From the moment I reached out, Samir responded right away. He is an unbelievably good communicator. Because of scheduling and logistics, we did a lot of texting, and he promptly provided me with a detailed written estimate. Once I chose my color, he handled everything -- purchasing all the paint and supplies, and arriving with his assistant fully prepared. They carefully protected and taped off everything before starting. They were highly efficient, clearly experienced, and paid close attention to every detail. On the first day, they meticulously removed all the cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware, organizing everything carefully in containers. Then they sanded everything thoroughly. They took the doors with them, and just two days later returned to reinstall everything. The finished result is absolutely beautiful. My kitchen looks amazing, and I could not be happier. I would like to separate out the work product from the service aspect. The work product you can seen from the pictures - our bathrooms are transformed. It's one thing to select nice finishes and materials and another thing to install them with care and quality. They delivered on both. Then, there is the service aspect. My wife was late into her pregnancy when we started the work and then we had a newborn and a young child too while the work was being finalized. Samir and team were so conscientious - there were times when we weren't even sure they were there because the were working so quietly. In summary, I discovered Nadir through the website www.rusrek.com, who introduced me to Amir, who provided an insurance for construction crew & a general contractor license for a project. The project started on May 26 and was initially estimated to be completed by the end of the summer. However, there was no formal contract; all communication was verbal. Nadir assured me that the project would be completed within a few months with provided false estimate for a budget. Unfortunately, this was a false promise. He also insisted that I pay approximately 20% of the project's set budget upfront to start the project, which I should not have done, but I was new to renovation and naive at this point. As I had previously discussed with Nadir, I would be living in an apartment and had packed my belongings, including some furniture. The apartment is 1 bedroom approximately 650 square feet I manage store my stuff in corner in living room, which Nadir later used as an excuse to claim that the project was progressing slowly due to "clutter" in my apartment. The project included some demolition That should be done in first few weeks but took nearly 45 days, construction trash was stored in my apartment as well but it was also discussed that it will be taken recycled... Description of project Hallway: removal of clothed space from the entryway, the arch between the living room, hallway/kitchen, IKEA wardrobe cabinets installed, primed/painted walls ceiling, Installed 8 dot lights and 2 few switches. Bathroom: removal of the bathtub, creation of a shower area with the same drainage, the replacement of the toilet in the same location without plumbing changes, and the installation of a new hanging toilet, tilling of shower area and floor in whole bathroom, primed/painted walls ceiling Living room: installation of a new entry for the bedroom door, exposed brick wall, 4 window sills & frames were replaced,two door frames were also installed, primed/painted walls ceiling,molding on the ceilings for curtains, few new outlets for TV, one switch and 10 for lights. Bedroom: exposed brick wall,primed/painted walls ceiling, molding on the ceilings for curtains, 6 dot lights and few outlets/one switch Kitchen: Floor and backsplash tiling, 8 cabinets installed, 4 dot lights and few extra outlets. Ceilings and walls did not require significant levelling it was originally fine and needed only prime and new paint The renovation project is ongoing, but there have been several delays and issues. The crew has been inconsistent in their attendance, working only two days a week despite the construction building hours of 9-5. The bathroom renovation was delayed for several weeks after the bathtub and toilet were removed without further action, i was without function shower and toilet for close to 2 month!! The kitchen renovation has also been significantly delayed, taking nearly two months to complete. It is suspected that an employee hired by Amir exploited the project's lack of a contract to take advantage of the situation. Despite my concerns, Amir dismissed my complaints and assured me that everything was progressing according to plan. He also referred to me as "Bro," when I complained about project being delayed and not meet estimate we set to , despite the fact that I am his client and he has never been directly involved in the project but general construction license is under his name. He also told me that I have to be happy that Nodir doing this for me and I should be "jumping in happiness" because apparently those type of projects cost way more that I had budged for, even though at the time I was already over budget which also Nodir lied about estimate! I have pet camera on the feeder and a video door bell to be able to analyse an crew activities, everything is well documented and I'm well aware who and how many hours were spend doing an job they suppose to. I also attached some pictures for judgment Poor paint job, unfinished brick walls, installed moldings on floor without filling gaps on cricket walls, chipping tiles...inability open widow in bathroom to clean it out. **Warning to Potential Clients:** I urge potential clients to thoroughly research contractors before hiring them to avoid similar experiences and please if you looking to work with this company even if you're building doesn't require contract, please do it.
