Very nice, great customer service and affordable prices. I highly recommend and will be using for all future fireplace needs.

Christmas for Courtney came in September, folks! The NUMBER ONE priority (of mine, ahem...) upon moving into my new home, was to get the fireplace... "DONE". Perhaps that doesn't sound practical, but listen... my fireplace is the focal point of the entire house! This, my dears, was an absolute necessity! I called Fireplace Fix in July, and Deb was very clear with what I could expect, what I would need, and how much it would cost (her estimated "ballpark" was right on target!). She and Mariah giggled on the other line at my "Backdraft the Movie" dramatic reactions as they assisted me over the phone with turning my gas fireplace on for the very first time. They also suggested that I complete my exterior reno first (with my tile contractor) before they finished out the interior. I didn't talk to them for about a month while I sorted it all out, and then-- BOOM... the magic happened! Mariah and his lovely assistant tech arrived promptly, measured and discussed our options. And one week later, my splendidly glittery fireglass fireplace became a reality! Cinderella never had it soo good.... Bibbity Bobbity Boo!! read more

needed my fire place cleaned and serviced since we just moved in and had no idea how it was kept by the previous owners. I called and had a pleasant conversation and made my appointment with ease. Before the tech was to arrive they called with a heads up and My tech arrived on time. Josh was friendly and helpful and made the experience smooth. Josh cleaned the entire unit including the glass and found a crack in the burner, so we got that ordered and waited for the parts to arrive. Josh came back and got everything installed and running with no issues. This is the second company I've found using Yelp and I'm 2 for 2 with winners. I'm super happy I found them and def recommend. read more

We are so glad we found you. When we bought our new-to-us home, we discovered that the fireplace grate was missing. Unfortunately that model was discontinued and no parts are available. According to the fireplace representative from Heat and Glo, it necessitates taking out the fireplace insert and redoing the entire fireplace (including tearing out the current tile surround) to accommodate a new model. We were quoted nearly $5K, not counting what it would cost to re-do the fireplace surround. We looked for an alternative and contacted Fireplace Fix. Deborah whose communications with us is topnotch, suggested that Mariah come and check it out. He did, and thought maybe he can have a new grate made but that's a long shot. Deborah asked if we would consider fire glass. We didn't even think of that as an option. What a terrific idea! So Mariah modified our gas fireplace. And before doing that, he even cleaned it out as well as the glass plate. He made sure that the modification included a very visible indication showing the pilot light. He also fixed the cover plate that kept coming off. We chose smooth "diamond-shaped" fire glass and are quite happy with the final effect. The fireplace emits the right amount of heat. And changing over to the fire glass transformed the fireplace from something traditional (albeit with fake logs) to contemporary. We're extremely happy with the cheerful and prompt communications and the exceptional work...and also very happy for the suggestion that turned out to be the best and least expensive solution. Thank you! Five stars all the way! read more

Couldn't ask for better customer service from start to finish. Deb is a delight when it comes to scheduling and explaining what will happen. Miriah was timely, a consummate professional, competent, and tidy. Fixed what was wrong with the fireplace, told me what to look for as the fireplace ages, and explained what he was doing every step of the way. The fee was extremely reasonable and the payment method was a breeze. I wish every business interaction was a wonderful and hassle free as this one. read more

Highly recommend. Josh arrived during the scheduled time and was polite and professional. He completely cleaned our 20 year old gas fireplace, removed carbon from the igniter and replaced the wall switch. He also put in new glowing embers we had purchased and repositioned the logs.. Also, Deb who made the appointment told us exactly what the service charge would be (very reasonable) and what would be done. She was also very personable and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, a great business. read more

