(And when I say on my shoulder, I mean the other end of the phone saying, "gwaaaan, let's get Chinese!") I don't mind, not one bit. So, after perusing the various Just Eats, and trying to discount options by reviews and odd names (one was simply called "Amazing") we picked Dinner Box. Thanks for the tip Andy W! Everything arrived in good time, and the portions are the standard size - in that they're pretty large and enough for me to last two days. (I've mentioned before that I reheat a lot.) The special curry has plenty in it, the usual standard of chicken, pork, prawns, and such like. Lots of mushrooms too, which I always appreciate. The sauces were perhaps a little thinner than I've had, however, we decided this may be due to having less MSG, so that's a good thing. The chips weren't quite as tasty as some places, but we got a decent feed, and looking at the menu the set meals are actually really good value. We ordered about £16 worth of food, but for £17.50 could have had starters, appetisers, mains and more. Worth checking out. One day I'll stop going for my usual curry, and try branching out to more interesting things, but you know when you want what you know? Yep, that's how it was. Decent food, good arrival time, but not super special. I'd order again though!

I was ordering from How Are You for a good few years until the quality waned dramatically a while back. Now I doubt I'll go elsewhere for a while. It's not perfect - I've had one or two bland meals from Dinner Box, but on the whole it's been very good, and rather handy since I can walk to pick it up!

I think I'd be more inclined to spend my money at 'Joe's fairly average pizzas', as they at least would win points for honesty. Unsurprisingly, the pizza at Jacob's is, of course, overwhelmingly average, with nothing to recommend it above the hundreds of other similar outlets in Leeds. My margherita was cheap and perfectly edible, but missing any obvious hint of having had the 'expert' touch. Unless they're experts at making pizza go from boiling hot to lukewarm in 60 seconds, in which case I will happily concede them the title. They also do curries and burgers, and some good meal deals which, although they won't exactly be a culinary revolution, are pretty good value if you're with a load of hungry mates.

I agree with Suzi M. on this matter. If Jacob's were such Pizza Experts, why bother making it look…read morelike a total rip-off of a Domino's Pizza shop right from the word go? The pizza's were fine, though as such experts, does that mean that any Tom, Dick or Harry and the rest of the samey samey takeaway shops I have ever entered qualify? That'd be one to add to the CV if proven so! Offering up the usual bizarre mix of Italian, American and Indian food with their pizzas, burgers and curries, I feel that the latter two options detract greatly from the expert status they believe themselves to be worthy of. If it is a true expert pizza you're after, I doubt you'll be blown away by the pizza here. Just seeing their sign to start off with made me quite fancy a Domino's instead!

Five Guys - Small fries (there were more in the bag). Vinegar on these was a mistake.

I'm THAT guy who's all like, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS GREAT NEW PLACE, but you knew it was here for like, a gajillion years! You don't even need me to tell you. I get it. You know the secret. Or, the not-secret. But let's JUST BACK UP A SECOND. Alright, using all-caps is well lazy and I could use my good-words to show you how much I loved the burgers here. Fair do. But maybe I just want to shout, 'puter style, because the absolute grease-dream of a mouth party that these guys are about just makes me incompetent at sentences. Or, maybe that's the extreme amount of calories fuzzing my brain-thoughts. I love burgers so much I might do a cry. SuperlativeSuperlativeSuperlative. It's kinda between them and Shake Shack right now. (All right, Get Baked need a mention too.) Why can't I eat these every day? What is the science behind why they taste so good? Who am I, anyway? There are many questions. Five Guys have the answers to most of them.

If i say they drowned the chips with it would be an understatement. There was a massive selection of soda of which i was impressed with the fact that they had all their versions of the soda you can have in zero version without the sugar. The burgers were good but not great...it was meh, better than what would get in mcdonalds or burger king and they should be with the price they had it. I couldn't stop feeling though that i over payed because of the brand instead of the product. I mean it was a burger, chips and a drink served in a paper bag for almost £11.
