We called Absolute Inspections to have our home completely inspected before our new home warranty expired. Kevin Weiss was extremely professional. He was right on-time, answered all my questions and was very polite. He took his time to look at all the areas and went into extra detail on areas that I thought might be issues. Within a day or 2 I received a ~40page written report covering all areas of our home. It included pictures and details, as well as the rules and regulations and apply to each area. Any issues that he found were not only mentioned in the applicable section of the report, but also listed for quick review at the end. He found things I would have never dreamed about looking for. Because of the pictures and clear descriptions I was able to specifically tell the company what needed to be fixed. There were issues on there that the warranty guy had never even heard of. I liked that because it meant that Absolute Inspections was finding things that other people don't. And he wasn't just looking for the most common problems...he found everything. And again when the contractors came to fix it, I could show them clear pictures of exactly what needed to be done. There was no confusion or trying to make me feel like I don't know what I'm talking about. I would use Absolute Inspections again for any of my inspection needs and would definitely recommend them to others! read more

Kevin inspected two homes for us in our home-buying process. The first one we walked away from our earnest money based on Kevin's report and were happy we'd learned the state of the property before we were out of our option period. On both inspections Kevin was prompt, complete, had a sharp eye for trouble spots, and did a good job providing a balanced understanding of the risks and possible costs associated with houses of the that age. In addition to the written reports, Kevin called us (we are out of town buyers), and make sure we understood the scope and limitations of the risks mentioned. He helped guide us in deciding what to ask the sellers to repair, what to take money for, and what to just expect to have to fix in a few years. Kevin's knowledge, in depth descriptions and professionalism improved the always-fraught house buying process easier and more predictable, which was our goal. I would recommend him for any home inspection. read more

Kevin was extremely thorough, helpful, and very professional. He was flexible with our timeframes, arrived on time, and the final report was outstanding. The report was helpful in finding issues and in noting items that may need to be checked further by other experts. The pictures and background info on items, and what the possible effects could be of not correcting any deficiencies, was invaluable info. His report was comprehensive and offered pictures so we could show the sellers exactly where the problems were. This assisted us in negotiating a credit from the sellers. In addition, Kevin proactively offered a subsequent phone call and patiently answered all of our questions for an hour while not rushing us through the phone call. I would recommend Kevin and Absolute Inspections without hesitation. read more

Kevin is very professional and spent a lot of time looking for issues and took photos as he did it. I also followed and learned when he spotted an issue. He explained what he saw and advised what might be done by the builder. Within 48 hours a very detailed report (with photos) was emailed to me. This will allow me to highlight what is needed by the builder to cover my 11 month inspection that is coming up soon. I strongly recommend such an inspection independent of the builder's inspection. " I also gave you an "A" in each category. I know my neighbor has already set up an appointment with you too. I like the way you work and how you did the inspection not to mention the advice you gave me. read more

I just had Absolute Inspections perform a home warranty inspection my new one year old home Roanoke Texas in May 2020. A high tech drone was used to inspect the roof and infrared imaging was used to identify other items within the home. Turns out Kevin found many defects with my home I was not aware of. After Absolute provided their detailed inspection report I had many questions about "norms". Kevin quickly answered my questions. These items are currently being repaired by my builder. Would highly recommend Kevin of Absolute Inspections to anyone needing an inspection. Very professional. read more

Kevin is an Absolute Inspections champion. I have purchased several properties over the years and he was by far the most thorough and informative I have found. He spent a great deal of time and wrote up a factual report that helped me in resolving issues with the seller prior to agreeing to purchase. Fun fact, the residence has a difficultly accessible third floor roof. He used a drone to provide great images of the design and condition of the roof. Without this I would probably have never known what my roof looked like. Great service! read more

Kevin did an exceptional job inspecting our new construction home right before the 1-year warranty was about to expire. He did a very thorough job and found many issues that had they not been addressed prior to the 1-year mark, it would have resulted in costly repairs that I would have been responsible for. Kevin said more times than not the inspection fee pays for itself when a home is still under warranty and he was certainly correct about that. Great job and would highly recommend his services. Your inspection was exceptionally helpful in uncovering issues with the mechanics of my house under contract. We were able to secure an amendment to the purchase agreement to assure the completion of many repairs that were still needed. Our safety was the biggest concern and as a result of your thorough observations, the sellers agreed to repair/replace 20+ items. Thanks so much! read more
