I don't recommend them. After giving us poor service, charging us for $4,000 for a leak and then we had a second leak. They wouldn't call back to quote and fix the second leak after I called several times. Our electric bill spiked while we were waiting for a return call. After several weeks of no call backs we went elsewhere. We found out the first installation was poor quality and the unit didn't last as long as it should have. After being a customer for 13 years they just stopped taking care of our unit. read more

I used this company for YEARS, but since COVID, they have gone off the rails! the service is poor and they are charging OUTRAGEOUS prices. I got a new service and the man who came used to be a city inspector. he couldn't believe the prices and they had extra filters that are not needed and were actually hindering my system, and course were charging $200 more than what the filter actually costs. obviously, I'm never using them again. very disappointed, they would use COVID as an excuse to gouge long time customers. read more

I hate to leave bad reviews, especially since the technician AC911 sent was friendly, competent and professional. But their prices are absolutely ridiculous. Our AC wasn't blowing cold air, so we called AC911 per recommendation from a social media page. They came by when they said they would, and diagnosed our issue to be a broken condenser capacitor and likely the fan as well. Our estimate to replace the capacitor was nearly $400! I knew this was a very simple thing to replace (easier than changing car oil), and the part was very inexpensive, so I turned down the work and took care of it myself. This is a part that is available for $10-$40 locally, and takes 10 minutes to replace. I don't think there is anything wrong with paying a fair price for labor and convenience, but charging nearly $400 for a simple job is out of line and a disservice to the community. read more

During a heat wave, I called AC911 to fix one of our two compressors. We were getting hot air in our downstairs zone. Called Monday morning, and they were able to come Tuesday. Ricardo was thorough in his work and made sure we understood everything he did to help solve our issue. He had us back up and running quickly! He also gave us a few things to try if the same problem happens again. (As opposed to keeping the fix a mystery and force us to rely on them coming - and paying- again). We've heretofore relied on AC companies associated with our Home Warranty company. Never were they as helpful, up front, and genuinely concerned about our issue as Ricardo was. I have used AC911 for my rental property and for my primary residence. Both were AC emergencies in sweltering heat. They helped arrange financing for a new system (HERO) which helped tremendously and we wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I now use them for Winter/Summer maintenance. Summer maintenance was performed yesterday by Ricardo, who it also happens, has 4 cats. He was on time, helpful and super efficient. We called this company over because our Ice machine was having problems. However, the next day our ice machine started working and gave no problems yet we still needed to chemically clean the machine. When the technician came in, I told him I wanted it to be clean and he said we can't do that now, I am just here to take a look at the machine. He said that I would have to call in and set an appointment to clean it. He also mentioned just for him coming in, he will need to charge an $85.00 fee. I called in to tell the manager that we will not pay for the $85.00 fee because nothing was done on the machine. He threatened me and said will take me to court and called me a "JERK." Talk about customer service huh. We ended up paying the $85.00 since we are a busy café and wouldn't have time to go to court and deal with this drama. I don't recommend this business to anyone because besides the $85.00 that comes out of the air, their manager calls you a jerk. Pathetic. read more

I've had my new system (condenser, blower, furnace, duct work) for 4 months now and it's rock solid. I shopped around with 6 companies before selecting AC911. The other 5 offered comparable hardware, but the sales reps didn't take the time to explain why one option was better / worse than another. Oze Strausman (AC911 owner) took the time, gave me loads of information and earned my trust. When the time came to install the system, his team were professional. When problems arose during install (they always do), the team took the high road and made sure the right things were done at no extra charge. When a subcontractor doing a roofing patch wasn't available in the install window, they changed my system to a higher efficiency system eliminating the need for the patch. I even saved a bit of money because I could get another rebate with the higher efficiency blower. When they discovered that my coolant pipe (taking coolant from the condenser to the blower) had a hidden crimp, they replaced it at no charge. That was after I had rejected that option in the original bid because the pipe looked okay initially. I recommend Oze and AC911 highly to everyone. The prices are competitive and the service was outstanding. And it doesn't stop with the install. Oze filed for my rebate with Carrier and answers questions on the system as they arise. read more
