I LOVE the Nice Guys & Gals! THEY DID IT AGAIN!…read more Seriously, I've had some pretty serious repairs quoted and they have ALWAYS been the most reasonable for what I've needed. In addition, I TRULY appreciate their communication. They will call and check in on your repairs' progress, give you an ETA for part ordering, completion, etc. I couldn't ask for better customer service. Courtney, James, and of course Jason, the illustrious leader :), have always been so awesome. Finally, their work speaks for itself. Effective troubleshooting, diagnostic work and knowledgeable people will keep any vehicle and it's owner satisfied! Call them and see for yourself!

made an appointment for a car inspection a good 10 days in advance. The shop chose the date. I even…read moredropped my car off the night before so they'd have it first thing in the morning. I also asked them to attach the skid plate and change the fluids. They had my car all day with no phone call. At 4 pm, I called and was told they only had one person who could do inspections and he was at another location, but everything else was done. Fine. I left it overnight again. The next day, still no phone call. At 2 pm, I called to check in. They told me the inspection still wasn't done because the guy was still at the other site. I calmly asked if they had called him to let him know my car was waiting. The response I got was, "You can come pick up your car!" I was stunned. I said I never said I needed the car! I was simply wondering why it was taking two days. This experience felt incredibly unprofessional. No communication, no urgency, and an attitude on top of it. And here's the kicker: I paid $65 for them to "attach" the skid plate. I drove home (two miles away) and immediately heard it dragging. I called them, and they said, "You need a new skid plate!" That may be true, but I should be refunded because whatever they did clearly didn't hold. I took pictures of their so-called repair: two zip ties. That's right! $65 for two zip ties that didn't even last two miles. They had my car for two days, with a lift, full view, tools, and my money, and this was the result. On top of that, the attitude I received was unbelievable. Buyer beware Especially women beware!

He then told me the final price and a few hours later my Honda was ready to be picked up. Words cannot express how much I trust that guy! I (luckily) had a warranty coming and these guys were so professional the first time I went and they made sure not to beat up too bad with the price. When my car ended up getting some scoobys and I needed them to replace the engine bad. $7800 to $1608. I couldn't ask for a better job from them and the car drives smooth. Shoot smoother than when I got it it feels like lol. Nonetheless. You someone to take good care of your car? Come here. I drive from near Norfolk the 25ish minutes just so I can come here because of how welcoming, honest, professional, clean, and prompt these guys are. But hey. If you don't believe me? Go to em!! I literally have talked to them for a daggon near a week and a half and they have always kept me in the loop and giving good service while providing no shortcuts.

I'm pleased as punch with the service I got here!…read more Yesterday, I had a flat. I had my car towed there, and knowing it would be after hours, I called ahead and gave them a heads up. Lee quoted me a ridiculously low price for a plug/patch, told me about the drop off box, took my info and Bob's your uncle. The tow company did the rest. This morning, Jennifer (has to be CAC - Command and Control) called me and asked what I needed. I told her I'd like the flat fixed, if possible and if not give me a call back. She said she'd get it done and quotes me the same ridiculously low price for a plug. An hour later, she calls me back, says the car is ready. I arrive, pay the fee which hasn't changed between last night when I spoke to Lee, this morning and right now. I'm in love! Friendly and courteous, honest and timely. All the things I look for in car repair shops.

I drove 20 miles and put 4 gallons in the 10 foot truck, filling the tank above the mark on the gauge and paper contract- returned after hours. They charged me for additional 4 gallons. As soon as I pulled up the gentleman working met me at the truck and immediately began the inspection. Awesome people and great service. Will definitely be back. Great they are also only right around the corner from me! Obviously, that is exactly what I did.

Parking lot is always full and people are always in and out. This visit is the second time they have said my vehicle would be ready at a certain time & is not. If there are major issues with your vehicle, be prepared to wait. While they do an excellent job, are kind, and patient, the wait times have become a bit much. Maybe I just have gotten the luck of the draw. I recommend setting the expectations upfront and advising customers on the maximum wait time needed to work on any vehicle or providing a status throughout the process. In this scenario, it was the parts place that was the hold up. I did not know this until I arrived. Other than a possible courtesy call, these guys really know what they're doing. I'd rather wait and make sure it's done right by the right people. My vehicle feels like it is brand new!!! The mechanic said I could probably get another 100k miles! Whooo! 12/2015 review. Has anyone ever walked into a friendly, professional, locally owned auto service station? Not me, until now. I came based on the raving reviews and location. I was greeted with a friendly voice and smile. The bathrooms smelled good and I felt a comfortable vibe during my wait. I needed an inspection & wish I came here first thing that day for oil change ($10 off Yelp Checkin). Other issues were identified. Two that were needed in order to pass inspection. One issue I was aware of so, I knew I should just get it fixed. Instead of an hour wait, it ended up being several. Rick (I'm guessing owner) was so nice & even offered to drive my daughter and I home. The prices are comparable. All car repair IMO is high anyway. They empathized with me since it is during the holidays w/ unexpected expenses. They all worked together, communicated respectfully with each other, everyones demeanor was calm, no one was yelling, I didn't hear one curse word during my wait, and Rick was clear & concise in his delivery to the techs on exactly what needed to be done w/ my vehicle. So, I guess if anything happens, I have my receipt and will bring it back. Great experience & business environment to deal with especially under already stressful conditions.

AVOID THIS CROOKED MECHANIC SHOP!!…read more I want to make it clear that ownership of Princess Automotive changed a little over a year ago. Because of that, I don't believe reviews from before the ownership change accurately reflect the current business or my experience with the current ownership. The business may have been a great establishment under the previous ownership, but my experience with the current ownership has been completely different. I brought my vehicle in for repairs and it was kept for over a month. I paid approximately $6,000 for the work. Despite the amount of money I spent and the time the vehicle was in their possession, I got the car back with the same issues I originally brought it in for. New parts had been installed, but the underlying problems were still there. Ultimately, I had no choice but to scrap the vehicle. In my opinion, the mechanic's work was incompetent, and I feel I paid a substantial amount of money without receiving the repairs I was promised. Unfortunately, my experience didn't end there. After I posted a negative review, the owner began calling me from a restricted number, screaming profanity at me and then hanging up. In my opinion, that behavior is extremely unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a business owner dealing with a dissatisfied customer. I'm sharing this review so that potential customers understand that my experience reflects the current ownership and should not necessarily be compared with reviews from before the ownership change. This is based on my personal experience and my opinion of how I was treated as a customer. I would strongly recommend anyone considering major repairs at this shop to get a second opinion, keep detailed documentation, and make sure they fully understand what they're paying for before authorizing expensive work.
