Wonderful, clean place to have some great, delicious, yummy Açaí Bowls, Smoothies, Baked Empanadas…read more I have been to the Sherman Oaks Ubatuba a few months ago. First time in the Tujunga Village. Place is so quaint, pretty, relaxing, chill with lovely people working here. Got a nice welcome today when I walked in around 1pm by 2 of their employees. They have many variety of toppings, fridge full of cold drinks, bowls of your desires (and they are pretty solid). Not watery like some places that I know that sell Açaí Bowls. Ordered myself a medium bowl covered with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, a touch of granola and some chocolate drizzle in between the fruits and the actual açaí. It was very soothing, refreshing, creamy and tasty. I will save my appetite next time when I go back for some Empanadas. Now I know what the hype is all about. They also have dairy free & vegan options. Metered and residential parking in the front and on the side streets! They also have a gender neutral bathroom. Prices are reasonable according to the portions and they don't skimp. You get it filled up to the brim. Established in 2013 and still going strong after all these years!:-))

It was my first time trying acai there, and I was excited to try a little bit of everything. However, my experience wasn't perfect. One of the staff members, who had an accent, came across as unfriendly and was stingy with the toppings, which made that part of my visit less enjoyable. Overall, I appreciated the warm welcome, but I hope future visits have a more consistent experience with all staff members. 2 stars for consideration.

I forgot to take a picture because it was too good…read more Service: always greeted with excited energy by Caribel or Tata. Caribel is the younger girl who is fast, efficient and knows how to make a bomb smoothie has been there 4+ years!!! Tata is the hands on owner who makes everything from scratch and hustles making drinks!!! They make drinks so quick they know everyones order for the most part Ambiance: cute neighborhood shop with natural light. Everytime I go in I feel inspired and glad im supporting a small business with a soul. I love their TWO dog walls. They also have out door seating with a cute umbrella and cute tree bench as well. Product quality: the owner makes salads and sandwiches from scratch DAILY- think sweetgreen/erewhon level salads with home cooked chicken! Don't get me started with Tata's vinagrettes And the protein smoothies are not too sweet which is fantastic to keep from crashing. The acai bowls are still decently portioned too. My order is: -When im low energy: Maca fuel Protein shake -feeling fruity: Berry Strong Protein shake sub Peanut Butter -feeling a sick: OG Shots -acai: House Bowl, add on Goji Berries! No Honey. Pros: -Free parking in the back -Affordable salads and sandwiches -Fast and friendly service! - can sit outside -Dogs are treated like kings and queens here Cons: -sometimes rush hour on a hot day can be longer wait times. So just call 15-30 minutes ahead and they will hold your cold drink in the fridge in freezer! -If you park at a meter without paying you will get ticketed! So just save the stress and park in the back of the shop!

I opted to have a refreshing peach infused ice tea that was a pleasant passenger to the Sausage Redemption I ordered which came in a handy paper holder that kept my hands clean! Flavor profile wise, the aioli brightened up the flavors of the sausage and the egg, and made me audibly MMMM in joy. I can't under praise the hashbrowns, as they were the right amount of salty and weren't heavy and super oily. The staff had the brightest smiles on their faces and genuinely seemed to enjoy have conversations with their customers as we ate our food. Something about humans connecting always makes my food taste better, that's for sure. We didn't break the bank either, since I definitely got my money's worth. I have a whole menu on my try list now! Cheers!

Like it was a p warm day when I was in there last and it was still hotter inside than out. Sometimes owners skip on ac in a misguided attempt to save money, which is a bad call for workers, guests, and general vibes. Plus it seems like there's no management. Staff was working hard, but no one doing expo work or just overseeing the whole flow of operations. Nixing management positions is another weird thing owners do to save on operation costs. Hoping they're doing ok. Would be a shame to lose a favorite local breakfast spot. Staff definitely deserves better.
