The young lady at the check in desk was very sweet. They have lockers positioned in the front, which is convenient for you to put your things in there. They sell water and energy drinks if needed. The studio is very clean and very well kept as well. Amanda was my instructor and what a joy she was. I was very nervous as it was my first time taking a Pilates class. Not to mention , I signed up (unbeknownst to me at the time) one of the harder classes. I thought to myself, yikes! Maybe I should come back to a beginner's level class. But Amanda was so encouraging, and informed me I could modify some movements, and she mentioned that she would position me near some folks who are pretty seasoned and would be able to help if I needed some guidance. I didn't know exactly what I was expecting, but that class kicked every ounce of my butt, but in the same breath, I will also say it's probably the best workout I have ever done. I worked parts of my body that I didn't even know existed lol! There were so many moments throughout the class that I thought to myself... Can I make it through? But Amanda was right there cheering me on and motivating me every moment of the way. This definitely exceeded my expectations for a first time Pilates experience. As difficult as the workout was for me... I made it through :) and since I was so proud that I did, I booked myself another class next week. I have to give another kudos to Amanda, I think having the right instructor when it comes to any workout class, plays a big part on your ability to push yourself through.

Over the past week, the additional classes I took had the same great & some intense Instructors with the same objective of pushing you to finish strong. One Instructor had me say a few choice words to myself after class, yet all with love & light. & only after the next day of recovery - LOL. The encouraging emails after your class simply rock...or should I say glide? I give myself a B- for showing up & returning with no shame in taking breaks during class to recalibrate my lower back/core, hence why I'm here. Agreed that the membership prices are a little steep. However, the 2 Week Unlimited offer is the right opportunity to learn a new fitness regime & boost your overall health before making any commitments. Regardless of which Instructor is at the front desk everyone is welcoming & engaging while motivating you not to walk out the door - *smile*. Very good client service across the "Sweatlana" board.

I love it now and am obsessed with how time-saving the workouts are and how simple they are to book. ***Location: Right at the Perimeter near the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody line. I love that it is walking distance from my place, so I can get a mini warm up in, walking over to the place. I don't need parking, but there is a huge lot shared with all of the businesses in the shopping center and there are plenty of spots! ***Staff: The new owner, Ann Marie and the new manager, Hattie are both super nice! I hadn't heard of this place previously, as I recently moved to the area, but I see that there are lots of negative reviews from a while back, but glad to see that it is under new management and all of the staff is amazing and welcoming! They helped me get set up with my membership and walked me through everything and answered all of my questions. ***Experience: Great experience! I have been several times now and still need to try soo many of the workouts, but I really love the Hot Blast and have done that several times. I also like doing the Hot Yoga right after, to get a longer workout in, that is still way less time than I would have spent doing cardio and yoga in a traditional gym. When you sign up they show you how to login and use the app. It is super simple to book your time slots. Each room can fit up to 3 people, but I believe they are still only taking 2 per room for social distancing. You can see on the app though if anyone has already booked. I went very early the other morning and it was super nice because there was only one other person working out in a different room, so it was very nice to have the sauna room to myself. I also went before opening, so I used my code to get in. It is a 24 hour gym so it is perfect if you are looking to go really early or late! Each session starts on time. You can see the schedule times on the app, but the HIIT sessions are on 15 min loops and the Isometric on 30. You can go in, adjust the temp and just follow the workout that starts automatically on the screen. I love that it isn't intimidating and they show different options for different levels, but the added heat makes you sweat and you still get out of your house to go. I feel like fitness programs at home don't really keep you accountable, but here, you still go in and people could still potentially be in the room or walk by, so there is somewhat accountability to actually follow the routine, but no pressure to be perfect since it is just you and the screen. I definitely like that for the yoga. I am still learning all of the moves, so a couple of them still need work lol. ***Amenities: There are showers, water fountains, vending machines, towels, shelves for your things, lockers for rent, 24 hour access, and a whole workout section in the back where you can do cross training in addition to the sauna workouts! ***Prices: 59$ a month and when you sign up you pay 100$ which includes your mat and towel, which are very nice and you do need them so that they won't melt in the rooms. There are plenty of promotions throughout the year from what I see, so I think you can sometimes get a deal to sign up, but the price per month is not bad at all for a 24 hour gym that has classes + the infrared sauna aspect! ***Improvements: The only thing I don't like is that I find it hard to watch the screen in front of you when doing the yoga positions and I imagine it is the same for pilates, etc. But it isn't a huge deal if you go regularly, once you have the routine down, you won't need to really look to see how they are doing it, you can just listen. I do definitely like to book times when no one else is there though, to be sure at least for the yoga that I am in my own room!

Since the place is 24hrs thats important to me. They have a security guard that patrols and a life alert-like system that you can activate if you feel like you need emergency assistance. I found out that they have aqua rowers and I couldn't wait to try them since I love rowing. The dual handles really provide more range of motion options for working out your arms. I loved it. I look forward to coming back and trying more classes.

My balance, strength, and energy have all improved greatly thanks to Gabrielle and Saran Pilates.

They baited and switched me and now are harassing me to pay them when I never even had an appointment. I wanted to book an appointment while on a work trip, before heading to the airport. The Stretchlab online calendar had an appointment opening I wanted and the website prompted me to check out online. I paid online within a few minutes, but the website no longer showed the appointment as available. I called them to schedule and nobody picked up. 15 minutes later I get a welcome text from them to book an appointment. I then texted back to ask for a refund since I had to make a flight, to which they responded that there are NO REFUNDS, and I could use my credit next time I'm in town. I don't live in ATL and do not know when I'll back so this wasn't acceptable. I called my credit card company who disputed the charges for me since I never received a service and they were reversed out. I was ready to move on with life but a month later, Stretchlab emails me saying I owe them $25 for a charge reversal, which is clearly not the consumer's liability. The stupidity of all of this is that if they admitted to the website's scheduling error and allowed my cancellation, processing my refund would've cost them 2-3%. Instead, they forced me to request a chargeback since they never provided me with a service and that costs them much more. Where they are wrong is having a policy to pass these charges to the consumer. I am filing complaints with the Georgia BBB and Consumer Protection Department and will be posting my story on any and all social media review sites so consumers are forewarned about this place.
