I have a lot of joint issues-lower back, neck, hip, & both elbows. A doctor friend of mine referred me here several years ago, but I kept putting it off. When my hip pain became almost constant & the Chiropractor wasn't helping, I decided to try it. I started with 3 private lessons on the equipment & was amazed that Kelly Letalien, the owner & a nurse, knew my hip pain was due to tight muscles, and how to fix it. It helped quickly. She is also great at making sure you do the exercises correctly so you don't injure yourself. I take a mix of mat & equipment classes from multiple instructors and love them all. I won't re-hash the previous review, but I will say that I pleased with the response and attention given to my concern. All to which, just adds to the positive vibe I got prior to the one isolated experience. I got a call from one of the owners and she respectfully listened to me after letting me know that she takes the reviews very serious and is concerned about my safety and the safety of her patrons. The owner Kathy Hopper is the ultimate professional. Kathy makes it a point to remember everyone's name and if applicable physical limitations and injuries. All of the instructors are welcoming and friendly. Lagree can be tough but it's so rewarding. It's a full body workout and very efficient. You get an excellent mix or resistance training and cardio. Came back with a friend for a Pilates Reformer flow 1 class and am raising my review to 5 stars…read more You can tell the studio has become much more established since the last time I visited (when they were just opening). When you come in you are checked in quickly and you can pick any Reformer you'd like. My class was taught by Kevin Cardone who is an excellent instructor. He walked around the room and made proper adjustments as needed. He was a very attentive instructor and was always very clear about the different things you needed to do for each exercise. I appreciated that, as many studios just leave you to figure things out yourself. The workout was excellent and at the same time low impact, which is great! I definitely felt the workout the day of and day after. I believe there is an option to try out classes without committing to a monthly plan and that's what I'd suggest everyone do. While the intro class gives you an idea of what Pilates reformer is, I don't think I could really appreciate the awesomeness of the class until I participated in a full class. Love that the fitness options in this area are growing!
