If giving zero stars was possible that's what the rating would be. My interaction with this company was with a guy by the name of Daniel and he is a bad representation of this company. I added a picture of how he spoke to me after the roofer he sent out left our home. Bad business no customer service whatsoever. Adding to this review as we were sent a Cease and Desist letter telling me to change my review. My entire interaction with Daniel from Absolute was captured via text message. I've attached pictures. I will not be bullied by someone who is in the wrong, the owner of absolute and their lawyers can simply read the text messages on the phone Daniel uses and they can see the entire interaction. Not once did we speak on the phone so nothing will be missed. I also added a picture of the cease and Desist demanding us to include additional details to this review details that has always been in my review, again if the lawyer or the owner of absolute read the review it has always shown that yes someone did come out. Daniel also refused to provide me a report pictures attached prove this. Our HOA contacted Absolutely roofing on our behalf and Daniel/Absolute got my contact information from my HOA let it be known I never contacted Absolutely roofing construction first. Daniel messaged me asking me to send pictures of the leak which I did. Someone was sent out later that day around 3pm, the person sent over could not communicate with us for some odd reason he did not say a word other than "check roof" after we opened our door. I mentioned this to Daniel so my story has always been the same, the text messages pictured proves this. After showing the absolute employee to our attic he left our home and we did not hear anything else further. I texted Daniel to ask for any information as the employee did not communicate anything to us. With me asking I was immediately met with condescending and rude comments by Daniel you can also see how he responded to my simple question in the texts below. First of all, it would be interesting to know what their business model is, considering they have left and knocked on my door, countless times in the last few months attempting to solicit my business I have not only turned them away and pointed out the very obvious no soliciting sign that I have yet they continue to come to my door through my close gate knock on my door, ring my doorbell, and leave cards and the like. As if everybody in prosper has not been approached dozens of times already from these semi legitimate or illegitimate contractors for new roofs. If they were worth their salt, they wouldn't still be knocking on doors and ignoring peoples wishes months after the last hail event. Website: https://www.absoluteroofingcompany.net/ When the hail storm hit Plano, Tx, on May-9-2023, next day from the morning until evening time, our door bill was none stop ringing from a different pass by contractors, or storm chaser, or whatever you call them, I'm sure some of them are genuine and honest, but I decided to review the company I'm going to contract for the job, and this what I did, I listened to Gab (project Manager), and next day at 8:00 am I was at the office of Absolute Construction, talking to CEO and CFO and two other people. All the guys I met in the company were an absolute professional and answered all my question and handed me sample of shingles, explained to me the differences, and handed me a copy of the Insured and bonded certificate, and they spoke very highly of Gab, I asked every question comes to anyone minds, after all I want to know who is going to be on my house roof. I was happy and please so far, I gave the green light to Gab and his assistant Mrs. Lizzo. Here are the steps they took after few hours: Filed the claim - and got me the claim number. Went to the roof and inspected and marked everywhere, where the damages are, made it easy for them and the Insurance adjuster to spot everything with ease and fast time. They scheduled with adjuster to come and do his assessment, Gab and his associate where here before them, waiting for the inspector arrival. They followed up on the claim step by step. They did not leave any damage area or questionable/concern without addressing with the adjuster. After all this work, Gab was not fully satisfied, went to up to the roof again, and took an additional pic and submitted them to the insurance system for re-consideration and got some a supplemental amount of money to take care of few things. The work was done and complete with record time - two days later our house was a completed and everything was perfect. My remarks about this company neatness and well job done: All our landscaping was covered. Our swimming pool was covered. Our windows were covered from any derbies falling off the roof. All trash and nails and derbies were removed. The shape they entered the property it was handed back to us, after 12 hours, very clean and neat, just like no 15 people were working on this house, side walk cleaned .....etc. they operated like a family-owned business, each one of them knows what to do, no time wasting, and Mr. Gab, was there most of the time going back and forth bringing materials and communicating with me and the team, also, he has one person on site speaks very good English, what really distinguish this company from the other is the following: very honest Boss and the team, never missed any calls or text msgs, always on time, not even one single appointment was missed or was not. On time. Very polite and seek approval before doing any deviation of the plan as needed. very fast and on the top on their tasks. they have enough employees on the team. 5- Very appreciative. P.S I cannot ask for more than what they did to our roof in total of 16 hours, thank you very much Gab and Lizzo, you can use me as a reference at any time to bring people to see your work of art (matching colors...etc), and the well job done. Absolute Construction out of Danville, Illinois just replaced our roof, and we absolutely could not be more pleased with the results. Josh and Anthony were extremely helpful and diligent every step of the way, working closely with our insurance company and us. The roofing crew worked quickly, paying close attention to detail. Their work is excellent! As seniors, we were wondering how we would ever be able to afford our badly needed roof replacement. Then one day Anthony stopped by to see if we would like him to inspect our roof, no obligation. He found hail damage and started the process with our insurance company on the same day, then followed through with our insurance company's adjuster who agreed, and within a short period time we had a beautiful new roof. Then he tells my wife, after already telling him she's not interested and it's not needed, that he'll be the inspector on our house at some point and will require that we get our roof repaired! If possible I would give a ZERO star... BEWARE!!!.. After having an inspection, I found out the guy (Mike) did not even do the repairs that he claimed to have done. Then he went back to my insurance for more money for a job he was already over paid for. On top of that, he wanted me to pay him money for work he did not do. CROOKED!!!! If possible... I would give it ZERO stars. Three weeks since I last was able to make contact with my mothers project manager@Absolute-Kate, 06/16/14 to be exact. Said she would call my mother that same week to schedule finishing up work related to roof damage from three months ago, 04/2014. Numerous calls to her/voicemails with no returned call. Entire insurance check handed over (biggest mistake ever) roof was eventually completed although there were damages (from roofers) to AC system from nails in AC vent and flat tires from nails after team swore they would triple sweep the area with magnets. No reimbursement as of yet from those damages. Payment given for work NOT complete, bad business! Project manager said, and I quote, "Your mothers house and the rest of the work that needs to be done, is not on our priority list, it's nothing that needs to be fixed right now. She has a free roof now..." I'll just stop with that. There seems to be no way of contacting her as she is very unprofessional and does not return calls nor follows up with customers.
