The good: Great instructors and welcoming atmosphere in classes! Lots of equipment and cafe/salon…read moreservices are great! The not so good: front desk staff is not friendly to most. Especially one lady with short hair who is always chatting with younger staff and barely looks up to check people in. other's area lifetimes greet you warmly when you enter but most of the desk staff is preoccupied here. Gym desperately needs cleaning- cleaning is done by internal staff. Mats are dirty and never see anyone wiping down weights or mats / although they have spray and towels for guests to use. Restrooms are dirty and need a deep clean and improvements -( behind the stall doors- need to be cleaned)! This location is 20+ years old and lots of newer clubs going in and send this one is being neglected. Speakers in the main group fitness room only work on one side and cut out in the middle of routines. Classes were great but they keep changing formats and if there are less than 12-15 in a class they cut the class. For the price being paid they should hold class even if 5 people sign up. So many trainers around for a fee but classes seem to be getting limited compared to the newer gyms. Still going due to location but it needs some love!

This is a fitness center that is part of the hotel, but they are open to the public since it's a…read morepretty good, although small, gym. A membership costs around $80 a month and they do not offer or sell "day passes." Positives - not too crowded in the morning and virtually dead on the weekends, but evenings and lunchtime has some folks in there. - has all of your major pieces of equipment and tools. - it seems since it's small, not crowded, and has everything, my workouts are much more quickly executed than doing it at the larger gym (LifeTime). - has a certified trainer there some of the time and you can hire her for personal training. - sometimes they offer night classes for spinning. This has gone in and out over the few years I've been a member. - parking and getting into the gym is no fuss and very close - shower rooms are private, have lockable doors, complete with shower, sink, countertop, shampoo, bodywash, etc., although half the time the faucets don't work. - tv's on the treadmills and steppers...and they usually work - they usually have apples (but only apples) out Negatives - there are lockers, but you can't lock them, even if you have your own padlock, so you have to carry your phone, wallet, and keys with you. - faucet in the men's bathroom and most of the shower rooms do not work half the time (been like that for years)...usually the women's bathroom faucet works. I'm only talking about the sink faucets, not the shower water. - takes awhile for broken equipment to get fixed properly (e.g., the elliptical had been sounding like it's about to fall apart for a few months now). I think they tend to take action only when hotel guests say something. - no steam room or sauna - they have towels, but they sometimes smell pretty rough, like they didn't get washed well. Sometimes old makeup on them.

So far I've taken zumba and pilates classes and loved them. They also offer personal training and the machines look really nice. Such a bonus it's located within five minutes of my home. Even if you have to drive a bit to try them out, it's totally worth it. Skip the crazy parking and screaming kids at the big places and come try out Olympus.

I have been working out at Finetix Fitness 5.0 in Naperville/Lisle since September of 2018 and I…read morehave seen some great results! Tori is awesome...she is a great motivator and really knows how to cater a great circuit trained workout. First of all, there are no contracts to sign a 6 or 12 month agreement nor do you have to pre-pay 6 months in advance. Last July/August I was looking for a "boot camp" style work out to get back into shape. There was another fitness place, that wanted a 12 month "contract" where you pre-paid for 6 months at a time for $250-400 per month....for a very similar workout schedule/set up as what Tori has at Finetix Fitness 5.0. I found this place on Facebook and I texted the number and got a reply back in half an hour or so. Tori was professional and avoided any negative statements about other fitness places around...she spoke to me directly and up front and stated what she can provide. I signed up for the boot camp option and here I am, roughly 6 months later, I purchase a 12 sessions of one-on-one training along with the boot camp, and circuit training(we did, upper body, lower body, abs, cardio, boxing, etc) types of workouts...I spent roughly $60/month for 6 months plus roughly $200 worth of personal training, and I am extremely happy with the results...a lot less than spending $400/month for a year...I didn't break the bank to get the results...I suggest, eat healthy and just show up and be ready to workout for 45
