I recently had Doug order and hang a french door on an existing frame for my home office. As soon as Doug came over to measure I knew I'd made the right decision to hire him because he noticed that I'd need an external door vs. an internal door because the frame used to be to outside the house. I had talked with some folks at Home Depot about measuring and ordering a door and realized I'd have purchased an internal door and then been stuck with a cheap door that didn't fit. Doug did a great job, hung what was a higher quality door like it had been in the house forever. Because I was home during the process, I found out just how much work it takes to do something that seems so simple, correctly. It takes lots of planing and sanding, and some sawing and drilling of the door blank to make it fit seamlessly. I will likely use them again when we do some window replacement in our dining room and replace some wood siding with vinyl on part of the house. I would highly recommend Accent to anyone. read more

We had 28 large windows replaced, which were not easy to install. We are very happy that we selected Accent Windows for this big job, over 5 different companies, including Andersen Windows. Doug's quote was in the middle, but we chose him based on the positive reviews and a local business in our town. Doug and his team were very professional and meticulous. We have used Accent Windows & Doors for a few jobs over the years...a new patio door, new windows throughout, new front door, new gutters and downspouts and all new aluminum trim. Doug was great to deal with from the quotes to the work, to after service. He and his team were professional, clean, and did great work. We did have a minor issue (bad seal on a window, and a splint in the downspout from ice) which required Doug to come back out. Purchased 6 new windows and a slider from Accent. The crew did a terrific job of installing them and did the job quicker than had been expected. They had to coordinate installation with the security company to make sure the wires and contacts were set up correctly and this proved to be no problem whatsoever.
