Refrigerated Bibimbap, Korean-style sushi rolls (not fish, filled with bulgogi, pickles, tofu, veggies, etc... basically a bibimbap roll!), interesting beverages, Korean-style salads, noodle bowls, etc. all stylishly packaged to take away. I had a bap roll with beef, and it was fresh tasting, flavourful, and affordable. I am so happy this convenient location opened up near college. A roll, plenty for a sizeable snack or light lunch, was under £4, most of the salads around £6-7. I will certainly be back here again and again. No more boring old sandwiches!!!!!! (They also have a big space to eat in with really interesting chairs).

It is basically a Korean version of Itsu or wasabi, so they have meaty sushi (kimbap) and lots of their dishes have a spicy kick. Yum!! I am sooooo glad that Katie and Yinnie wanted to meet up for lunch, so I had an excuse to come and try this yumminess. - The pajeon reminded me of yaki (the fast food okonimiyaki place up the road.) It wasn't the best in London, but it is pretty awesome for fast food! - The kimbap beef sushi rolls were slightly too chilled, but still reeeally good. - I loooove the cucumber kimchi (oi-sobagi) I also love that it only costs £1!! - They have some interesting (and really tasty) drinks. The aloe vera drink was delicious and the cold plum tea looks good too. I ordered 4 things, and still had change from a tenner. Not bad...Especially as it would have cost even less for take away. I was uncomfortably full on the walk back to the office, so next time I'll have to pick up fewer dishes. Oops.

Their bacon and egg muffin is so good with a lovely sweet chilli sauce and spinach leaves. I always want to try their breakfast pots (in particular truffled eggs and chorizo pot) but the muffin is so good I can never resist! Their mocha is also soooo chocolatey with a good coffee hit - indulgent. I've been let down by their lunches recently but their breakfast is always a winner.

Today, it was the Duck Gyozo dumpling soup, but it was a close call to not pick up a yummy pastry or a piece of carrot cake to go with it. If you're not in a soup mood, they also have boxes of fresh sandwiches too. Check out my pictures. The container of soup is just veggies and stuff, then you take it to the counter, where the soup expert (no soup for you!) adds the broth and chilli sauce if you want it (which I did). And it only takes a few moments.

One thing is for certain is they are extremely consistent. There is something to appreciate about seeing a Wasabi, walking in and grabbing a small box and drink for a few pounds and it being exactly the same as the one you were at yesterday several kilometers away. It's the McDonalds of Japanese. I sure will miss them the most. I even dropped in on one in Birmingham Bullring and it was exactly the same as the first one I visited here in Knightsbridge. I can't wait to try one when I get back to LA and see if it's the same or not. That would be just something short of amazing if the consistency was the same as here in London. Honestly, if I walked by one back home before this trip, I probably wouldn't even look twice or think about out. But now, for bits n pieces, this is a must snack-a-roni for me.
