It was my first time trying acai there, and I was excited to try a little bit of everything. However, my experience wasn't perfect. One of the staff members, who had an accent, came across as unfriendly and was stingy with the toppings, which made that part of my visit less enjoyable. Overall, I appreciated the warm welcome, but I hope future visits have a more consistent experience with all staff members. 2 stars for consideration.

First time in the Tujunga Village. Place is so quaint, pretty, relaxing, chill with lovely people working here. Got a nice welcome today when I walked in around 1pm by 2 of their employees. They have many variety of toppings, fridge full of cold drinks, bowls of your desires (and they are pretty solid). Not watery like some places that I know that sell Açaí Bowls. Ordered myself a medium bowl covered with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, a touch of granola and some chocolate drizzle in between the fruits and the actual açaí. It was very soothing, refreshing, creamy and tasty. I will save my appetite next time when I go back for some Empanadas. Now I know what the hype is all about. They also have dairy free & vegan options. Metered and residential parking in the front and on the side streets! They also have a gender neutral bathroom. Prices are reasonable according to the portions and they don't skimp. You get it filled up to the brim. Established in 2013 and still going strong after all these years!:-))

Caribel is the younger girl who is fast, efficient and knows how to make a bomb smoothie has been there 4+ years!!! Tata is the hands on owner who makes everything from scratch and hustles making drinks!!! They make drinks so quick they know everyones order for the most part Ambiance: cute neighborhood shop with natural light. Everytime I go in I feel inspired and glad im supporting a small business with a soul. I love their TWO dog walls. They also have out door seating with a cute umbrella and cute tree bench as well. Product quality: the owner makes salads and sandwiches from scratch DAILY- think sweetgreen/erewhon level salads with home cooked chicken! Don't get me started with Tata's vinagrettes And the protein smoothies are not too sweet which is fantastic to keep from crashing. The acai bowls are still decently portioned too. My order is: -When im low energy: Maca fuel Protein shake -feeling fruity: Berry Strong Protein shake sub Peanut Butter -feeling a sick: OG Shots -acai: House Bowl, add on Goji Berries! No Honey. Pros: -Free parking in the back -Affordable salads and sandwiches -Fast and friendly service! - can sit outside -Dogs are treated like kings and queens here Cons: -sometimes rush hour on a hot day can be longer wait times. So just call 15-30 minutes ahead and they will hold your cold drink in the fridge in freezer! -If you park at a meter without paying you will get ticketed! So just save the stress and park in the back of the shop!

I had questions about the parking lot since it seemed territorial with neighboring businesses having signs posted for only their customers. I was fortunate to find the only vacant spot that didn't seem to have one of those reserved signs, but I was still nervous since my spot was in between two reserved spots. All that said, the gal behind the counter helped put my mind at ease with where I parked. I ordered the Crunchy Taco Salad made with jackfruit, butter lettuce, black beans, red onion, guacamole, and tomato. It was topped with a tasty vegan dill ranch dressing, and tortilla clips. This was delicious! However, I was expecting the portion to be larger due to the $18 price tag. I get it though...quality ingredients, staff wages, and probably a high rent in this strip mall on Ventura likely justifies the cost. That said, this yummy salad was actually quite filling! https://yelp.to/AC6CzGawRJ The atmosphere is clean, bright, minimal tables/chairs which was just enough for the amount of customers there at the time. Though I'd likely not spend $18 on a small salad again, I didn't regret it either. I was hungry and had a 2-hr commute in traffic ahead of me. The Harvest Bar was a peaceful stop that prevented me from feeling hangry on the road.

I felt like I was on the verge of being under the weather, so I knew I needed fluids immediately! Fresh ones! Natural Hour is on the edge of a small shopping center. There's ample parking available, at least when I went on a weekday afternoon, and there are also outdoor tables and seats with umbrellas to enjoy your juice and snackies! I was delighted to see their wide selection of menu items. I asked for a recommendation and I went with the Gracious Greens. It was fresh, no ice added (yes!) - just freshly pressed juice from fruit and vegetables. Exactly what I needed! I went for the 24oz and it was $10.99. A $1 difference between that and the 16oz. I went for the largest! I also appreciated the brightness in the shop and how warm and inviting the shop was too. I'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu. Fast and friendly service!

The shop is conveniently located in a shopping center between Ventura and Van Nuys and depending on what time of day you come, it can be easy or difficult to find parking here! Thankfully, on a weekday, it was pretty easy! When I arrived, it was pretty busy with other customers also having the same idea as me, trying to get an acai bowl or smoothie to cool down from the heat. Despite how busy they were, my smoothie was made promptly. The service was also very friendly. I got the Ubatuba Smoothie with almond butter added in. It was very fruity and tasted tropical with the nuttiness of the almond butter coming through. It also added a nice richness and denseness to the drink and filled me up so I didn't have a need for dinner! The drink was very smooth and well blended. It was refreshing and cooling and gave me the energy I needed to get me through the rest of the day! The ambiance was nice and there were tables available inside and outside. The seating wasn't the most comfortable, but it was good for a quick relaxing moment to indulge in a drink and escape the heat! I will definitely be back to try more of their smoothies!
