Turull's Kitchen & Bar in Orlando is a Spanish-inspired tapas bar known for its vibrant atmosphere,…read morecreative cocktails (like guava mojitos/margaritas), and flavorful Spanish dishes such as Patatas Bravas and Gambas al Ajillo, offering a taste of Barcelona with live Spanish guitar and themed nights like Whiskey Mondays. Located at 1319 Florida Mall Ave, it provides a unique culinary experience with fresh ingredients, but some reviewers note inconsistent execution on larger plates like paella or steak. Service is excellent.. The staff and people working in their restaurant are amazing Turull's menu features a smattering of larger plates but is anchored in tapas, including the ubiquitous barometer bite tortilla de patatas ($12). Our forecast? Dry and spongy. To resuscitate, pieces of the potato omelet were bathed in the garlicky oil of a neighboring cazuela of gambas al ajillo ($17) -- a cazuela of goodness brimming with sweet, springy shrimp. Another barometer bite, pan con tomate ($8), fared better. Tomato bread is simple in concept, less simple to execute. Bread is the non-negotiable, and the bread at Turull's was sufficiently reminiscent of traditional "glass bread" to impress, crisp-crusted and open-crumbed -- a perfect raft for fresh tomato, olive oil and salt. We could have eaten several plates. Its a bit confusing because it seems like this place has been renamed to Papazzito Coffee Bar…read more Great customer service; this is a mostly Spanish speaking establishment but the wait staff were incredibly patient with us and welcoming. For unbeatable pricing, the food we got as incredibly well-seasoned and well portioned. I recommend any of the ethnic dishes as my group tried about half of what was on display and they all tasted great. We ate two plates there and also took food to go. The oxtail was cooked exactly as it should be where the collagen is nice and chewy, with meat falling off the bone. All the meat we tried was moist and tender. For $4 you can get hefty empanadas and we tried and loved the chicken, beef and cheese filled ones. The tamale was also delicious. The food looked like it was made with wholesome ingredients and care. The cortadito was nice and strong - incredibly efficient for a small shot as we woke up after eating all that food. They serve a variety of drink flavors like guayabano and mamey. I got a mamey smoothie and enjoyed the creamy almost melon-like but novel flavor for me. For novelty, value, and delicious cultural cuisine, this place etched a core memory in that we paid more at whole foods and got more thrill from the flavorful experience at Papazzito Coffee Bar.

This bakery is a work of art that you have to taste for yourself…read more I'm mad at myself for not having gone to Picasso Moments earlier. Their baked goods are so good and unique. I've literally never seen an asian bakery offer some of the items they have. Beyond that, they also have a full service menu of dim sum items and soups. The service is so insanely good that I felt influenced to buy more. They literally got me. They're located at 8231 S John Young Pkwy on the far end of Orlando. They've been featured on a couple of food bloggers pages and social media. So I got a lot of things. I mean it's a bakery. I am never ever going to walk out with just one item. If you see that happening, it's not me. My favorite item that I got was their snow bread. They have rotating seasonal flavors. I was able to try their pistachio one, but the classic truly is their best seller for a reason. Their snow bread is a well baked piece of bread that is filled with a cream cheese mixture and then covered in powdered sugar. It doesn't sound that complicated and I'm not sure if they've unlocked some secret recipe or ratio, but it's literally so freaking good. Snow bread is a 10/10 for me. Beyond that, I also tried their walnut toffee mochi cookie. This was good, but I wish there was more toffee in it. This was a 8/10 for me. I also go their banana bread, which is shaped like a banana and filled with a banana custard. This was a 8/10 for me. The last item I want to write about is their bread pudding. This item is behind the counter and refrigerated. It was good, but I think I wish it was served with a toffee or salted caramel instead of chocolate syrup. This was a 8/10 for me. I think I spent about $30 total and it was worth it. I would go back and willingly spend that much over and over again. I think more people need to go and try them. It's a bit of a drive but worth it. The space inside is very cute and gives me the feeling of Kiki's Delivery Service. 10/10 overall rating and I will be back.

When I got there 20 minutes later, the hostess directed me to the bar area to pick up my to-go order. I sat down and waited for the bartender to recognize me. She was cheerful and pleasant. I stated my name and she got my takeout order in minutes. I ordered The Big Dipper (shaved steak, horseradish aioli, melted provolone cheese, crispy onions and Au Jus on the side, served on a very fresh grinder roll). It was delicious! It came with a nice side salad that included tomatoes, red onion, cheese and croutons. I selected bleu cheese for my dressing (placed on the side). I also ordered a Wedge salad for lunch the next day. It was a good size half lettuce head with a sliced boiled egg, bacon bits, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and chunks of bleu cheese. The blue cheese dressing was also on the side. Great meals all-around. It would have been a five-star review if not for the long wait to take my to-go order.

I kept hoping I'd have a better experience, but unfortunately, my opinion hasn't changed. The biggest positive is the location. It's in a great area, the restaurant itself is beautiful, and there's plenty of seating both inside and outside. The service has also been consistently good. Every waitress I've had has been friendly, attentive, and professional. The food, though, just doesn't do it for me. I've ordered something different each visit, hoping to find a favorite, but I always leave feeling underwhelmed. The cocktails have tasted watered down, and most of the dishes have lacked the flavor I was expecting. On my most recent visit, I ordered the shrimp and scallop spaghettini. It was overwhelmingly pasta with very little seafood, and the dish itself was pretty bland. Of everything I've tried, the truffle fries and the Korean bibimbap were the standouts because they actually had some flavor. I can definitely understand why so many people enjoy Earls, and it's always busy, but it just isn't my style. If I'm in the Millenia area, there are several other restaurants I'd choose before coming back here. For me, the atmosphere and service are much stronger than the food.
