Happy to find a place offering a relaxing experience. Liked the eye brow arch and tint and the ambience. It truly has the feel of a spa. Now I paid more than double what I pay at my regular nail shop. And don't believe the timer for nails to dry. One of my nails is quite smudged. Not a big deal, given the clear nail polish. But I will wait longer next time. Overall, this is where I will go for a treat. Will stick to my regular spot for maintenance. Update: Next day I discovered a nice size welt above my eye lid after the brow wax. Never happens at my regular salon. Of course this is right before I am leaving town. . Going to have to figure out how to hide this thing. Overall, great ambience but I will not be back for a wax. Really disappointed. I thought I had found my treat spa. read more

I wanted a new look to start the 2019 year, so why not eyelash extensions. I booked a last minute appointment with Erin in January and have been going every three weeks since that appointment. I love the look the eyelashes provide and I get so many compliments. The first appointment was two hours but I listened to music and used the time to relax. It is a nice space- but I had the weirdest massage here. It was a hot stone massage and the girl put the hot stones under me, didn't use them to massage , it was pretty uncomfortable to lay on stones during the massage. Also she talked the entire treatment, which was not relaxing at all,I would try not to answer but she just kept chattering on. This was about a year ago so maybe the tech is gone now, I would probably give them another shot but not with the girl who did my treatment! read more

Fantastic!! Becky, an aesthetician there for roughly seven years-- is fantastic. I've been going to her there ever since she started, and she is wonderful! Very talented, and very sweet. By far one of the best that I've seen. As someone with extremely sensitive skin, she's the only person there who doesn't make my eyes water every time! Other than Becky- it's still a great place to go. The makeup artists/teachers, manicurists, massage therapists-- they're all wonderful. A great place to go for any event! Side note, they accept checks, cash, and credit cards. They also SOMETIMES accept walk-ins, although I believe it's fairly rare that they'll have a time slot open. They are extremely accommodating with new clients & calling in to schedule an appointment. read more

This was a phenomenal place! I had a facial with Erin and it was wonderful! The ambiance was perfect, the skill, care and kindness was unmatched. I was shocked at how good the signature facial was, even down to the smallest details! They dim the lights, have spa music and the bed was so comfortable!! They keep the lights dark throughout the whole process and when they are done and do not turn them on or startle you with waking up. They let you RELAX! I was excited to try this place out. I prefer to work with local businesses whenever I can and I didn't want to go to some hoity toity Brookfield spa. However, after the incredibly rude treatment by the staff at Absolute Necessities there is no way that I will ever come back. They were able to fit me in for a body wrap the same week I called them and were absolutely charming to work with at first. However when I developed a horrible cold the day before and contacted them when I woke up the following day I was informed that I "wasted the aesthetician's time" by canceling. Excuse me, you work in a customer service industry. Unlike other industries, being pleasant to your customers is your livelihood. Furthermore It is not my (the customer's) job to worry about how your salon handles staffing. If your aesthetician "wasted her time" hanging around the salon until my appointment that's an internal issue, not mine. I could have been one of those thoughtless clients who does a no-call, no-show. Because I didn't want to be one of those people and I DIDN"T want to "waste" other people's time, I called and cancelled as a courtesy. I was rewarded for my efforts by being treated like a no-call, no-show. I was in no way obligated to call at all and to be treated with such rudeness in response is inexcusable. Here's a tip: customer satisfaction in a service industry, especially the beauty industry, IS an "absolute necessity". If you are rude to me, someone who is supposed to pay you a large wad of my hard-earned cash to perform intimate work on my body, you can rest assured that I will NEVER waste MY time and money on a establishment which treats its customers in this manner. I am glad that I did not waste my time and money on this place. I'll go to Brookfield, where they have a better grasp on what the concept of customer service is. Next time, take the customer's credit card number and if she cancels within that 24 hour window, charge $25 and politely thank her for notifying you. Or, don't charge her. But by all means, be POLITE. read more

I made an appointment for a massage and was able to get in the next day. I am a new client and was very impressed with all of the staff. My massage was great! The massage therapist was Amber P and she was FANTASTIC. I got the 30 min massage and I was able to do it over my lunch hour. I wish I would have got the full hour!
