The crew and owner are real professionals. I work in Safety and observed how they wore the correct safety gear, and took the time to properly set up and break down. The cost was great and they came back once to make sure we were 1000% happy. I have some incredibly large trees and expect to call them every 2-3 years for trimming. Two hours later they showed up and did a great job!! Last week I called them in the morning to have a couple of trees removed. They showed up in the afternoon and promptly removed the trees !!!! Lost a large willow in our back yard and invited a few local tree services to offer me a quote. By far I felt the most comfortable with Absolute's quote. Not only was their price "reasonable", but they were prompt, professional and true to their word. John, the owner of the company, came by when the work was complete to make sure I was satisfied. While he was here, we walked my property and he made suggestions to prolong the healthy growth of several other trees. I accepted his quote to "trim, deadwood,prune and raise" several additional trees both in the front and back of our home. I had an old 35ft dieing cottonwood in my backyard I needed removed and had several companies out to qoute me on removal ranging from $850-1500 in price. I decided to go w/ the $850 quote I recieved but after the time lapsed on when that company said they would be out, I decided to have Absolute give me a quote. Firstly, I was very happy with the way they gave the qoute- provided it in writing via email and also included thier insurance documents. Update on previous review. We had a lightening strike on a Sunday morning. My husband called numerous companies and John was the first to respond. His crew came out and tied a rope on a large branch that was hanging over our home and said they would be back by 3. At 6pm, the branch fell on our home after my husband had called several times to be "reassured" that the branch was secure. The crew eventually came and pulled the tree from the house after many heated conversations and the tree was taken down the next day. They left large logs in the yard that we had to take care of also. Ov er all, I have used this company three times. Two times, they were great. This time I think they promised more than the crew wanted to do on a Sunday morning. read more

We have dealt with several different tree services over the years and this is the first time I was smiling as I wrote the check! John and his team were amazing! Quick estimate, clearly written to show exactly what was being done, quick service date (even with Comed involved), and on time the day they scheduled to perform the work! There was a fleet of trucks from Absolute and Comed in front of the house before 9 am. They cut down huge trees over the power line, one snuggled into a tight space between a shed and a fence. They even respectfully removed a portion of a neighboring fence to complete the job (with wonderful clean-up and fence secured). Not one portion of the trees coming down were left to "fall" to the ground. Every cut piece was tied off securely and lowerd in a controlled manner. Companies I used in the past had left divets in the lawn from heavy falling portions of trees. These men are amazing and know what their doing. I wish it was warmer for them, as they worked tirelessly all day in temperatures that had us shivering. I feel better with our little one in the yard knowing winds arent going to bring down deadly branches, and their clean up was impeccable. These men were polite, extremely professional in all communications before, during and after. WOW! A company who truly lives the meaning of customer service! So rare these days! I always admired the way my neighbors trees have been maintained, and I am so glad I asked her what company she uses. Good prices and fantastic work...
