As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. When we sat at our table, the team member brought over menus and asked if we'd like anything to drink while we looked through the menu. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. There are other options on their menu though, like BBQ items! Meat platters: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Ribs, Hot Links, smoked Chicken Quarters. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. But if they don't correct it, we leave for a while and not come back for years. That's the case this time as well. I loved their Calamari. It was light and delicious. We came here on Wednesday it was rubbery. The marinara was delicious. But the Calamari again was rubbery. The heads with the tentacles were also missing. Fast forward it's Sunday. Ordered the calamari and lasagna. Calamari is rubbery again. The server said they have a new chef and new supplier. We exchanged the calamari for mozzarella sticks. Oil was too hot and the cheese didn't melt. We didn't send it back. My lasagna came out. It had a nice thick piece of garlic bread. It was lovely. The sauce was a meaty sausage marinara. As I continued to eat it, there was a part where it was really spicy. Not a fan. The lasagna was pretty until you cut into it. The pan of lasagna was made in the morning and sits all day. The noodles turn to mush. Not going to recommend coming here for a while. They need a new new chef.

I picked this company based on yelp reviews (!!!) and they responded almost immediately to my request for service on a gas fireplace I said I haven't used since moving in 4+ years ago. The house is about 25 years old, and I said I wanted to make sure it was a) safe to use, b) functioning, and c). I'd be shown how to operate it. The next day the owner and wife came over, pleasant to deal with. Aside from that positive thing, when they were here I noticed that they didn't do much or seem to have any kind of process. There was no "inspection," or anything taken apart or looked other than the pilot cover (or grate or whatever it's called). The fireplace would not turn on with the wall switch and they did change the switch (which was quick) and then it turned on. I asked if the unit should be cleaned and he said "eh, probably not." I mentioned I'd lost family in a fatal fire and was concerned about safety, so I'm not sure how they determined the chimney was safe because nothing was looked at. They did show me how to push the pilot light button and that's it. Whole thing was maybe 20 minutes, then they left, and I zelled them the money. I also messaged that I might refer a friend and right away got a "thanks!" A few hours later, I flipped the fireplace on (fine), looked over 10 minutes later and the flame was out. I messaged them right away - nothing. Three days later sent another message (maybe something extraordinary happened)? - nothing. Two days after that (today) I messaged again - zero rsponse. So .... out a fee, no working fireplace, and would not feel confident that it's safe anyway. IDK the qualifications of this person (I will ASK next time) but their service and communication get an F. My advice is don't use this company and be very careful who services something that could cause a fire (and god knows what else) in your house. This town has flakes and I was just stuck with another one.
