I was befriended by what I consider now a shade tree back yard wades paint and body located at 4712 5 Notch rd Marshall Tx 75672 I told one of the employees from that shop I had s coolant line from the transmission malfunction i called what I thought was a professional mechanic at wades paint and body shop after the first payment of work being done 180.00 and the second payment of 300.00 now they wat 2500.00 fo a motor when I noticed the transmission fluid in the radiator I called and and took it down and I am a backyard mechanic but I said to John make sure you flush everything out and replace the radiator the first time it come back to the house I had nothing but transmission fluid in my radiator again the third time he brought it back to the house I went to start it and the engine was nicking so loud that I New right then what I was dealing with the moral of the story is it would've cheaper to take my vehicle to my senil uncle that is 83 years old and left him have fun be aware ther's not one certificate of completion of any mechanical know how in that shop tha I seen.

Had it 5 weeks and all that was done was put new parts on and did a poor job at that. Tried to cover up bad work by applying masking tape and leaving bolts out. Lied about driving the truck and making sure everything was good, my wife picked it up and the track bar was left loose making it dangerous to drive. If I could leave a negative star review I would.

He mislead our 17 year old daughter then when she purchased a used car from him two days later she began having major issues with the vehicle. Electrical malfunctions and Over Heating. He was made aware and she requested a refund. He promised to give her another vehicle, gave us the run around, ignored our calls and then asked her how much money is she willing to loose. She was 17 and a college student. Now he refuses to do anything. She was a minor at the time she purchased the vehicle and legally he must refund her money but he refuses and told us to take him to court or do whatever we have to do, he doesn't care. She has had to postpone her classes in college do to this situation and no transportation. We gave him time to rectify this situation and now will begin legal procedures to recuperate our daughters hard earned money. After I, her mother, contacted Armstrong yet again to let him know that the vehicle had broken down on our daughter, and what steps we would take if no refund was issued, Armstrong began shouting obscenities on the phone and said "do what you have to do, take me to court, I don't care" and hung up.
