew. Thanks, Phil. Great job in taking care of me!
