Called the repair shop that replaced the front axle drive shaft and explained what's going on. After following his directive this shop told me ah, must be the transmission and I don't do transmission work. So, I got on my phone and searched for transmission specialist close to me(in La Mirada) A whole list came out, I check many, read the reviews, and this one came out to check, Full Service Auto Repairs 14747 Artesia Blvd Ste 3D La Mirada, CA 90638 714-357-8369 I called and Francis answered, I explained him the issue, and he says I must inspect the vehicle to give you a diagnosis. Do you need towing service to bring the car. So my vehicle was towed to his location that Wednesday afternoon. On Saturday morning Francis contacted me and asked me, "Who replaced your front axle drive shaft? I had it replaced on September the 3rd. Francis informed, me they install the wrong drive shaft. To make it really short, Francis asked me the information of the repair shop that worked in my vehicle. From there he took over, contacted the repair shop owner, explained what he found and caused damages in my car transmission and directly dealed with the other shop. Fortunately, the other shop that replaced the drive shaft, took full responsibility for the repairs needed (drive shaft replacement and transmission repair). Now we must understand this, here is a shop owner communicating directly with other shop owner, something that you will not get from any other Full Service Auto Repairs shop, all in behave of a client. Francis handled this like only a man of God and a person who love and honor his profession, will have done, with total honesty! I picked my Avalon 2007 today afternoon, after business hours, Francis was waiting for me. He handled me a receipt copy for over $6,600 that include 12 months or 12k miles Parts and Labor (he used original Toyota parts). Asked me to signed and release the vehicle to me. He did not charged me one single penny and released my car to me If you are looking for honest, competent, professional, and well equipped full service shop (and I meant, full services repair shop, this is the one! If you find a knowledgeable mechanic (not just a technician, to replace whole parts, not repair) you are lucky! I you need a knowledgeable, professional, honest mechanic (not a technician) with principles and good will on his heart, Francis Full Service Auto Repairs is the only place to go. He repaired my Avalon front drive axle, and basically build up my transmission to brand a brand new performance. I found an honest, knowledgie, profesional Full Size repair shop on Francis and not going back to nobody else.

He replaced the radiator and water pump, repositioned the external transmission cooler, and replaced the tail housing gasket on the transmission. My truck has never run cooler transmission temps than it does now. Francis is very knowledgeable and actually understands how these older trucks heat up when you're towing or sitting in traffic. He explained what he was doing and why instead of just slapping parts on. If you need cooling or transmission work done right, take it to Francis.

Santa Fe Auto Repair - this place misassembled the radiator which caused the cooling water to leak. owner refused to fix it. never coming back here.

He hates for anyone to waste money. He advises against waiting on repair that will result in more necessary work (ex. wait on brakes=expensive rotor repair). He also lets you know when doing work can wait 6 months-year. He will never try to up-sale you on anything. My husband wanted dealer parts and he felt obligated to let us know that non-factory parts also have warranties and are less expensive. Mr. Paul gave my boys tricycle tune-ups when they were small, just to make them feel special. I can go on forever about Mr. Paul's good qualities. So I'll just conclude with this... A mechanic that is knowledgeable, dependable, honest, and inexpensive is such a rare find these days that I would recommend him to everyone I care about.
