I was delighted to find Studio Montage open one evening when I intended to get dinner at thr neighboring Rib & Chop house. I made my appointment for a Saturday afternoon haircut with Kelsi. Kelsi listened to my tales of bad haircuts so patiently and we had time to talk about the style I wanted--asymmetrical a-line, and even showed her some previous good haircuts I had. At first, she was going very conservative with the amount cut off, but we both realize that I have too much hair and need to pivot with removing volume via texturizing scissors without sacrificing the shape. The haircut in its final form is, as the kids these days say...VERY DEMURE, VERY MINDFUL. I look good. He is a creative, professional stylist and knows his line very well. He teaches you about caring for your cut, style and color and spends the time that's needed and you don't feel rushed or pressured into making a hair mistake.
