Saturday morning, I was told that his machine had broken down and that he was trying to borrow one from a friend. I understood that unexpected issues happen and appreciated the update. He then confirmed he would come Sunday instead. Sunday came, and he never showed up. I reached out to ask if he was still coming, but I never received a response. What makes this especially frustrating is that I had three other insured companies ready to do the job, some for less money. I turned them down because I believe in honoring my commitments once I've made an agreement. Unfortunately, that same respect was not returned. Because he failed to show up and stopped communicating, I had to explain the situation to my tenants after I had already told them the tree would be removed over the weekend. It made me look unreliable through no fault of my own, and now I'm spending my Monday scrambling during work to find another contractor to do a job that should have been completed days ago. As a business owner myself, I understand that equipment breaks and plans change. What I cannot understand is confirming a second appointment, not showing up, and then completely ignoring your customer. A simple phone call or text would have been enough. If you choose to hire this company, I strongly recommend having a backup plan. My experience was that they did not honor the agreed-upon schedule and stopped communicating entirely.

They stopped by and gave me a quote of $500 to cut it and move it about 10 feet to my empty lot. Rather expensive. Called my neighbor and we got it taken care of in 3 sections in about 20 minutes. It wasn't heavy since it was dead and already coming apart in chunks. Ridiculously expensive, especially since they were doing a job about a half a block away. It's not like they were coming from Tampa! Definitely won't hire them for anything!

They never even stopped to take a break. Within about an hour more people showed up with more equipment. There was a total of eight people all working. If it wasn't for a little stump grinding residue, you would never have guessed that that much work had been done. They left my property cleaner than it was when they got here. In my 13 years in Florida, I have never seen a work crew work as hard as these people did. Eli had provided us with a great proposal to remove numerous trees that would fall onto the house without much wind speed. The brush that was left was dangerous, due to the fact it was dead for several months. A lot of it was less than 15 feet from the side of the house. A definite fire hazard waiting to happen. Approximately ten (10) men with several pieces of equipment arrived late morning and began meticulously removing all trees and brush we requested removed. It was fascinating to see how well they all worked together, everyone had a job and did it well ! There was no horseplay, all business. At 1630 Hrs. the work was finished.
