I had an install in November of 2025 with Manny. The install went ok, everyone was professional. But now in May of 2026 I have had a few problems with the mini split units they installed, and getting them out to look at or fix them has been not been pleasant, they need to "order parts", they make appoints to come inspect the system and suddenly they are on other jobs. They rarely answer the phone or return messages. Suspicious Business Practices: - Reception refuses to provide license or insurance information - Owners play "good cop, bad cop," switching primary contacts when complaints escalate - Upsold maintenance plan that did nothing to address core issues 6. We had a full replacement from an old 16 year old leaking 3 ton Lennox AC unit to a a new 4 ton Lennox AC and ultra low nox furnace with AC Volt. Everything was replaced including the line set necessary to support the increased tonnage. While shopping I got 7 different estimates and only considered the companies that sent a person over to actually look at my hvac and space. AC Volt was the most thorough in analyzing what the issue is and what I needed. They were clear on what needed to be replaced and options I had either staying with the 3 ton or going up to a 4 ton system and the expectation of each when installed. AC Volt was not the most expensive and also not the cheapest. My range of installers were between wholesale hvac distributors with "I have a number of someone that can install for you" to Costco with a price deviation of almost a used car! We are happy and lucky we decided on AC Volt. On the day of installation the crew showed up on time and worked the full day. They solved installation challenges even to the point of drywall work to fit the new furnace in where the old one stood. There was no renegotiation on price and everything was just done to without question. The crew worked two full days on the installation with all the unforeseen challenges. They were courteous, polite, and very clean. It was clear they went the extra mile to make sure the installation was done right. The new HVAC now works exactly as they promised! It would have been nice to receive a response last week rather be ignored. I asked if this could be added and of course pay for the extra work, but was told only the estimated would be done and I would have to schedule another day for anything other than the estimate. I don't know how they have an overall rating of 4. If l could give them zero l would. They didn't tell me when they were coming until the day before when l called to ask when they were coming. When they did come they missed replacing an outlet. They said l had a shirt somewhere and they would come back to diagnose it. The day they were supposed to come back they blew me off and didn't show up. The day after the electricity went out in my kitchen. I called and they couldn't come. I told them to not bother coming back to diagnose the electrical short because they're not reliable. I've called and text since then to ask when they're coming to replace the outlet l paid for that they missed doing and I've gotten crickets. Do NOT use these people. They're not reliable. They don't care. Use BURGESON electric. They came same day when the electricity went out in my kitchen. They're affordable. They care. They stay in contact with you.
