I have dealt with Abraham's Automotive with two of my vehicles. I am not lying what I am about to tell you. Each time I had them to service a vehicle of mines it came back worst the 1st time. Not only they took extremely long time(s) fix my car and truck. Two- Four weeks each time. Even under COVID-19 it's consider a long time to receive a vehicle back from service. Each time we call the shop asking for completion date they gave a different excuse why it was not ready. I can't make this stuff.  Also, when they did return the truck it seem to develop new mechanical issues under their care. I paid out about 3k and they never fix it correctly. Cutting my losses. But that was only the truck. While fixing my car they broke my brake line, install the Struts incorrectly, lost my under protection cover skid plate, and never put the screws back in their proper place under the hood of vehicle nor wheel well. I paid them good money about 1k + for the car. Till this day my car does not run like it did before I took it to them.  Also my truck was very similar. I found that Abraham's Auto create work for themselves by creating problem with the vehicle then offer a solution and of charge you more money. This is not a new practice for fraudulent companies.  Seriously, if I could give this shop a zero (0) I would. Consumer Beware!!! Very helpful and efficient! I had a problem with my car stalling randomly and every place I called I couldn't see me until next week. I don't get much time off work so I really just wanted a place to take a look and give me a hint of what could be wrong. This was the only place I found that said they would take me same day and check it. Although they couldn't exactly tell me what was wrong they told me all they knew and rather than lead me down a path costing me money in repairs they recommended which dealership I go to to get seen and figure out the exact fix. This is my go-to place to get my car inspected. I can trust them to get the job done quickly, hassle free, without them taking advantage of my lack of car knowledge (unlike some places!) The gentlemen working are all well-mannered and super nice! I can drop my car off in the AM and have it inspected in an hour for $16, love it! See you next year :) read more

After nearly $2,000 and several times coming back my problem still exists. They are polite and nice people but the level of their mechanical expertise is apparently very limited. I would advise never going there with any issue a common service station can't fix. read more

Took my car here because it had a check engine light on. Nothing but problems. These guys tried guessing which part to replace, I had to buy them the software for them to program the part. Tried putting a couple more parts on when that didn't work. Short story is that my car is leaving in worse condition than when it came and still almost a $1k bill. Bunch of amateurs charging dealership prices. Take your car to somewhere more above board. I always like to use local guys but I really got screwed here. Buyer Beware. read more

As a woman who doesn't know anything about cars I've had bad experiences in the past , but after being told that my truck needed 1300$ of repairs I moved to Chesapeak and so took it here to get the work done .... they told me all I needed was an oil change !!!! They have been the only ones to touch my truck ever sense . They are honest , decently priced and I know they do a good job . I tell all my female friends to come here !!!! read more

Y'all rant about how great the place is but i went for a state inspection and they failed me for lights. No biggie right. But when they called me from the waiting room and said my car was ready i came to the front to have them tell me my car failed for lights and they already had a rejection sticker on it. I should have been asked it I wanted them fixed and have it pass but they did not even ask. BS move in my eyes. read more

I am very disappointed with my experience, especially considering the previous reviews and my referral here by a family friend. I dropped my car off to be inspected. A couple of hours later, I received a call that my car was "ready for pickup." I arrive at the shop at the end of the day to pick up the car and was told that my car did not pass inspection. I was not upset because the car didn't pass inspection--the inspection rules serve a purpose. I get that. What I didn't like was that I was never told that the car had failed inspection when they called earlier that morning. Instead, I was told that the car was "ready for pickup" earlier that morning without any indication whatsoever that the car needed additional servicing to pass inspection. I think it is reasonable to expect feedback from the service provider if a vehicle fails to pass inspection. To make it worse, they didn't seem to care that this information was not relayed to me earlier in the day. When I asked why I was not told, I received a blank stare and a shrug. A whole day went by with my thinking the car was "ready"-as in it had passed inspection. A whole day that I could have used to make arrangements for the necessary repairs. A whole day makes a big difference when you rely on your vehicle for transportation to and from work, etc. if you are in the business of conducting inspections, you hold a lot of power and people are at the mercy of the inspector in order to keep their cars on the road legally. To fail to share this important information at the outset, when relaying this information goes along with the job, is irresponsible. However, to exhibit absolutely no concern whatsoever about the oversight is just bad business. read more

Not happy with this establishment.. Before I got there my car was quiet.. The guy told me I had an exhaust leak..Okay fine..but when I left it was loud as hell!! Thinking he may have tampered with it..Anyway will not be taking my car there again!! read more
