I like most ppl called a mechanic I always take my car too. He said he was too busy and wouldn't be able to see my car till 1 week later plus I had to find and bring all the parts to get the best deal. Mind you this is my commuter car I can't wait 2 week run around get parts. So I decided to call around. 1st to see if the price was right. 2nd see if I anyone can do this the quickest. Need to get back on the road. I must of called 20 different places got all sorts of quotes but no one was legit in terms of parts being use and time frame. I was so tired and upset not having a car I might lose my job COVID and all. I was at the breaking point. It was around 7 pm I got a Call from Richard who I called earlier and he said he will get back to me. He explained it all to me and the time frame and the work and parts etc. He was the only one that spent time to listen to my concerns know my budget and time frame. It's like god heard my cry's and came through. It's truly amazing to know good ppl still out there and understand the struggles. I felt appreciate and he definitely showed empathy. I would like to say thank you for all that you have done. Richard took it to the next level when we sent me pictures of the progress what's going on with my car. He strives to communicate as much information as he can. So far I have told all my coworkers and family that needs any type of service to at least get a second opinion. I though I had a person I could trust who I went to for everything over the last 10 years have given my old mechanic soo much Business only to find out he really didn't care especially when I needed him the most. Asked them to replace an old driveshaft with a new one. They've damaged the new driveshaft in such…read morea way that sand and dirt now get into the area previously sealed and necessary lubrication leaks out. They have neglected to notify me about the damage they've caused. Time charged for work was one hour, cost was $98. Cost of the driveshaft they've damaged ~1500. You decide.
