I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. I learned that Gabriel was finishing his last week at Touken when I visited--I came to Touken originally because of all the great service reviews about Gabe, so Touken is definitely losing a valuable asset with Gabe's departure. While I understand they are trying to eliminate staff to take and track orders, the whole process and extra wait makes it worse since there doesn't seem to be any feedback to Clover about extra time required. I considered ordering family platters, but did not because they all contained chicken. I ordered lamb based dinners which were also great. A single dinner is enough for 2 adults in our experience.
