Our community consists of 7 residential buildings with 38 owner-occupied units, making this a significant undertaking. The project began on September 8 and was successfully completed on October 2, an impressive timeline considering the scope of work and the six-day work weeks required to keep the project moving efficiently. From start to finish, the professionalism and organization of the entire team were exceptional. The installation of the Owens Corning architectural shingle roofing system was completed with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The crews were hardworking, knowledgeable, and consistently demonstrated a commitment to quality. What stood out most was their excellent housekeeping and respect for our residents and property. Work areas were kept clean and organized at the end of each day, minimizing disruptions to homeowners. Communication throughout the project was clear, and the team responded promptly to any questions or concerns. The combination of speed, efficiency, workmanship, safety, and customer service exceeded our expectations. It is rare to find a contractor that can deliver such a large project so quickly without compromising quality. We highly recommend New England Building & Restoration to any condominium association, homeowner, or property manager seeking a roofing contractor who delivers exceptional results and takes pride in their work.

Disappointing Experience with N.E. Building & Restoration LLC and David Rosati…read moreI hired N.E. Building & Restoration LLC, represented by David Rosati, to complete roofing, siding, and window replacement work at my property in Plainville, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, my experience raised serious concerns about professionalism, construction knowledge, project management, and transparency. David was my primary point of contact throughout the project. Based on my experience dealing with him and observing how the project was handled, I had concerns about his knowledge and experience managing residential construction work. I later discovered that David does not hold a CSL and was not the CSL holder identified on the building permit. Instead, the permit listed Samuel Silva, a separate licensed construction supervisor, as the contractor. This arrangement was never disclosed to me in my original contract, and I was not informed of Samuel Silva's role before the work began. To my knowledge, Samuel Silva never visited my property during the project. This left me with serious questions about who was actually responsible for supervising the work and what level of construction oversight was being provided. There were also significant concerns with the conduct of the crew and the overall management of the job. One of David's employees slept overnight in a van parked in my driveway without my permission. I also repeatedly heard members of the crew complaining about the work being performed. These experiences did not inspire confidence in the professionalism, organization, or management of the project. I believe homeowners deserve a contractor who demonstrates sound construction knowledge, manages employees professionally, communicates transparently, and clearly identifies who is responsible for the work and required supervision. My experience fell short of those expectations. Discovering the discrepancy between the company I hired and the contractor identified on the building permit, combined with the lack of prior disclosure and the issues I witnessed on-site, left me questioning the level of oversight and professionalism involved in the project. I strongly encourage anyone considering N.E. Building & Restoration LLC or David Rosati to independently verify the contractor's qualifications, confirm who will be listed on the building permit, clarify who will supervise the work, and establish clear expectations for crew conduct before signing a contract.

Ray was very responsive to communication from day 1 and was flexible with my roof needs and concerns. Their estimate was not only the cheapest, but it also contained the most product for the money. Ray fit me in earlier than expected knowing I had an ongoing issue that could cause more damage the longer we waited. The crew was prompt and worked hard through the day. They were professional and cleaned up as they went, multiple times. The next day a different crew came to finish up a few loose ends they didn't get to the day before. They were just as professional and cleaned up as thoroughly as they did the day before. Ray and his son stopped by throughout the project both days to ensure all was going smoothly. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

Several more issues developed before I signed the contract. I called Nathan. He told me he was driving and he would get back to me. He never did. I called Ray and suggested that the entire roof may need replacing. He promised to come out the following day. He never showed and never called. Turns out, those roofers were calling a substance rust that wasn't rust and I didn't need a fix at all! Jay Jr literally saved me $4k on the spot (with photo evidence and all) by pointing that out. I learned so much about our gutters and roofs from that first meeting, he was a wealth of knowledge. Right there, I knew he was our guy. I didn't need Jay to fix the slate anymore but since I was so impressed I happily hired him to do some gutter fixes we needed done and painting a small portion of flat rubber roof white. He did a fantastic job with both. Jay was also the person in charge of our project and doing the work himself. He texted to give me a heads-up before he arrived each day and gave me a recap after each day to share progress and findings (with photos). Over several days of work he found a bunch of previously undiscovered but significant problems that he fixed without charging me more. Jay's integrity is unmatched - he knows that by working on your roof/gutters that his name is forever on that roof/gutter and he takes that very seriously. He came as a referral and I'll hire him again in a heartbeat. He'll surely be the only roofer I refer to others and my first call in the future. THANK YOU JAY!
