The barbecue sauce was really flavorful, so I might get it on the side next time. The fries were good (y'all know I'm the Fry Snob), and the cornbread was on the sweet side. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The individual Brazilian Black Bean Stew (Feijoada Completa) lasted for two rounds of leftovers. This restaurant is Brazilian-inspired (the menu is in English and Portuguese), so we were surprised to learn they don't have chimichurri for their steak dishes. My friend settled for BBQ sauce for their steak. My only issue is that it was freezing inside. I ate my fries fast before they became chopsticks. Maybe it gets too hot in the kitchen like Panda Express. I dunno. Thankfully I had on a hoodie, but I'll avoid eating indoors in the future.

I notice it's called Orlando International Airport which is confusing since it's not actually in or at the airport. This is on Goldenrod across from the Super Walmart (close to the airport but not "at" the airport) The pricing is about average but I feel like the sizes are a "one up" from the other coffee chains which is a plus. Staff is friendly and since they started offering additional food items I find myself stopping more frequently. The 2/$6 breakfast sliders are tasty but I note a few location will often sell out of them. Certainly a great spot to grab a quick drink/snack

She makes no mention of the upcoming problem I'm about to have, when u ask if they still have bandanas she says yes and I move along. I get to the window, my drink is handed to me sans bandana which I have already inquired about and it's the reason I'm here. So I ask for it...turns out I didn't read the fine print and ordered a small. It needed to be a medium or large. So I say can I get a medium...assuming she will trade me and I can pay the difference. No she wants to charge me for a whole drink and give me a second drink which I don't need. I ask if they will still have bandanas tomorrow because quite obviously I don't need a second coffee right now...she shrugs and says maybe but we are already running low. Now quite obviously I came for this item. It's why I'm in this line it's why I am inquiring. You're making ZERO effort to make it right and you didn't even apologize to me for the experience. Now I'm not asking you to apologize for my mistake that isn't it. But some good customer service empathy would have gone a long way here. As any good dog mom/dad knows I told my best boy I was bringing him a gift...and now I have nothing... So yes, my mistake. But yours for not even pretending you wanted to try some customer service here... The saving grace of this review and the reason it's a 3 is because the pumpkin is decent. The restaurant's menu features an assortment of classic American foods such as burgers, fried chicken, etc. Most locations don't offer breakfast for morning customers. However, a select few sell limited breakfast provisions, which my partner and I had the opportunity to buy as first-timers at Terminal C during our visit to Orlando. Its breakfast offerings only feature three simple egg sandwiches, either sold plain with cheese or topped with bacon or sausage. Some also offer hash brown tots as a side. There was a queue with a number of patrons waiting for their orders. It was a little disorganized with people standing around everywhere. We decided on the Double Wake Up Shack, which consists of a griddled egg with pork sausage, American cheese, bacon, and breakfast sauce. I opted for no cheese. The components of the sandwich went really well together on the squishy Martin's bun. I loved the tangy, creamy sauce, which had a touch of heat, and the breakfast tots added a nice crispy crunch. Further, we ordered their Double Egg & Cheese and Hash Browns. While the food quality was good and tasty, the service was noticeably slow. We were glad this place was open so early, perfect for those that need to catch early flights.

The trucks change out pretty frequently, so check out the participant listing, too!! This is a great way to get a taste of Orlando all in one place. There are about 15 - 20 trucks on average, at each event. Personal faves include La Empanda and pretty much any truck that has sweets. We just tried the Cake truck (I'm drawing a complete blank on the name - I'll circle back with an update on that) and the Hot Fudge Sundae cupcake was ridiculously good! They block off a good section of parking lot for this event, so there is plenty of space to bring folding chairs and a small table (recommend this actually). At the very least, bring some sports chairs with cup holders. The lines can get pretty hefty on some of the days, so try to arrive early and hop in line at your faves to ensure you get what you are looking for to eat. We like to divide and concur. He'll go to one truck and I'll wait at another, and we'll regroup at a chosen place. This works well on busy days. Overall: A A fun event, family / pet friendly, and plenty o' food to nom on!

The pork is not overly seasoned, so the flavor of the meat comes through. It comes with either hash browns or toast. I opted for the hash browns, which comes with two. The cafe con leche is made using Cafe Bustelo and is delicious. I was the only diner at 8:30 am on a Sunday. From a business standpoint, they could safely open later on Sundays. The TV was playing music at a reasonable volume. The restaurant was clean. Since it is across from a church, it probably gets busier around noon. Not sure if gratuity is automatically added, but I didn't notice it until after I added additional.

We ordered: * Bistec encebollado with tostones, white rice and habichuelas: the steak and tostones overcooked and dry, tasted vinegary with no bistec juice. * Bifongo with camarones al ajillo and salad: the shrimp were also overcooked/rubbery. The picture online looked way tastier. * Arroz con gandules: the rice was bland and lacked flavor. - Cuban sandwich * Canoa (macaroni salad), alcapurrias, and two empanadas. This was particularly disappointing because our first experience with Ruta Taina had been very good. Based on that experience, we felt comfortable spending more than $90 on food for our family gathering. Unfortunately, this order was significantly below the quality we had previously experienced. Given the price, we expected better. Based on this experience, we do not plan to order from Ruta Taina again.
