Food was good. The jerk chicken taco had a weird taste at first. It was sweet and then I noticed that there were plantains in the taco. That made sense and made it amazing. The stew chicken taco was good. The meat is plentiful. The chickenpatty was just ok. I would have preferred the beef, but they were out so those must have been good. The service and the customer service amazing. The staff and owner were so welcoming. We will definitely return for the beef patties and the bao.

This is a food truck located in Lake Nona in the Lowe's parking lot. You order from the QR Code and the food is brought out to you. The service was nice as the workers were kind. I had the beef patty which was very good. I enjoyed it more than the bigger chain restaurants in the area. I also tried the Bao Buns in every option. My favorite one was the curry chicken which surprised me because usually oxtail anything is my favorite. The oxtail meat was very sweet. A bit too sweet for me and was my least favorite. The curry chicken Bao had a really nice flavor. I would definitely go back if i were on that side of town again.

My mom and grandma called saying they got me food from a food truck while they were put grocery shopping. Ironically my sister saw something about them recently on social media. My mom got me their oxtail bao bun! The bun was so soft and it had oxtail, cabbage and sweet plantain. Such a great combination! Their beef patty was nice and flaky and full of flavor and meat. I tried my sister's curry goat! Rice and peas was cooked perfect and the curry goat was really good. I would of just like extra sauce to it but that is just my preference. I will definitely go here to get food on my own! Worth it!

This place is so cute and they're so kind. The menu is excellent and the food is addictive. The bao buns with the seasoning in the meat is so delectable. 10/10 will definitely be back.

This spot is located IN THE LOWES PARKING LOT!!!! Met Mika who greeted me with an amazing smile. Customers service 5/5. The meal I purchased was the oxtail platter. Having it in a tin pan is genius bc it keeps the food warm. The oxtail was delicious and they gave me a healthy portion. The cabbage was OMG so good. And I rarely eat cabbage bc some ppl don't cook it right. This was by far above my expectations. The rice was the plantain, the entire dish was so good!! I definitely will be back there... since it's the only option for Jamaican in this area that I know of. I definitely would buy the cabbage in a large side alone. See you soon! -Ermi

Food truck and this review is limited as I haven't tried the whole menu yet but I do know their spicy beef, jerk chicken, and vegan patties are top tier. The workers are all so kind and they bring your order to your car so you don't have to wait in the heat. Will definitely be back to try the rest!

Bumbaclaat Bao in Curry Chicken Flavor and the Raasclaat Taco in Brown Stew Chicken Flavor

I visited Kingston5 and honestly, everything I tried was amazing from start to finish. I started with the beef patty, and it was everything you want in a patty; buttery, flaky, and full of rich beefy goodness. You can taste the quality in every bite. Next up was the Rassclatt Taco in the brown stew chicken flavor. This one really stood out, the chicken was tender and flavorful, the cabbage added the perfect crunch, and the sweet plantain with that sauce tied everything together beautifully. Every element complemented the next. Then I tried the Bumbaclaat Bao with curry chicken, and it was out of this world. The bao was soft, and the curry chicken filling was bursting with flavor. It had just the right amount of spice and richness to make you go back for another bite immediately. Finally, I had the oxtail platter, and this dish sealed the deal for me. The rice and peas were soft and seasoned just right, the cabbage had a mild pepper kick, the plantains were perfectly sweet, and the oxtails, tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I loved the addition of the large kidney beans and the hint of sweetness that balanced the savory flavors across the plate. Everything was delicious, the portions were great, and the food came out fresh and full of flavor. Kingston5 truly delivers authentic, well-crafted Jamaican cuisine with their own creative twist. I'll definitely be back!

    Cheers!

Amazing Food Truck, coming from Jamaican parentage, I was a little hesitant because all Jamaican food is NOT created equal. Located in the parking lot of Lowe's parking lot in Lake Nona, although hesitant, not disappointed. The young woman who took our order was pleasant, professional and explained the menu. I ordered the oxtail and she let me know right away it's not spicy, but sweet. Usually, Jamaicans cook their oxtail with scotch bonnet pepper so when I heard people's reviews complaining, it was a bit annoying as everyone does not cook them the same. I also got a side of pepper sauce, that was really good too. The oxtail was fantastic and the rice! Not everyone knows how to cook "rice and peas" but it definitely hit the spot. Hubs ordered the curry goat and that was delicious as well. I am definitely going back to order other items from their fusion menu. Plenty of parking around the truck and the truck itself has a Jamaican vibe. Definitely a go to!

This is such a delicious food truck and yes it gets busy!!! They have oxtails, jerk chicken, baos, tacos and so much more!! I got to try their beef patty & jerk patty and both were so flaky and tasty!! I've thought about them multiple times since I tried it. Got the oxtail platter which is a generous amount. They do sell out of oxtails so hurry and get there early. The owners are soooo nice! Def worth a try!

