I was referred to Philip from another military spouse who went to him also. I had a picture of some purple I wanted to add into my hair. He was able to get me in on a Saturday the next week. And this was also my first time with a professional so I was a little nervous. But he is so sweet and so much fun. We were talking and laughing the whole time. He was gentle with my hair, and I wasn't uncomfortable at all. The salon is cozy and you can tell everyone enjoys their job. My hair was sooooo soft still even after all the treatments needed to lighten it and re-color it. I was a light brown before. And before I left, he mixed me a bottle of the fancy Lanza conditioner with the purple color mixed it to help the color stay longer, and gave me a bottle of the styling gel he used which is amazing as well. I went back in a couple months later and even he was surprised at how well the color stuck. The purple barely faded, and the darker brown faded to a nice shade of brown that still complimented the purple. I have another appointment next week to get more purple put it, and really bring the color out. I recommend him to anyone that asks for hair stylists. read more

First of all, I am giving a 5 star review for BOTH services I had done at Absolute Spa. I made an appointment with Heather to have a cut/color/brow wax. My hair turned out better than I could have imagined! Super professional, and the salon is cute and chic. I was so overdue for a haircut and color, and Heather made me feel like a new girl! NEXT: I have been on the hunt for a good Brazilian wax for over a year now, but that isn't something you announce on Facebook to ask friends or family...but as far as Yelp reviews, there hasn't been much about waxing places in GF so here goes! I had my first Brazilian done in Bozeman, and she rocked! Super fast, friendly and experienced. I booked an appointment shortly after that with a person at a "high end salon" here in Great Falls....that wax was the reason people are afraid to get waxes! She reused the sticks and took forever. 45 minutes later and I was bleeding and I felt like my whole vajay-jay was on fire. Had my next wax in Missoula...which was awesome...but it's not feasible for me to run back and fourth from GF to Missoula or Bozeman for a wax. Back to square one...maybe not! Today, I stumbled across Stephanie, while I was having my haircut with Heather at Absolute Salon. While my hair was processing I shot her a text and she was available today (lucky for me!!). Stephanie is very nice, her area was neat and clean and I was comfortable right off the bat. My whole Brazilian took right about 15 minutes from start to finish. She definitely knows what she's doing. I'm excited to have found someone in GF, and so is my husband lol!! Ps. I would just like to add that I am a plus-sized woman...so getting a wax like this was very intimidating for me at first.
