    I needed to replace our HVAC system. After calling several highly Yelp rated companies I called AC KING for an estimate for a Bryant system. What I liked about Freddy is how quickly he responded and how friendly and informative he was. His quote was competitive without any pressure and after accepting he and his crew were out within three days. They arrived at 7am and all went smoothly with no problems or obstacles. They worked as a team and cleaned up by 2:30pm. I highly recommend AC King for any heating or ac issues

    I am very impressed with the service that Freddy and his group provided . He is a very friendly individual and was also punctual today . He came out to give us a quote and him as his team conducted a thorough inspection . He was able to beat another quote and also amazingly install a new wall heater the same day. I recommend reaching out . I also want to add that he gave us a free quote which we appreciate because not a lot of companies offer that and we had paid for other quotes before.

    Freddy was responsive, punctual, true to his estimate and best of all the mini-split looks great and works. Freddy was the first one to respond to me when I did the Yelp quotes for a mini-split installation and he was the quickest to come give an estimate. He also helped me find an electrician for the electrical line. I never had done a project like this before and I did things out of order but Freddy helped me to the finish line and I am truly appreciative. He could have easily overcharged me but he didn't. All-in-all... Highly recommend Freddy, you'll get quality service and someone willing to talk you through the process and assist with anything.

ALFRED BIRNHAUPL (AC leak repair) - Fixed pipe leak from AC and completed comprehensive assessment of our dysfunctional zoning system. DOMENICK ALONGE (project manager) - Reviewed findings from Alfred, provided detailed indication of issues and resolution options with several quotes. Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Overall, their attention to detail, ability to explain the issues and resolution routes in simple, concrete terms, were far superior than the preceding company. They exceeded our expectations and we much appreciated their patience and openness to answering all our questions. I also want to mention that I was gardening when SEAN was fixing our AC. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." Given everything I mentioned, we're excited to have our overdue AC/heater system fully repaired by Friends & Family. My air conditioner went out years ago and they changed it out. At the time they also wanted to do my furnace I told them no which my furnace was still good for another couple years and then they came back changed a part on it saving me a little money but the. It went out so I had to shell up the big bucks for it. The value here I do think is better than other places but I wish they would work on the upsell a little bit because times are tough and we don't need that but I do trust this company for things I do need.

The first time, the technician had placed a sticker on our AC unit, so when cold air stopped flowing this time, it was easy to call them. The process was effortless: customer service answered right away, their system recognized my address from my phone number, and within an hour (on a Sunday evening!) they dispatched two technicians. I also appreciated getting a text notification with their names and photo IDs so I knew exactly who was coming. The diagnosis wasn't the news we wanted to hear -- it was time to replace our 12-year-old AC unit. We had already refurbished the motor last year, which gave us one more season, but it had truly reached the end of its life. What I appreciated most was that we never felt pressured into buying a new unit, even though it was recommended. The technicians walked us through our options: spending over half the cost on a refurbished unit with no warranty or going with a brand-new system that came with one. After thoughtful discussion, both between my husband and me, and with the technicians, we decided to move forward with MSP's recommendation and financed the new unit. The paperwork process was smooth, and they were even able to secure an installation appointment for the very next day. As a thoughtful touch, they even offered us a hotel stay to avoid the heat, though we decided to wait. The next day, two installation crews arrived right on time. One worked in the attic while the other installed the unit outside. Both were courteous, respectful, and professional throughout. The real reason I give MSP five stars, beyond their product and service, is how they handled aftercare -- and the glimpse I got of how well they treat their employees. After installation, my husband noticed the duct bracket hadn't been done exactly as he'd requested. Since we have a Belgian Malinois who chews on everything, he wanted the cables covered with a custom metal bracket, which had been discussed with the technician. Clearly, there was a miscommunication. I called the next day and spoke with Bella (the manager, I believe). She explained that this was technically outside their scope, but she listened carefully, acknowledged the issue, and immediately sent her crew back the same day to resolve it. I appreciated that she didn't get defensive, but instead valued our input and honored our trust. Finally, I want to applaud MSP for the way they treat their employees. All four team members who helped us mentioned how much they enjoy working there, and it shows in the quality of their work. On top of that, we were thrilled to learn that the X Series unit we purchased is the kind of product that could be sold at a much higher rate through a corporate AC company (according to one technician who used to work at a corporate), but MSP offered it at a fair and reasonable price. That kind of transparency and value is rare. I truly believe happy employees and fair business practices translate into happy customers, and this company is proof of that. I was requested to provide a credit card for the rental without even knowing what the services or costs would entail, so I refused to provide one and they just didn't show up for either of the scheduled services, nor provided a courtesy call. This morning, I tried to schedule a service again for my primary home (not the rental), and while there were available times on the website, I received a call demanding a credit card again saying my address was linked to a rental. I restated multiple times that the service I was requesting was NOT for the rental and the lady kept bringing up the rental. She finally said she would 'redflag' the rental address, schedule me for my primary home and would check to see if there were available times. She came back in 2 seconds and said there were no available times that she would place me on a waitlist. I informed her there were still slots listed on her website, and she said they are all gone now. I just went back to the company's website scheduling portal and they have several openings as early as 3/6. I feel this lady is discriminating against me or wanting to commit fraud by demanding a credit card without even quoting me on anything or getting details on the service requested. I am deeply disappointed and would caution people from soliciting services from this company. I had been receiving the company's flyer for over a year now and was finally excited to call because of the reviews and pricing listed on flyer. I am shocked at the lady who schedules and the demands for a credit card only to me. I had someone else try to schedule and a credit card was not demanded. I will take my business elsewhere.
