We worked for months to buy a house. The seller wanted to do the deal. We wanted to do the deal. The problem was that the house was underwater with a reverse mortgage serviced by NOVAD. Without the help of ACG, we never would have gotten this deal done. Don't try and do this on your own. Novad never returned our last emails or voicemails. It was impossible to even get the simplest questions answered. Within a week, ACG was able to get the communication going and negotiate a deal. Thank you read more

HAPPY CLOSING DAY!! Shouting from the rooftops over this one! Seven months ago I began my journey with this transaction. It has been wrought with road blocks the size of mountains and at times it seemed like it was not possible to make it all happen. However, together with Alexandra Jallabert, my friend, colleague and the best Short Sale Negotiator on the planet, we made it work against all odds. Together we helped to relieve almost a million dollars in mortgage and hoa debt for our Seller. We also helped our Buyers achieve the home of their dreams. Absolutely amazing victory for everyone involved in this transaction. Im so overwhelmed with happiness and relief. Alex we did it!! Do not hesitate to work with ACG!! read more

Brett Goldsmith is a miracle worker and a consummate professional. I cannot say enough good things about the experience that I had working with him and the deal he was able to close for us. Long story short, I had an accepted offer on a short sale that was pending bank approval w/ Ocwen Bank for 11 months. The last 3-4 months of that timeframe, every time my realtor called the bank, he was assured that our application looked great, offer was inline with the BPO and the short sale was about to be approved. At the end of those 11 months, they finally told us that our offer had been approved, but they were set to foreclose on the property in 3 days. They mentioned that they might entertain an all-cash offer. After scrambling for 3 days and trying to figure out how I could come up w/ such an offer, I finally threw my hands up and admitted defeat - it just was not meant to be. During the course of the 11 month waiting period, I was following a forum called Short Sale Superstars, where brokers were posting their experiences about Ocwen bank. I learned how they were the most difficult bank to deal with and would tease applicants with promises of approval before eventually foreclosing on the property. After mentally letting go on my deal, I decided to post my experience on the forum for the benefit of the group. After a few anonymous 'I told you sos', I received a reply from Brett Goldsmith which basically stated that our deal should be good to go & if he were working on it, he could most likely get it done. Obviously, with nothing to lose, we brought Brett on to try to close the deal. Boy was I glad that we did that. Brett stated up front that he had worked with Ocwen several times in the past and though he couldn't promise anything, he was pretty sure that he could get our deal done. The majority of Ocwen bank is in India, but he had connections w/ the main office in Florida where the decisions get made. Within one day, Brett had gotten the foreclosure sale postponed for us, which freed up more time to close the short sale. Afterward, Brett gave us daily updates on the status / progress of our file. Brett was absolutely 110% on top of everything, calling the bank several times daily to move our file into the decision makers hands. The entire time, Brett was always was professional, courteous and maintained a positive attitude. Long story short, Brett had us an approved offer in 3 weeks time, after 11 months of the bank stringing us along. I was absolutely blown away by the speed, efficiency and professionalism in which Brett got this done. There are a few people you meet in life that you just know are headed for great success, and I have no doubts that Brett is among the chosen few. I highly, highly recommend using Brett for any deal that you need to close, he will find a way to get it done, and be an absolute pleasure to work with during the process. Thanks again, Brett! read more

Alex Jallabert was my negotiator during a short sale on a rental property. Alex jumped right in and negotiated the best deal possible for me. She negotiated with the lending company and home owners association. Alex told me exactly what paperwork I needed, what to expect and walked me through her process of negotiations. She was 100% honest, 100% available and 100% professional as well as personable. Alex personally saved me thousands of dollars! I walked away from the deal extremely satisfied. If you need a short sale negotiator Alex is unquestionably your first choice. Sincerely thank you Alex! read more

They are professional and personable group to work with, who will be honest with you. I hope to not only have them work with my business on short sale processing but in other areas of real estate their company is expanding into. I have worked with Jonathan and his team personally and professionally referring them many clients over the past few years. They do an excellent job and really work hard for the client putting the clients needs first. They really know what they are doing and have the expertise in dealing with the banks. I even had them help a past client of mine and they stopped the foreclosure sale in a short period of time. If you need help with a loan modification, short sale, or want to avoid foreclosure I highly suggest you use Jonathan and his team at Absolute Consultant Group! read more

These guys are amazing!! I'm so glad I called them! I have called many agencies looking for the right one and nothing compares to the service I received with ACG. They were the only ones who shared the TRUTH about our situation, it was clear they had our best interest in mind. I can't say the same about some of the other agencies I contacted. The agent asked me what my ideal situation would be, in jest, my response was "more income so that I can get out of my current situation." Well, they took their consultation services above and beyond and did what they could to create that 'ideal' situation for us. Jonathan took interest in my new business and offered to help me network in any way he could... I don't write many yelp reviews but this one was easy. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. read more

