Most places wouldn't have been able to do that, but Zatsarina's really came through. My first fitting was on August 24th with a second scheduled for September 18th and finally a pickup for October 4th. Gina was so efficient and diligent explaining what needed to be done (take in the shoulder straps, hem, bustle, etc). My first visit was thorough and she explained everything perfectly. All of the alterations would come to $800 (as I had bought off the rack at another boutique). When I came in for my fitting everything was looking great and only a few minor tweaks needed to be made. All in all, a great experience. There was a bit of a hiccup at the end when it wasn't fully ready for my pickup and still needed to be steamed. They made it work and were able to finish it while I waited. I didn't entirely like dealing with her husband but Gina was EXCEPTIONAL. She suggested a video on how to bustle which was super helpful for later. As I mentioned, I had a difficult request with such a quick turnaround time, but I'm so grateful for how everything turned out and how Gina was willing to help and deliver such high quality service.

From the moment you walk into Zatsarina, you're met with kindness and professionalism. The inside is sleek and showcases all of Gina's talents. For my personal tailoring, in terms of a unique situation, I needed sleeves from a jacket placed on a spaghetti strap dress. Then, I needed a bustle added to my dress, tulle taken out of the bottom layers, and a slit added. The fabric of my jacket sleeves were very delicate (covered in beads); and I needed someone who I could fully trust. She delivered. She even hand placed matching beads in spots that were naturally not as crowded, to match the rest of the jacket. Additionally, she hemmed the sleeves of the jacket, so they were perfect. For my bustle, I wanted something that did not create a large bump around my butt, and the way she made the bustle was perfect and almost invisible. (My train was LONG, when bustled, you could not tell there were 14 buttons to make this possible.) It was so easy to connect everything- she showed my MOH a video how to do so too and even encouraged her to record it, which was super helpful dua of. my sister (MOH) was able to do it within a few minutes. Gina's work is perfection. She met with me multiple times to make sure everything was perfect and even provided directions on how to steam the day off. Also, Gina makes custom wedding dresses! Pros: attention to detail & skill Overall, my dress fit perfectly & everything held up. I would highly recommend zatsarina fashion, specifically gina for your most important tailorings. Since I did not (it is a vintage gown), I was dismissed and told that she needed to give priority to customers who bought their dresses in the store. So basically, I could either come in within the next week, or not come in at all. I suppose everybody is entitled to a business model, but this isn't the one that I would personally go with. I suppose you will get decent service if you are a high school student, and you buy your prom dress in their store, but I wouldn't count on receiving the kind of care and attention that you would have received when Zuma was there. Sadly, another dependable local business is no more.

We worked with Harlow, who was seriously the best!!! We started by talking through what I had already tried on, what I was looking for, my budget, etc. Harlow then pulled wedding dresses that aligned perfectly with everything I had shared. They were soo helpful, warm, and welcoming, and made us all laugh (which really helps make what can sometimes feel like an overwhelming experience so much more enjoyable). The dresses at The White Gown are also beautiful, and the dressing rooms are lovely and spacious. Additionally, the appointment fee is much lower than at many other stores, which is a huge plus. All in all, I had a great experience at The White Gown and would definitely recommend working with Harlow!

The seamstress works alone and was extremely delayed in completing the alterations she had promised my daughter, whom I'll call Dee. In fact, Dee stopped in a few days before what was supposed to be her final fitting to check on the progress. Nothing had been done--and this was a week and a half before the wedding. When Dee expressed how nervous she was, the seamstress told her that she couldn't work on her gown because she was still altering gowns for weddings that very weekend. That is an incredibly stressful thing to hear when a bride is already dealing with everything else that comes with preparing for a wedding. When we finally went for the final fitting, just days before the wedding, there were still issues. Dee had chosen a ballroom bustle, which required additional buttons. The sleeves, which we had been told would be detachable, had instead been sewn directly onto the dress. Long story short, the hem when bustled was uneven, but thankfully, because it grazed the floor, it wasn't particularly noticeable. The sleeves, however, were never aligned correctly. I'm attaching three photos so you can see the problem from both sides. The seamstress did make the straps detachable, so Dee was at least able to take them off after the ceremony, but unfortunately, they are visibly misaligned in all of her wedding photos. We were very happy with the staff and the gown selection at White Gown, but the alteration experience was extremely disappointing and added unnecessary stress at an already stressful time. When I mentioned to the seamstress that she needs help, she said she can't trust anyone else to do it like her - or find the time to train an assistant. That would seem to be something White Gown needs to interced with.

The seamstress only speaks Spanish and the employees, including the owner, Antoinette, only speaks English. We got my dress around November and immediately started rushing the alteration process when my wedding isnt until May. And said "O were closing the store in January" which is obviously a lie since they are now saying they are open until the end of March. This is not the expierence you should get when getting you wedding dress. They are also a cash only store and expect you to pay everything up front. They gave my mom a very hard time when it came to payments. Then acted like we were the bad guy for wanting to take my dress somewhere else. Well with the Blonds attitude that works there they will continue to loose a lot of customers. I will happily do my alterations at Davids Bridal where they are actually friendly to customers and will take their time getting my dress done right. Only positive with this place is the dress I got. So my advice would be stay away and find a better bridal shop where they actually care.

She didn't help pick any dresses, was pretty negative about my price range etc. BSB was the exact opposite! I had Liv as my stylist and she made me so comfortable and really listened to what I was looking for. The first dress she chose ended up being exactly what I was imagining and in my price range! They had a gorgeous selection and from the time I walked in to the time I left, I had a smile on my face. The whole team made my experience memorable and stress free.
