However, if you're wanting an attorney to fight and advocate on your behalf, then I'd look elsewhere. Britt represented me in my divorce for a few months. She seemed very nice and personable. After a couple months, I asked her why we gave opposing council all the paperwork they wanted but yet we got nothing in return. Turns out, Britt had received paperwork but never made sure that I got it . The biggest problem I had was when my ex-husband changed his mind and wanted half of everything I owned and made. I told Britt that we needed to fight for my rights, especially since he used me to become US citizen. Britt told me that I just needed to give him everything he wanted. In our last conversation, I gave her several reasons we needed to fight, but she just said to give up now. I was angry and got another lawyer. Michael Brewer from Koenig Dunne took my case. He wrote a letter to opposing council explaining how my ex had used me for citizenship. My ex immediately backed down and we settled right away. I literally saved tens on thousands of dollars by switching lawyers. Britt is young and I believe she has room to grow. But for now, I'd choose Koenig Dunne any day over Lustgarten Dudzinski.

I filed a Social Security disability case in 2022. During the 3 years my case worked its way…read morethrough the courts, I saw my attorney ****ONCE**** and that was 30 minutes prior to my administrative judge hearing. Despite asking to see briefs PRIOR to them being filed with SSA or the court, I only saw briefs AFTER they had been ruled upon. My final brief, for instance, was filed in AUGUST. However, I never saw that brief until I received the final notice of denial and closure of my case yesterday/ And that brief only covered my mental health and did not include the degenerative spinal issues I have tht impact all of my quality of life. So my attorneys completely betrayed me with a lack of communication and transparency. Perhaps it wouldn't have changed the final outcome but we'll never know because they didn't consult me or do what I asked so I could offer input during the process. I would never recommend this firm to friends or colleagues. How would I even know what work was done on my behalf if no one shares anything with me until the judge or SSA rules on it? I had no idea what was being said on my behalf and that is cmpletely unnacceptable. I'll be filing a formal complaint with the Bar Assn. Maybe it goes nowehre but at least it will be on record.

Think twice before hiring this firm. One of their attorneys representing a client, who owns a…read moremoving company, and has owed me money for years. This firm's attorney violated the Consumer Review Fairness Act when I was sent a 'contract' to sign before I would get money owed to me. The 'contract' specified this would be strictly confidential IF I removed truthful postings on Facebook. Only IF the terms were acceptable to their client and myself would I enter into an agreement for money owed to me. The Consumer Review Fairness Act is a Federal law and their 'contract' clearly violated my rights to post honest remarks on Facebook. To go a step further, since money IS involved, money that is due to me from the owner of the moving company, this is a threat by this firm's attorney and could be seen as extortion. I informed the firm's attorney of the federal law he and his firm violated. I received notice he no longer was at the firm. I was referred to another attorney at the firm. Then a third attorney contacted me with a 'revised contract' to sign. This was revised to keep me from suing the moving company. Removed was all demands to remove any Facebook postings. I have taken this from small claims to District Court. I have spoken to Federal agencies that have informed me the law firm can also be held responsible for violating the Consumer Review Fairness Act when they are representing this client and allowing two of their attorneys to restrict money owed to me unless I sign their 'contracts'. I am filing federal charges against the moving company owner as well as the law firm, Goosmann, representing him. As a disabled senior citizen and cancer survivor beware of hiring this firm. Jan S