I contacted Fireplace Fix in December 2022, because my fireplace was having difficulties turning on and staying on. The fireplace would take several flicks of the switch to finally turn on, but then would only stay on from anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours, and then shut off. Previous winters there were no issues with getting the fireplace to turn on and stay on all day long. So I definitely wanted to get it fixed. Fireplace Fix sent someone to my house on 12/30/22, and stated the technician would come out and diagnose the issue and quote me for a fix. The technician came out, and took my entire fireplace apart. He took everything out. He spent about an hour at my house. When he was done he explained to me the fireplace needed a flame sensor to be replaced and a module to be replaced. He said he was unsure if the shop had both parts, and said the office would be calling me that afternoon to let me know if they had the parts or if they had to be ordered. He said once he had the parts, we could schedule for him to come back out and replace them. He quoted me $895 for the replacement of both parts. I signed the sales invoice for him coming to the house ($60) before he left. And he said I would be contacted that day about the parts. After he left, the fireplace would not come on. It would make a very loud click click click noise. But would not come on. Before he came out, we at least would be able to use the fireplace even though it wouldn't stay on for very long. So we were unsure what he did while he was here that made the fireplace inoperable completely. Six days went by after the technician left, and still never got any call from the company, despite the tech saying someone would call me same day that he was here. I finally decided to call Fireplace Fix to find out the status since I hadn't heard from anyone yet. A woman answered and told me one of their workers recently had an injury and it put their orders behind. She said she needed to check their shop and see if they had the parts, and that she'd call me right back. Seven days go by. One whole week, with no follow up. I call them again. The same woman answers. She answers and says she's glad I called, but she was currently on the other line with a customer and said she'd call me right back. Well, that was now six weeks ago.... I never got another call back from this company. About two weeks ago I got fed up with waiting, obviously Fireplace Fix did not want my business. So I called another company. Custom Specialties Group (CSG) (702)657-1244, and explained to them that another company had come out and told me my flame sensor and module needed to be replaced. They came out a few days later, with a couple of technicians. I told them what Fireplace Fix had told me. I explained the fireplace did work some before they came out, and it no longer worked at all. The technician with CSG showed me that it appeared the flame sensor had been completely broken in half when he took it out. He said that was why the fireplace would not turn on. So the flame sensor was working when the tech with Fireplace Fix came out, but then was broken during the visit. CSG had a flame sensor on their work truck. They replaced the flame sensor while they were here and showed me that my module for the fireplace was not in need of being replaced at all. CSG showed me that most likely it was only the flame sensor all along that was going out and would have been a very easy fix from the previous company. Within an hour of that visit with CSG, we had a roaring fire going. And the total for the visit and flame sensor replacement was $195 dollars. That's all! So, please explain why Fireplace Fix quoted me almost $900 to replace parts that didn't need to be fix, broke something while they were here, and then never called or showed up to fix our fireplace? This company is a bad joke. I'm so glad they ended up not calling me. Since I was able to get the fireplace replaced for a fraction of the cost. This place shouldn't even be in business. Today is February 22nd, I'm still waiting for fireplace fix to call me back . But definitely no need now. The company should refund my $60 from the visit for the hassle I had to go through. read more

Called Friday morning and spoke with Deb. She was so kind and friendly and took all my information and said Joene would call me back in 10 minutes with a time and day for service on my gas fireplace. In 9 minutes, Joene called and asked if I could be available today between 12-4. I said yes ! She said Camilo the tech would call when he was on his way. Received a call from Camilo about 3:00pm and said he was 10 minutes away. He arrived, diagnosed the problem, took the whole fireplace apart, cleaned, vacuumed, changed out a switch, and it now runs and looks like it's brand new (and it's 20 years old). Camilo was totally awesome. Professional, kind and very informative. Fireplace Fix is the go-to business for your fireplace needs. I highly recommend them and will definitely get my fireplace cleaned every other year. read more

