The water damage was due to the granite countertop being cut too shallow. When water from the sink splashes onto the countertop, it ends up rolling straight down onto the cabinets below, damaging them and eating the finish. The company came out to take a look and said the problem was with the cabinet installation and not the countertops. The person who initially measured my cabinets and sold me the countertops, Cindy, no longer works at this company and as a result the company does not want to warranty their work. The company is blaming the installation of my cabinets, however, the cabinets were already installed when Cindy took measurements. If the cabinets were a problem, then why didn't Cindy say something instead of going ahead and ordering the granite countertops? In addition, why didn't the people who came out to install the granite say something? This company should stand behind their work whether or not their employees are still employed here. Very disappointed.

He gave us a verbal estimate of the backsplash and said he'd get back to us very soon on the other estimates. We never heard from him again. We had to call him to get updates and he then told us that their tile installer couldn't be found and they couldn't install - and oh btw the new price was higher than what he quoted us verbally (higher than anyone else who gave us an estimate). No estimate for carpets or the other work ever came. He wasted so much of our time waiting. They honestly don't care anything about their customers like they used to. At least it feels like that.

Crafter has no technology so everything is "handcrafted" i.e. curved lines are uneven. Nothing is symmetrical. They apparently didn't seal my granite. Guess they saved the cost of sealer. I asked for a 25" x 25" remnant for a small vanity. They said it was so small they throw them out. I requested they save a piece the next time they cut a kitchen. They did and charged me $100/ sq ft. full price. They seamed the countertop next to the sink instead of with the sink. Longer seam that shows. The color is off. So a big warning! Odd they have a perfect score for their reviews???