FINALLY LAKE NONA HAS AN AMAZING SPOT TO COME GRAB A JAMAICAN PLATE. The flavors are incredible! Bold and authentic! The have all the Jamaican staples: oxtail, goat, curry, and brown stewie (my absolute fav) The best part is that it's fusion style! So you can get your platters and have BAO + TACOS with your favorite meats. They even have veggie patties, jerk chicken patties, and your original beef patties. They are located in the parking lot of the Lowes in Lake Nona and the owners are some of the coolest and kindest people ever.

Cute ambiance for parking lot setup, service was nice, food looks amazing, oxtails was too sweet for me

Kingston 5 is easily one of the best food trucks I've tried. The food was packed with flavor and tasted fresh and homemade. Everything was seasoned perfectly and had that true Jamaican taste. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even with a line. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. The smell alone will pull you in, and the taste will make you want to come back. I'll definitely be stopping by again.

Food is delicious, I got the curry goat with sweet plantain with rice and peas. The outside is very nice with a place to eat.

Talkin Tacos was a random choice and not on our original plans but my daughter wanted birria and this was close by. This is a cute little fast casual spot in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Inside is dimly lit with various lighted decorations that fit the aesthetic of the place. It reminds me of a club almost. Ordering is either at a kiosk or with a cashier and they offer a wide variety of options. I wasn't hungry but I try churros at every restaurant they are available so I got an order as well as birria quesadillas rice and a lemonade for me and my daughter to share. They weren't very busy but had a steady flow of customers. Food was constantly coming out and we had food within 10 minutes. Everything looked amazing and the birria quesadillas was packed with meat. The rice was just ok, it's a side I love but this wasn't what I'm used to too. The churros were good. Crispy sweet and chewy. A great finish to the meal. If you're close by and want fast not franchise Mexican, give them a try!!

Ambiance: 4 stars When you walk in, you are immersed with the Hispanic vibe and it is really fun and relaxing. A quick service when you can use a kiosk or cashier to order your food. Decor has the regional Mexican colors, flags and music is perfecto. Colorful metal chairs and tables makes it easy to clean and feels cool as you wait for your food. Service: 3.5 stars The cashier was friendly and polite. Food: 3.5 - 4 Stars 1. Three tacos - chicken, Barbacoa, and chorizo - 4 stars Favorite protein was the chorizo. Seasoned and juicy. The chicken and Barbacoa were a little bit dry. 2. 5 tacos - 3.75 stars Meats were braised beef birria and chorizo. Served on corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. The corn tortillas were dry and thicker than normal. The tacos had one tortilla to hold the ingredients. Other places would use two tortillas as the base. Also, they would have been better if they were heated and a little bit moist. 3. Steak quesadilla - 4.5 - loaded with cheese and diced steak. It was hot and fresh. Cilantro and diced onions are served on the side. It will fill you up. 4. Steak Taco Bowl - 3.5 Very filling w rice as the base and the diced steak was good. However, it was missing frijoles (beans) which was kinda' weird but each regional area is different from each other. 5. Loaded nachos with carne asada (steak). The colorful Chips were crunchy and light. The steak was good however, the cheese was processed nacho cheese instead of freshly melted shredded cheese. The dish can get messy so make sure to have enough napkins. The best proteins were the braised beef (birria) and the chorizo. Both were flavorful and juicy. Price: pretty reasonable for the different menu items. We will come back to try other menu items.

The Server came out and arrived at the table and the Hostess left. Server then told us there was a miscommunication, however I still did not get an answer. The food came out quick since we had plenty of time to view the menu. The female Manager made her rounds and had no idea what had happened. She then came to our table, did not even introduced herself and offered us a dessert while we were still eating dinner for what happened. She barely spoke and seemed clueless to what was happening and yet, still no explanation! We get boxes for our food and I pay the bill, I gave the server a really good tip because it was not her fault and we left full of food and disappointment. Note to Owner: Communication goes a long way, educate your staff and make sure they treat everyone with the same respect by being hospitable and bilingual. If I was given a reason, this review would have been amazing! Service : Terrible service, not friendly or inviting, there is a language barrier, and management has no idea about customer service which is my guess why the place was empty! Food: Amazing as always and it is a shame because I really love(d) this place and gladly spent $200+ every time I dine here. Ambiance: Clean, trendy, and inviting. The sauce was small, but still ample enough to pour over the three tacos. It's located in downtown, so parking will be either in a meter or a garage. This restaurant serves pretty good tacos at a reasonable price, but the atmosphere was a bit bland for a taqueria. It was also small and can get crowded and full easily. Best to have this to go or delivered. It's still a nice restaurant for tacos in downtown.