My house was built in 1997 with 3 fireplaces. I needed them made safe and functional. I called a different business, they came and charged me for the estimate and told me that I should replace two of my fireplaces. The replacement cost was prohibitive and the vents that are presently installed would not work with the new fireplaces. they would also need replacing also. I called Fireplace Fix and Mariah came and said he could make the pieces needed and replace the parts. he cleaned all three fireplaces and did the repairs. kudos to Deb and Mariah. We are selling our father's house, and needed to get the gas fireplace working. He never used it, and had turned it off probably about 20 years ago. We had gotten a quote of $250 from a handyman service that we were using for other projects, but we decided that we wanted to go with a fireplace professional. When I spoke with FirePlaceFix, they were friendly and professional. They said that fireplace repairs start at $125 and they do a full cleaning. We were told that most of the time, a good cleaning will get things unclogged and working. It was easy to schedule, and we were the ones that had to push out the date, as we were not available. Since we don't live at the house, the technician, Camilo, called and texted 30 minutes before showing up, although that may be standard procedure. It is much appreciated. He was friendly and was able to get the pilot light on within minutes of setting up his tools. He put down a blanket to lay his tools on, and started checking and cleaning the fireplace. Everything now works, and we hope the new owners enjoy their fireplace. We are a little sad that our house does not have one, as we would call FirePlaceFix in a heartbeat if we needed them again. Thank you! read more

Started out great and I was very excited. I saw a lot of great reviews. They came to give me an estimate for fireglass conversion and "clean" the fireplace. Charged me $120 to clean it and he said he would put the $120 towards the estimate. It didn't look like they cleaned much of it. Looked pretty much the same. They left and I waited for a while for the estimate. I contacted them And she said she would get it to me that same day and I got nothing. Not sure what happened but I ended up getting another company in and my fireplace looks amazing. Kinda bummed about the $120. But I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

And great care was taken in cleaning up a 21-year old fireplace that had not been touched since the house was built. Definitely give them a call if you need service for your fireplace. Don't sleep on having your Gas Fireplace serviced annually! I know, it is not the most exciting way to spend your hard-earned dollars, but well worth money and special attention. Have had some really bad experiences here in town with a number of other companies over the years, so feeling pretty lucky to have come across FireplaceFix. Overall, this is a great company with truly wonderful staff. Deb was super responsive to my request for estimate and after few photos and some QA, we were able to get a service call on the books. The service technician Dennis, was very respectful and took time to explain what he was doing throughout the process. Highly recommend using them, next years service is on my calendar! read more

Mike just left, had my fireplace back in operation quickly. He started with the most simple thing, and didn't try and upsell me on new parts. Turns out it was just my pilot light that was dirty. He cleaned that, and voila! We were back in business. Replaced the wall switch too, which he thought may be acting up too. All covered under the 1 fee! Vacuumed out my fireplace put all the logs and put in new rock wool. Looks as good as it did 17 years ago when it was new! Highly recommended! read more

Well I signed up on yelp to get estimates for a chimney repair. This particular shop couldn't handle my repair but. After talking with the owner on the shop for ten minutes or so. She referred me to another place that does the kind of work I needed. Basically I had a very windy damper situation got so cold in my taproom at times. So I wanted the top sealed. Long story short the owner Deborah of fireplace fix was very kind, helpful and went out of her way to make sure I got the help I needed from another company she referred me too. 1st choice air duct care. I really thought that was awesome to go above and beyond. Her shop fix it fireplace is awesome the work they do on the website pics with fireplace glass n stuff like that is awesome. Also Deborah was one of those people that u feel like you've know forever easy to talk with. We have had them come out on three separate occasions (everything in our fireplace is original to the house, so kind of old) in the past few years. They are quick to respond, quick to schedule, and really great about fixing what can be fixed without trying to up-charge on unnecessary things. This last repair was the first time a potentially expensive repair was mentioned and it was a maybe-prepare-for-it-in-the-future type of thing. We trust them and that is gold with repair companies and repair people. They must treat their employees decently because we have always had the same technician, Josh, who is just lovely; knowledgeable, patient, good at what he does, and personable. When you have to let a tech into the heart of your home, it's nice to feel very comfortable with them. Deb, who handles the calls, is also very warm and friendly. Deb has also been great at getting things scheduled if they are more urgent. The last time we actually had our downstairs heating unit go out only to find the fireplace wouldn't light AND it was a couple of days before holiday guests were arriving. She fit us in to an already full schedule so we could heat the family room in the day or two gap before the HVAC company could get here and I will always remember that. read more
