This burrito wasn't just big--it was the size of a rolled-up beach towel. Smothered in enough enchilada sauce to cause a mild identity crisis (am I a burrito or am I an enchilada?), it arrived like a saucy, delicious torpedo of joy. First bite? Angels sang. Second bite? My taste buds did a backflip and applied for citizenship in this restaurant. The place is tiny--think "cozy taco chapel"--but what it lacks in size it makes up for in flavor bombs and the magical ability to make you forget your problems (and your diet). If you're looking for a fancy ambiance, keep walking. If you're looking for a burrito so good it makes you question your life choices and maybe text your ex just to brag--you found your spot.

We meet for lunch but my partner and I stopped for dinner tonight , so yummy! We both ordered the shrimp and scallop fajitas and a pitcher of frozen margaritas. Our waiter was polite, efficient and an all around good guy. Food was so good! Neither one of us could finish so we got to go boxes, plus we had both finished our tortillas and ordered more before we decided we were full, those went in our boxes too. We did order queso to go with our complimentary chips and salsa. Of course we finished the queso. I cannot recommend La Fragua enough, whether it's dinner or lunch, it can't be beat. Prices are good too! We will be back!

No hi - hello- welcome to panchos, she said "Drinks?" Very dry unfriendly voice without even looking at us. Like seriously! Again monotone computer like, are you ready to order? We said no, she turned and walked away. My husband and I looked at one another, let's just have this drink and go. The place wasn't very busy with several staff so she wasn't behind or being rushed. Got our drinks and ordered queso. My frozen margarita came with a flashing light. Server asked if we were ready to order, we let her know we wanted to wait a little bit to order. Not even 5 minutes later she came back to take our orders. My husband and I hadn't really looked at the menu, opened first page, I went with the street chicken tacos, he went with the steak tacos/beef. You always know how good a Mexican spot is with something as simple as tacos - right? 2 minutes later as I saw our server coming with our tacos I knew they were not going to be good. Def not enough time to grill legit street tacos. Yes they were far from street tacos. The meat in our tacos compared to meat sitting in a crockpot. Not one piece of chicken or steak ever touched a grill to make them street tacos. Within minutes the tortillas were soaked and tacos were falling apart. I was very highly disappointed. It was basically pulled chicken with seasoning. I ate half of one and could not even keep the taco together to finish and didn't even bother to pick up the second one as it was already a soggy disaster. No dessert for us. Not sure how anyone raves about this place. Decided our panchos experience had been fulfilled at this point.

My wife and I are staying at the Mount Gilead State Park, and we wanted to go out to eat. Honestly,…read morethis is probably the best restaurant in Mount Gilead. That said, the interior is a little tacky and worn, but the food and service are terrific! My wife ordered a à la carte chicken enchilada and a side of rice while I ordered their shredded chicken taco and chicken tortilla soup. All four dishes were huge and delicious! I did need to add a little kicker to the salsa but all things considered, it was pretty good! The chicken tortilla soup had a huge amount of chicken in it, accompanied by fresh fried tortilla bits. Combined with the salad, it was more than enough for a wonderful dinner!

Taco tortilla was cooked to perfection and they were packed with an adequate amount of meat, cheese, cilantro, and onion. They brought out a huge amount of the consommé dipping broth plus charged me $2.50 for that. Personally, anytime someone orders Quesabirria tacos, I think it should automatically come with the dipping consommé rather than charge for a portion that is 10X the amount needed. I did appreciate that they served the consommé with a spoon as u love to open the taco and spoon the consommé inside of the taco before eating. Flavor was good and I didn't feel like the price for just one (or two in my case) was overpriced for the quality. I will certainly be back for these! The salsa they served with the chips does have a bit of a bite for house salsa so be aware of that!

I ordered the chimichanga with shredded beef! It was very tasty and flavorful and the presentation was excellent. This restaurant is very festive looking and the environment is casual but nice. The food looked amazing and the taste was below any authentic Mexican food I have had and I have had a lot from different areas of the country. This was by far the worst of the worst. Our server was okay but we asked for a manager as our gringo sampler was missing several items, my son's steak was overcooked and extremely fatty , the Birria tacos that I ordered were bland as if in not even a salt shaker was attempted, and there was absolutely no flavor to the consume. The onion rings on the gringo sampler tasted like they were fried in old grease. The only thing that was good on there was the queso. We asked for a manager and we advised that there was no manager there. Eventually a gentleman came over and I'm using that term lightly and asked us if we had a question so we explained our concerns and our issues.
