Nothing. I never once saw a human except me on the premises. I called on my cell and got a message telling me they were on another line and to leave a message, so I did. I never got a call back. There is a sign on their gate saying "Compare Price with Walmart" and a $13.99 price. Well I ended up at Walmart and their price was about .25 cents more, but there were there when I needed them and they loaded the tank in my car. For a quarter, Abingdon Propane got their chance for my business and they will not get another.

Since then we've almost run out of propane several times even though we were on auto delivery. Our tanks ran out this year on February 22nd. Yelp is making me select at least one star - they don't deserve one! SMH…read more We selected Amerigas because they were the only provider that could supply a tank at the time. Currently our tank is empty - we failed to realize the tank was so low. That part is clearly our responsibility. We contacted Amerigas on Dec 26 to request a refill. The offshore call center gave us a window for delivery of Dec 27 - Jan 2. Today is Jan 6 and we have not heard anything about scheduling a delivery. We have called the call center daily. We have been assured that the issue has been escalated, but we are going into another weekend without gas. I do not recommend this company. There seems to be no way to talk to a local representative. Even the call centered admitted that they do not have two way communications with the local reps. It's very ironic that the company name is "Ameri"gas when you cannot talk to someone stateside about your issues.

The co-op thing seems nice, but I could never figure out how to cancel those shiny mailers. I try hard to minimize paper mail that I never requested due both to inconvenience and more importantly, environment. When I looked thru these booklets, I saw too many unhealthy recipes and and too little Blue Ridge leaders who were not male, white and mainly senior. Lately I have seen female board(white) nominees, some healthier recipes and interesting articles. I look forward to seeing more leadership and information that reflects the Blue Ridge customer base. There are many customers from Latin American countries who provide labor in vital trades like construction and farming, along with household support...cleaning, childcare, landscape etc. As the younger generations attend college and enter the workforce, they will add an important new voice to our communities. I am thankful for Blue Ridge Energy's excellent service.
