After a long flight back home this parking lot took 30 minutes to pick us up in their bus. It's 6 am and I could've been home by now. It should not have taken this long to get me to my car. Never using this parking spot again. The Spot parking would be the best parking. read more

Came in on return flight and car at South Terminal. There were others also. Waited over half hour for shuttle when told they would be right up. Tried calling there assistance line twice that they would not even answer. Driver was nice but beware when needing to go to South Terminal Second bad experience with them at airport. Like others here, I used some of my parking points to cover 2 days of a 3 day trip this past weekend. Oddly enough, I found that I was still charged for two days. I brought it to their attention on Monday, they checked it out on Tuesday, and this morning (Wednesday) they issued a refund. I'm not impressed but they did fix it so I'm cautiously optimistic it was a honest mistake. read more

I'm an airline employee and park at the employee lot. The shuttle drivers for the employee lot are always friendly and drive safely. Denise Lincoln at the parking office provides great service whenever I have to go into the office (to update payment methods or to a receipts). She is always smiling and always provide friendly greetings! read more

I called ABIA to set up a contract for long term parking. I had put it off for awhile, thinking it would be a pain. When I finally did call I was immediately greeted warmly and given outstanding service, beginning to end. You know, you think "Airport Parking" and picture the DMV, right? Trust me, if you call this office, you'll get professional, knowledgeable and friendly service. Go in and meet folks, everyone is cheerful, and eager to help. I even got a call after I had everything set up and was checking out the parking lot, asking if I was okay and if there was anything else they could do for me. Particular praise to Denise Lincoln. I want to personally thank Stephanie Fitts for hearing me out and taking immediate action on addressing my parking inquiry here at ABIA. I am impressed with their level of customer service. I park at the Austin airport about three times a year 10-15 days at a time. I used to love ABIA for the great pricing and easy shuttle service but my last two trips have been extremely disappointing. Today I pulled into the $8/day long term economy lots only to be routed directly through and out to the exit plaza where I was told the lot was full (despite there being an excess of 80-100 open spaces visible passing through and driving around the lots) but that there were available spaces by taking two rights - or a right at the second stop sign. Following these confusing directions ended up just being a reroute to the new blue garage, which is $15/day parking - no wonder why they had all those open $8/day spaces closed off. It's currently under construction, but echoing what was said here previously - getting out of the blue garage and into the terminal is a lengthy walk through the red garage that makes absolutely no sense. I took an elevator down to the first floor of the blue garage to walk across the fourth floor of the red garage and down to an elevator in the opposite corner. You are better off booking a spot at one of the many satellite parking areas around the airport. Their parking is cheaper per day (around $11) and the complimentary shuttle service will eliminate the walk through both garages. read more

I would give them no stars. Waited 30 minutes for a pick up when I returned home at a normal 430 pm time. Drivers are courteous but they're apparently understaffed. I will park offsite in the future. read more

Carlos O is the best driver I've ever had. I travel often and have quite a few ride services. Carlos was extremely positive, a pleasure to talk with for a few minutes while he brought us to our car in the ABIA parking lot and even refused a tip. I was impressed. Arrived home to the Austin Airport and our driver, Carlos Oviedo, was awesome! The nicest, most informative and helpful driver ever. He was so enthusiastic about his job and made my shuttle ride back home so much better. Great to get home and be greeted and helped by such a nice man! :) read more

My dad and I were having trouble finding the car, employee Francis was incredibly patient and proactive in helping us find our vehicle, strategically helping us maneuver through almost every level of the parking garage until we found it. He was helpful even when we weren't. Successful find even though we didn't know the license plate to look it up in the system. read more

Really long wait for the Bus over 45 minutes from getting in line to getting to B lot. The buses have a health option they have no AC so it's just like a sweat box. I'm a member of there parking program which is only good for getting the receipt sent to you , I fly about 25 weeks a year and never have enough points to take free days. When I came in this week I was forced to take a ticket because the frequent parking swipe was not working. Checking into off site park now. Just feed up with how bad the airport parking has gotten at ABIA read more

About a week and a half 2 weeks ago I had a very bad experience....the lots were closed and we were rerouted to the garages. when I pulled up there was a long line and some workers working on the ticket machines. as a drove up to the ticket machine I was confused on where to go and was asking for help. A tall man with acne scars and a southern accent and wearing a brown shirt who was working on the machine slammed his hand on the machine and threw a ticket at me and said "well do you wanna park in the garage or what!". I was actually scared of him and his aggressive tone. He seemed extremely irritable like I was imposing on him. This did not make my experience at Austin airport a good one and I will be telling my friends and family to watch out for this man. read more

Beware the 'cheap daily rate.' Go even a minute over and they charge you for another full day. I fly out of other airports and almost always there's an hourly rate up to the daily max. Not here, and they don't tell you that anywhere on their web site. read more

HORRIBLE Experiences and Extremely DISORGANIZED operation and scamming people out of money . I have now been cheated out of money by the valet service TWICE. The first time for $80 and the second time for $108. On both occasions I had redeemed reward points that I had collected through extensive work travel. I had an email confirmation of the reservation and the deduction of my points from my account, but on both occasions was told that their "system" was not working and I would have to pay. After, being told that my car would be held hostage unless I paid, and it wasn't their problem that the reward system wasn't working; I was forced to pay large amounts of money to get my car back when I would have never parked there if I did not have the points. The supervisor was extremely rude to myself and my wife. I tried to calmly explain this was the second time this has happened and it makes no sense that we should pay again for their issues and mistakes, all while he was yelling at his staff to take our car back. I had proof the points had been deducted, and he could have easily given us our car and resolved the points issue with their Parking Perks department. Instead he would only say that "Everyone pays" and he didn't care what the right thing to do was. I can only think this is a scam based on it occurring to us twice and based on how they referenced that "we always make everyone pay" and you can get your points back". I now have 90,000 reward points with this service that I now can only assume I'll never be able to use without being scammed to actually pay. I travel at least twice a week and work with a company of about 200 that also travel on a regular basis. I will definitely be ensuring that my work force seeks alternate parking solutions. Hopefully, I can convince someone in this operation to actually act and provide proper customer service. read more

If I could select zero stars I would. I travel most weeks and ABIA has made parking as confusing as possible w poor signage and directions. But this morning won the prize for terrible service. I drove around the parking garage for over 20 minutes looking for a parking place including 5 minutes stuck behind a gigantic truck maneuvering into a spot far too small (the ONLY spot available because someone pulled out). I left and the parking people tried to charge me for the pleasure of driving around the garage. Then went to valet park. Stood there for ten plus minutes before the only person working told me I would have a long wait because so many cars were stacked up. By this time there were probably ten or twelve cars behind me. Again, hassle getting out of the parking area. Dashed to long term parking and finally found a spot. There were five other people on the long term bus who had the same lousy experience. I will now utilize the offsite parking options. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. read more
