Seeing Dr. LeBauer has been a life saver and saved me from having a surgery I did not want but I…read morewas not finding any relief from the pain and tingling. I was at the end of my rope and on the verge of scheduling the surgery. My sister recommended him to me and I am so glad i called him. His treatments provided the relief from my pain. I first came to Dr. LeBauer in October of last year. At that time I was limited in what I could do in my daily activities from the pain in my arm and neck from my herniated disc. I had tried many different forms of treatment- traction, physical therapy, and epidural cortisone shots. All of those relieved my symptoms some but not to the lasting effect that treatment from Dr. LeBauer has provided. I had pain in my neck at about a 4 out of 10, unrelenting aching/ burning pain in my upper right arm, my arms went numb when I would sleep, and I was unable to exercise or read a book. The myofascial release is a godsend. Dr Lebauer is very knowledgable, understanding, and explains things in a comprehensible manner. He has a very calming demeanor and quickly put me at ease. Since I have been seeing him, there has been a 180 degree turn in my life. I am now completely back to my old life. I have no trouble with daily activites, I can exercise, read a book, and sleep with ease. The pain in my neck is gone. The pain in my arm is gone. The numbness and tingling has vanished. I regained range of motion in my neck that I thought I had permanently lost. I am so thankful I found Dr. LeBauer. He has given me my life back. If you are in constant pain, give him a call. You won't regret it !!!!

My need to revisit my healing through Chiropractic led to the recommendation to Salama from my brother, and my last almost three months of care from Dr. Michele Kin, and from Dr. Edgerton while Dr. Kin was away from the office, have rekindled the awareness of the healing process by way of these professionals and myself. At my age of 60, I am more aware now of the needs of my mind and body in creating a better me, and the complete program Dr. Kin has provided in the balance of my body, as well as in the therapy of adjustment and maintenance, enable me to move forward in developing an improved attitude toward treating myself better. I look forward to more of the excellent care from Dr. Kin, and through Professional Assistants Sarah, Victoria and Ebony, whose hard work on my behalf in my workout, and my scheduling and insurance, I know my program will not only include the continued better results of my healing, there will be more avenues I will pursue in aerobics and weight training to take advantage of the work of Salama. I am very grateful for the fine works of the Lawndale Office, and thank you all.

Dr. Sarvar Pathan A…read moreReview by a Patient, Dr. Bose Ravenel My perspective for assessing Dr. Pathan's professional and personal competence is the following: I am a recently retired pediatrician after 31 years in private pediatric practice, 11 years in academic pediatric medicine, and culminating in 6 1/2 years practicing Integrative Medicine pediatric consulting. Over my 48 1/2 year career I have been privileged to know and work with a large number of skilled and highly regarded physicians. Dr. Sarvar certainly belongs in this league of health professionals. My wife first saw Dr. Sarvar regarding post-surgery rotator cuff concerns followed by a personalized program to address additional areas after he had started his own practice. I observed from her experience how his approach is so personalized and targeted at specific objectives. Equally important I saw how invested in his patients he is - reflected in a degree of availability rare in these times, as well as outstanding communication. At my wife's encouragement, I decided to have an initial assessment, even though at 82 years of age I was not having any pain or other known physical limitations. My first session proved to be a fascinating experience. Having had a recent minor tennis strain injury shortly before the appointment, he designed a program for stretching tight muscle groups and to engage in active healing for the injury. The results were amazing when at the 30- day follow-up my former 28 cm limit from forward-bending touching the floor had decreased to 12 cm. A subsequent program was designed to promote continued improvement in flexibility and balance, while adding some strength-building. All this was designed to achieve a more functional ability to engage in specific sports activities such as tennis, golf, and trout fishing. He is one of the most engaged, dedicated, and skilled professionals I have ever gotten to know and worked with. His knowledge of anatomy, function, and how to design interventions for patient concerns to reach one's goals for improvement is simply amazing. His personality is delightful and he is the ultimate encourager! I heartily recommend Dr. Sarvar without reservation for any physical therapy and wellness needs. I'm always encouraged to be a part of the massage plan, let them know how this feels or how that's working for me. Due to my regular person not being available when I was due for my appointment, I was encouraged to get an appointment with Allie since she'd had a cancellation that afternoon. My back was in need of some major help so I jumped at the chance! As soon as we were talking and working out how to help my back, I knew Allie was going to be my Massage Person! She knew exactly what kind of pain I was dealing with because she had similar experiences. This angel of mercy worked on my back and she was switching up the plan so I had several "hot spots" go back to being just "spots"! She was so knowledgeable regarding pressure points and muscle configurations. I left feeling way more better than I was going into my appointment. The people in this office have been friendly and kind from the moment I go through the front door until I'm headed back out the door, always feeling so much better!

After several months of physical therapy things had gotten marginally better, but new issues like sciatica on my left side began popping up. After seeing 5 different doctors and getting "answers" like: "your calves are tight, but I don't know what else to tell you"... "if you're shifting your weight to one side that's just something to improve with being more mindful"... or my personal favorite, "if you're having balance issues it could be neurological"... I was left confused, frustrated, and exhausted. Then I came to Salama. We took x-rays of my back my first visit and it immediately showed the root of the cause; my pelvis was shifted dramatically to the left- causing an imbalance at my body's foundation. Here I feel heard. They take the time to answer all of my questions- offering up various stretches and exercises to try along with the adjustments. I feel tremendously better- something that I was starting to doubt was possible. I rant and rave about this place and chiropractics as a whole to anyone who will listen.
