During the call, the rep requested access to my phone to help me navigate the process. I allowed it and he proceeded to access my bank account and steal $975 from me!! He then attempted to charge my bank account through Uber $500 eight different times within the following hour. I have a bank statement, confirming this. The attempted charges come from Uber. I have contacted Uber on more than 15 occasions since the incident, never getting any real attention whatsoever. Instead, I always get an automated message telling me since the charges did not go through, they are closing the case. And just like that, I am dismissed! There is no getting a hold of a live human at Uber. It's all automated and it's all generic and nobody there cares about my situation. Needless to say, I will never recommend or use this company ever again. Ever. Uber is the most unprofessionally run business I've ever used in my entire life. My advice to anyone considering using Uber is to find a different service. This company is not worth giving your money to. They should be ashamed of themselves. I understand the need to check but come on. There should be a way better implementation. also it creates a safety hazard when the train starts to move. Idk about every one else but thats my two cents. and one more thing for the buses, hold onto a chair because they brake hard, at least on the ones I take.
