I already packed my dump in my car the night before (furniture and a bunch of old shoe boxes), so I was ready to drop off. When I arrived on location, he introduced himself, gave me a business card, put his gloves on, and unloaded my car. I liked the service a lot and will be going back to him for future dump service plans as the pricing was reasonable! The full job would have been $400 for about 15 minutes of labor. When I objected, the work was already partially done, which is exactly how this pricing model works: by the time you understand what you're being charged, items are already at the road and you're negotiating from a losing position. Here's what I want every potential customer to understand: their pricing is based on volume, not effort. A bulky item that could be dismantled into a small pile in five minutes gets billed as a full bulky item. Dismantling furniture is trivial for a company that does this all day -- but they will not volunteer to do it, because bulk is how they charge you more. Before you book them or anyone like them: Ask if any item can be dismantled -- then do it yourself first. A disassembled bed frame or desk costs a fraction of an intact one. Get the total price in writing before a single item is touched. Do not let work begin on a verbal ballpark. Get quotes from 1-800-GOT-JUNK, local independent haulers, or your town's bulk pickup -- many municipalities take furniture at the curb for free or a small fee. I later called to discuss the charge and never received a call back, which tells you how much they value customers after the credit card clears. $265 for 10 minutes. Two nice gentlemen showed up 15 minutes early and got right to work removing the stuff left we needed taken away. They considered it a full load which cost as advertised $549 and ended up being $584 with tax. Once everything is counted, you get paid. It really is that quick and easy but there are a few rules. 1. Your plastic bottles, cans, and glass must already be separated. They will only process 1 material at a time. And 2. Your glass bottles must be in a box. I stood at my trunk in the parking lot separating my cans from plastic bottles. And I just gave the two glass bottles I had to someone else because I didn't have a box for them. Its located in the back of the building in the former planet fitness location. The staff is nice and they have multiple ppl running the machines. It really is so quick and easy(EZ) that it takes the tedious out of bottle return. Only place I'm going from now on!

It's been over a week and a half, and he is clearly ignoring me. I am filing a complaint with the BBB next and will continue to leave reviews until this company repairs the damage they caused. The sad part is that I thought the movers overall worked hard and did a good job in other respects. I realize that the damage came from being tired at the end of a long day, but the fact is that your movers caused it, and part of what I paid for in working with you is an insured company that would cover any damage to the premises.