I have worked with Lyonel Katz for over 2 years now. He and his team are fantastic! Brett Goldsmith is also a superstar. ACG is a wonderful, professional company that delivers on what they promise. I have been a licensed broker for over 20 years and I would recommend them wholeheartedly! At first I only tried Lyonel out because I had a short sale that just could not get approved, Lyonel stepped in and he got it approved in less than one month! They have wonderful contacts and they do whatever is needed to get the job done. I've been on the phone with Lyonel at 11 in the evening because the man is still working!! ACG is the best! read more

This group is unequivocally the best in the business at handling short sales. I began working with Absolute Consultants in December 2017 for a short sale listing that went active in August 2017. Shortly after beginning our relationship, I received an offer and Absolute Consultants blew me away with their efficient and diligent handling of that offer. That deal fell thru due to the parties inability to mutually agree upon a new price after that appraisal in March 2018. In June 2018, my buyer and seller executed their purchase agreement. Even with my buyer's financing taking longer than expected to receive the clear to close, it took just over two months total to close on this property! However, the most vital benefit to Absolute's services is the fact that my seller will be walking away having been released from the deficient amount owed after closing on short sale! If you are looking for THE BEST IN THE SHORT SALE BUSINESS to assist in handling your short sales, SERIOUSLY CONTACT THESE GUYS! I worked with Jorge and he was absolutely incredible! I would give 10 STARS if an option. read more

As a Realtor of 15 years, and a Short Sale specialist, I thought I had dealt with almost every situation, and I am super skeptical about outside companies that talk about helping homeowners. When I was contacted by ACG to list a complicated short sale in my area, they told me they would handle the lender and short sale liens. I was blown away by how professional, knowledgeable, and efficient they were! They absolutely knew all the procedures it would take to get approval from the lender, IRS, and a creditor with a judgement, and we were able to close a short sale that I honestly wasn't sure could get done. They walked the homeowner through everything, never made promises they couldn't keep, were always super polite and helpful, and communicated well through the entire transaction. They were able to get foreclosure sales postponed, consult with attorneys when necessary, and had contacts with executives and decision makers they were able to call on when things got dicey. Not only do I highly recommend them and feel comfortable with their legitimacy, I have actually passed my more complicated transactions on to them as well for additional business. They truly have the homeowner's best interests at heart, and even help fight to get refunds for homeowners who have been scammed by other companies and attorneys. In particular, I have to credit Lyonel and Jorge for being incredible to work with. I highly recommend them, and ACG. read more

I tried for years to modify my home loan and after years of being turned down by mortgage brokers and banks I was finally introduced to Jonathan Katz. Jonathan literally saved my home for us. I was so leery because I had heard that there were people out there who would take our money and not do anything to save our home. Jonathan was nothing of the sort and i could not be more grateful to have him in my life. He saved us a LOT of money on our monthly payments and we are no longer in an interest only loan! Not only do I want to refer Jonathan to all my family and friends but i have the highest respect for him and what he does to help people! Because of this he is now a trusted friend and colleague. If you are in need of his service or know of someone that needs his service, don't hesitate any longer. Pick up the phone and call him now as I know he can do for you what he did for us! read more

We had an amazing experience with ACG. They were knowledgeable about the process and even about our mortgage servicing company and lender. That meant that they knew the right people, the right phrases, and the right strategy to get things moving. It was the first time in a messy short sale process that I felt like someone was truly representing my interests in the transaction. I don't know if we would have made it through this process without them. Easy 5 star recommendation, would strongly advise anyone going through a short sale give these guys a call! read more

I worked with Jonathan Katz back in 2008-2009 based on a referral I received from a Real Estate friend James. From the beginning, Jonathan's instructions and details were to the point and transparent. OK, before I begin, I will state the reason for reaching out to him through our friend. We had to short sale our town home. Jonathan gave me specific instructions to FAX several documents before he can start the task, back then we had to pre-pay and we confidently went with Jonathan given the initial interaction with him was very good. He reviewed everything, advised on the next steps and came back for 1 or 2 documents or letters, if absolutely required. His 'strong' advise was NOT to stop paying the mortgage and/or default. He continued to follow through and would call me once a week or once in 2 weeks to ensure that he is keeping us posted on the progress even that means there was no progress in a given week. After about 6-8 months of his relentless follow-up with the lender(s), Jonathan came back to us with a good news that the short sale was accepted. The entire transaction went through just fine and there were no surprises or additional charges levied on us by Jonathan and Co. We, in fact, pre-paid the fees required for this short sale negotiation and back then the government did not pass a bill for companies like Jonathan's to charge the fee until after the negotiation is done. So, essentially, we put the trust in him and he and his company did not fail one bit. A honest, reliable and wonderfully soft-spoken human being is Jonathan Katz. Any day wouldn't hesitate to work with him on anything else that I might need around Real Estate. Jonathan, I wish you continued success and I am sure you will be a market leader in what you are doing for your work ethics, transparency and honesty! Thank you, Jonathan!!! read more
